The hotel is very close to the subway station, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby. It's also great for families traveling with children.
Suggestions: Two pillows for a double bed felt a bit sparse; four would be much more comfortable. Also, adding a clothesline would be a great convenience, especially for hanging personal towels and other small items.

It's pretty good, pretty good, and quite acceptable. The room is small, but it's in Shanghai after all. The main problem is that one of the two elevators is broken, and the other is slow, so you have to wait 20 minutes for the elevator!

Meiyi Hotel Wujiaochang (Fudan Management School Branch) in Shanghai is absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable, right near the metro station and conveniently situated next to shopping malls and universities. Our room featured panoramic windows, smart controls, a truly comfortable mattress, and the bathroom details were excellent. The staff provided incredibly warm and welcoming service, and the 24-hour book bar and gym were practical and much-appreciated amenities. We'll definitely be choosing this hotel again for our next visit!

The Wujiaochang area boasts excellent transportation links, with Metro Line 10 providing direct access to Hongqiao Airport and Railway Station. The surrounding area is a bustling commercial hub, featuring major shopping malls like Bailian, Hopson One, Wanda, and Printemps. Hopson One, in particular, offers great convenience for shopping and dining. The hotel is also conveniently located near several universities, including Fudan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics; Tongji University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University are also easily accessible via Metro Line 10.
The hotel's facilities are quite new. However, the interior design had some functional shortcomings. For instance, the bathroom door's proximity to the toilet is awkward; a sliding door would have been much more practical. The placement of the washbasin mirror directly facing the bed is also problematic, as it can disrupt sleep, especially when the lights are on. Furthermore, the lighting design is overly complex, with switches scattered inconveniently throughout the room, making them cumbersome to use.
Overall, the facilities are very new and stylish. These are my personal observations after staying for several days.

GGuest UserI extended my stay in Modena by Fraser at Wujiaochang because I had a good stay here. This is my second review of this place, which should be read with my first review. My first review (one of the first three reviews of this place) forgot to mention about the breakfast, room price, and to provide photos. These will be covered by my second review now. First, about the breakfast. This place is so new that the breakfast comes in a set meal bento box delivered directly to your room by a robot at a time of your preference. The breakfast dining area was not yet open for meals during my stay so I was unable to try or review it. But Leo from the hotel says that the dining area should open sometime next week. In any case, the seat meal breakfast was filling and decent as an interim breakfast solution. Second, the room price. I paid around CNY 512 per night, breakfast being complimentary. I find this to be value for money. I enjoyed the facilities of the hotel/service apartment, especially the in-room washer and dryer, which is very convenient. Many other hotels do not have a washer and dryer in the room itself, but this place does. Third, the photos. These will show that the room provides a good amount of storage space for clothes, shoes, and more. The mirror in the bathroom has its own light and defrosting function: I found it useful! A modern table lamp is provided on the desk for work. That lamp has a wireless charging pad. Other wired charging power outlets are placed around the room, including USB-C and USB-A outlets.

GGuest UserI saw good reviews online before booking, but was disappointed when I arrived. My husband criticized me for a long time. I thought that for more than 300 yuan a night, the room should not be so small. It might be just right for one person. We are two people. If we hadn't been attending a wedding nearby in the evening, we would have canceled the stay. Fortunately, we only brought a small suitcase... There were no napkins, only small rolls of poor quality... Anyway, I was disappointed and regretful. The only thing I was satisfied with was the service attitude of the front desk and the location. It is close to Line 10, about a 10-minute walk.

GGuest UserThe front desk service was good. The room was really nice, looking large and very clean. The maid did a good job of cleaning. I chose the smart model, which was called through Xiaodu. I tried it all and it can control the curtains, TV power on and off, the smart toilet, and the lights. Overall, it's OK. 😄 There's food and drink downstairs, which is quite convenient. I didn't realize there's no shortage of food around here until I stayed at this hotel. Hahaha. 😂 There are convenience stores and large supermarkets not far away. There's a bus at the door that can take me to wherever I want to go.

MMumuyuanziI booked a hotel and noticed there were no reviews for this one yet, so I'm going to add this. This hotel features a unique Japanese-style decor, but there are some issues that left a lasting impression. First, the wooden floor near the door is chipped, and the damaged area is taped together, making it look cheap. Second, the projector is difficult to use; the focus is not perfect, and the image is blurry no matter how you adjust it, either in the center or on the sides. Third, there are some issues with the plumbing and ventilation. As soon as you enter, you can smell a mixture of feces and cigarette smoke, which made me open the window for a long time to ventilate. Fourth, there's an issue with the bathtub—I can't remember what it was, but it seems to be related to anti-slip properties or hygiene. On the plus side, the location is close to the edge, which provides ample space and is quiet. Waking up in the morning to sunlight filling the room is quite pleasant. I hope these issues can be addressed.
