This was an absolutely perfect stay! The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to Yan'an 3rd Road Metro Station. It's just 5 stops from Qingdao Railway Station and a mere 1 stop from May Fourth Square, making getting around incredibly convenient.
I checked in quite late, almost midnight, on my first night, but the process was very quick. The room itself was spotless, with no strange odors, and the bathroom had a practical wet/dry separation layout. There was also a mini-bar available, and the view from the window was quite pleasant.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! They even rotated the hot dishes every morning over my three-day stay, and everything tasted delicious. The freshly-made noodles paired with their unique kidney bean and clam soup were especially delicious. Other options like fruits, bread, drinks, and congee were also plentiful, and the staff cleared tables very efficiently.
Every day, after I returned from sightseeing, the housekeeping staff had tidied up the room perfectly – truly impressive! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The room was very spacious, and overall, I had an excellent impression. On the first day, I had a minor hiccup with breakfast due to my own misunderstanding, but the hotel staff quickly sorted it out. The breakfast spread was very generous.
However, there are a couple of points that could be improved:
1. The elevators were quite slow. During peak times, waiting times for the elevator were 5 minutes or longer.

The hotel's location is super convenient, with the subway station directly across the street, and the staff were also quite friendly and welcoming.

Upon checking into our room, we were disgusted to find a previous guest's dirty sock on a chair. The facilities are quite dated; it feels like an older property that has undergone a renovation or rebranding, not a new build. A hotel without a pool shouldn't be rated 5-star. The elevators are incredibly slow, and there are only two of them. Breakfast was very average. During peak season, the value for money is extremely poor. While I can accept that hotel prices increase during the summer peak season, the room facilities were quite dated. However, what was truly unacceptable was the room's cleanliness. Daily housekeeping merely involved emptying the trash and refilling water bottles; they didn't even bother to pick up a single piece of paper from the floor. Upon checking in on the first night, I immediately noticed the floor was very dirty, with a lot of hair in both the room and the bathroom. On the second day, after being out all day, I returned in the evening to find the bed hadn't been made. The front desk's explanation was that they assumed we wouldn't want anyone touching our bedding (because I had laid down a disposable bedsheet), and therefore didn't make the bed. On the morning of the third day, a staff member was waiting directly outside the adjacent room and asked if I was the one who called the night before? I was speechless! The hotel's location is superb, with shopping malls, restaurants, and attractions all within easy reach. Getting around is incredibly convenient, whether by subway or taxi. Stayed two consecutive days in Qingdao during summer vacation, paying nearly 1000 RMB per night, and I can only say the experience was extremely poor!
**Facilities**: The incredibly slow and low-capacity elevators were one of the main reasons for the low rating. They showed full with only about 8 people, and there were several times I waited through multiple cycles and still couldn't get in. This was my second visit to the hotel, and it never disappoints! In fact, it was even better than the first time! The suite was spotlessly clean, and the view was beyond my expectations. I’ve truly fallen in love with this hotel and will definitely return every time I visit Qingdao. The cleanliness here is exceptional, unlike anything I’ve experienced at other hotels—absolutely flawless! The reception staff were wonderful and understanding, handling everything with professionalism and positivity. I also adored the housekeeping lady; she was so kind. Despite the language barrier, she understood me and helped me a lot!
My only issue was that when we went down for breakfast at 10 AM, we were told it was too late and weren’t allowed to enter. However, the family in line before us was permitted to go in and have breakfast, which was quite upsetting. Because of this, we didn’t try the buffet again, even though the delicious and varied breakfast options were one of the reasons we chose to return to this hotel. 😔
A big thank you to the staff and management for their honesty and for making this hotel truly remarkable. This definitely won’t be my last visit! ❤️🩹

Great hotel stay that is central to a lot of shopping and attractions. Rooms were clean and spacious. Getting around was very easy with DiDi (ride hailing app). The hotel breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. Hotel staff were also accommodating and helpful with recommendations and travel arrangements. My only constructive feedback would be that there were only two working elevators during our stay so wait times were lengthy going up/downstairs.
