Liu*yangMy friends and I stayed at the Dalian Qingqiu Hotel during our trip, and the overall experience was excellent, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The hotel boasts a new Chinese design style, with elegant and refined layouts that exude a rich classical charm. The public areas are thoughtfully decorated, featuring pavilions and staggered scenic views that create a strong atmospheric ambiance. The aesthetic design is consistent throughout the entire space, giving it a unified and unique character.
The lobby has a scenic fish pond with koi swimming freely, adding a lively and elegant touch. Feeding the fish is interactive and adds a lot of vitality to the environment, making a stroll through the area very pleasant. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and simple yet stylish interiors. The amenities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet, ensuring a very relaxing stay.
The hotel offers free traditional Chinese costumes for guests to try on and take photos, which is a lot of fun. The location is a major highlight, as it's excellent and close to Xinghai Square, making travel very convenient. Nearby attractions and dining spots are concentrated, saving time and effort for sightseeing and business trips.
The hotel breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring a refreshing Chinese set meal. The minced pork noodles, seaweed soup, and side dishes are just right, and there are also sweet steamed cakes, egg custard, and cherry tomatoes. Overall, this hotel combines beauty, comfort, and practicality. The design, environment, service, and location are all commendable, offering a fantastic experience and great value for money. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian and highly recommended.

We were given a free upgrade to an unbeatable family room with a panoramic sea view, and the view truly lives up to the 'unbeatable' description! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows face the Jinshitan coastline directly. You can lie in bed and watch the sky and sea merge into one, and at sunrise, the entire ocean turns golden – it's incredibly therapeutic. Honestly, though, the room itself was a bit compact, especially after setting up the kids' bed and luggage, leaving limited moving space. However, it was well-designed, and the family-friendly amenities were complete (kids' toiletries and small slippers were all provided).
Right outside the hotel is a long stretch of beach, actually seven of them, with fine, soft sand and clean water. The kids dug in the sand, played in the waves, and collected seashells, refusing to leave until dark. The best part is how convenient it is – you just go downstairs and you're at the sea. Transportation is also easy, with a tram and electric carts available, which is fantastic for families with kids.
Overall impression: Although the room was small, the view and convenience were absolutely worth the price. It's perfect for families seeking a sea view and a relaxing trip with children. If you're particular about room size, you might need to adjust your expectations, but for this sea and beach, I think it's well worth it.
Our stay was a fantastic experience overall; the kids had a blast, and the adults relaxed. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a family trip to Jinshitan, Dalian!

It was really pleasant to soak in the hot spring and enjoy an iced coffee in the room on a rainy day, especially with Dalian's comfortable weather.
Facilities: The room facilities had a charming, retro feel from an earlier era. While a bit old, they were fairly well-maintained.
Hot Spring Ticket for Two (Single Entry): The hot spring itself was quite good, though the massage services closed a bit early.
Service: Brynn provided attentive and warm service, which definitely enhanced our entire trip.
Breakfast was pretty standard, but the scrambled eggs with shrimp from room service were surprisingly good.

This is Dalian's top five-star hotel, boasting breathtaking views of the cross-sea bridge. It features luxurious European-style decor and offers first-class service. The day before my arrival, a lovely staff member named Sunny proactively reached out to me. After adding her on WeChat, she provided a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities and services. On the day of check-in, she confirmed my arrival time and arranged my room in advance. After I checked in, she was incredibly attentive, checking in on me and promptly responding to any questions or needs I had.

Unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

I was a bit apprehensive before entering the room, mainly because of the negative reviews I'd seen before booking, which made me quite hesitant. Plus, it was the last day in Davos, and with people checking out continuously, I wondered if the hotel could clean the room in time – a real test of their service.
However, the moment I opened the door, I was pleased. It was much better than I expected, and the night view from the window was quite nice. After looking around, it met my expectations for a family room. Most importantly, the kids liked it, with a carpet flight chess game, three TVs, and two bathrooms – essential for families traveling with children. While the room facilities had an older style overall, I didn't find them as bad as the negative reviews suggested.
Of course, after putting down our luggage, I did notice some flaws, like fruit pits and bookbinding fragments that hadn't been cleaned up promptly. More issues cropped up during our stay. Although the lobby manager repeatedly apologized for the shortcomings before we checked out and even gave us a small gift, hoping we wouldn't write a review, my child expressed a wish to stay here again on our way home. That's why I'm writing all this. I hope the hotel can demonstrate the professionalism expected of a Shangri-La and make further improvements. After all, the problems we encountered shouldn't be excused by regional differences between north and south. Service has no regional boundaries; it's all about the experience.
On a positive note, the hotel's QR code room service is commendable, and the cleaning staff's attitude was excellent. The pool is great for kids to play in and adults to relax; just remember to wear slippers as the room slippers aren't waterproof. The hotel's location is also good. Strolling towards Zhongshan at night with the sea breeze is a pleasant experience. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to city attractions like Venice Water City and Central Plaza. Perhaps it was luck, but I even got a BMW, Denza, and Tesla as taxis – quite fortunate given the fast-paced Dalian ride-hailing drivers. So, overall, my few days here were good, which is why I gave the environment a high rating.

AFANGAFANGThis stay was absolutely perfect! I initially booked for one night just to try it out, but after that first night, I extended my stay for three more.
The hotel's location is excellent, right in Dalian's city center with convenient transportation. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station following the navigation, but it's not directly facing the station square, so the environment is quite pleasant. The hotel is surrounded by a vibrant commercial district and dining options, with many large shopping malls. Tianjin Street is just a few dozen meters away, and the Lantern Festival celebrations there were so lively during the Chinese New Year. Zhongshan Square is less than a 10-minute walk away. On my first night, I couldn't wait to see Zhongshan Square lit up at dusk – it was freezing in winter, so there weren't many people on the large square, but the light show was incredibly beautiful. Russian Street is also within walking distance. For Dongguan Street and Xi'an Street, they're not far from the hotel, and you can easily get there by taking an old tram. In short, it's convenient to get anywhere from here.
Hotel service quality: The main reception is on the 16th floor. The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and very friendly. Check-in was quick, and they even upgraded my room – wonderful! I especially want to thank Mr. Wang Tao; he answered all my questions with great patience. It was quite a coincidence that he was the one who assisted me with both check-in and check-out.
The hotel is bright and clean, very tasteful, and fully equipped with comfortable bedding and excellent hygiene. The dining options are diverse. I particularly recommend their free laundry service. This hotel is definitely worth recommending to friends visiting Dalian.

Guest UserMy stay at the Xulailai Qixi Seaview Resort Hotel during my trip to Dalian was an exceptionally great experience. The hotel's location is superb; I could see the vast ocean right from my window. Waking up to watch the sunrise and enjoying the sunset glow in the evening was breathtaking, offering expansive views and a wonderful ambiance.
The room itself was spotless and tidy, with a fresh and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities were complete, with stable hot water supply in the bathroom and all necessary toiletries provided. The staff were warm and friendly, responding to requests promptly and thoughtfully. They handled inquiries about travel and luggage storage with great care.
The surrounding area offers convenient access for sightseeing; it's not far from seaside attractions, making walks and exploring very easy. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Dalian.

Guest UserThis hotel is a hidden gem! It's spacious, immaculate, and boasts both style and substance. The elevator requires a key card for access, which adds a great layer of privacy. The room itself features a sleek, sophisticated design, and the voice-controlled lighting and curtains are incredibly convenient. The bedding is high-thread-count cotton, and they even offer a choice of soft or firm pillows. The bathroom amenities are essential oil-based with a wonderfully healing citrus scent. In the common areas, there's complimentary freshly ground coffee and fruit tea – perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up after a day out. Every detail here shows thoughtfulness. I posted pictures, and everyone was asking for the link! Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality.

The hotel facilities are a bit old. However, the location is great for beach access, especially with kids. We walked to Xinghai Park for tide pooling in just three minutes. I'd also like to thank Auntie Yao from housekeeping. She was very thoughtful, proactively asking if we needed extra amenities for our child, and kept our room spotless every day.
