Kunming Hotels with Pools

This hotel offers a 100-point experience! The hotel is clearly managed with great thought and care, allowing guests to enjoy a true vacation without even leaving the premises. The facilities are exquisite, featuring Hansgrohe faucets and Duravit sanitary ware and toilets. The shower drains perfectly and has excellent water pressure. The toiletries are good quality, even the disposable toothbrushes are carefully selected, and they thoughtfully provide facial towels and laundry detergent. The towels are thick and don't shed. The room is clean and odor-free. The bedding feels luxurious and the pillows are comfortable. The lighting design and smart zoning are incredibly well-planned. The fresh flowers upon check-in were a lovely touch, as was the complimentary travel photoshoot. The food is delicious! Every breakfast item was tasty, and the late-night snacks were impressive – even the grilled skewers were good. The afternoon tea was also very refined. The hotel's terrace offers a beautiful blue hour ambiance and a spacious, airy feel. The staff are genuinely sincere, professional, and incredibly nice in their attitude and greetings. Their service truly makes you want to praise them, write a detailed review, and motivates you to return for another stay! I wish the brand continued success.

Five stars to the DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport! From the lobby environment and room cleanliness to the breakfast and airport shuttle service, everything met a high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend Cai Cai. I was quite tired upon arrival, but Cai Cai was incredibly patient, efficiently handled my check-in, thoroughly explained all hotel services, and even offered thoughtful advice regarding my flight schedule. Any questions I had were answered promptly and properly, truly demonstrating exceptional service. The hotel maintains excellent quality control, and with such outstanding staff service, it has become my go-to choice for layovers in Kunming. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Changshui Airport.

The hotel upgraded our room type, which was very comfortable overall. Located on a high floor in Kunming city center, the hotel offers excellent views. It also has direct access to Hang Lung Plaza, making shopping very convenient. The only thing I would mention is that the front desk didn't inform us about the complimentary shopping mall vouchers during check-in. I only found out later through the platform and had to go back to inquire and collect them. Other facilities are beautiful and well-curated. The room was cleaned thoroughly, and they provided plenty of bottled water, which I really appreciated. The turndown service was also good. My suggestions for improvement would be that the conditioner was not moisturizing enough, and the eye mask was a bit tight on the ears. The breakfast selection was rich and everything tasted delicious. The only thing I need to point out is that on the first day, the female attendant who led us to our table seemed visibly annoyed because we took a few minutes to choose our seats instead of sitting down immediately. She also didn't offer us any drinks. I only realized later that we could order tea or coffee when I saw another staff member taking orders from newly arrived guests. When I asked her about it, she was clearly unhappy and just said, 'Order now.' This really put a damper on the experience. The male staff member we encountered on the second day, however, was excellent with great service and attitude. Therefore, the hotel should definitely strengthen its training to improve the overall quality of service and ensure consistency.

The apartment is great and the lady who took care of us answered promptly to our requests, so it's a great option if you want to feel like you're actual living in Kunming, instead of just being a guest in a hotel. The only minor issues is that there seem to be some stains in the ground that should be cleaned more thoroughly, and also the wok that we were offered to cook had a lot of burnt oil on the bottom, so the moment we put it on the hob it started to burn and stink. We gave up on cooking because we didn't want to have any accident or fire (incidentally, someone else triggered the fire alarm on our last night). We later asked for a small pot to boil the eggs we had bought and that small pot was great, so I think more care should be put on the cooking utensils offered to the guests. If it weren't for those small things, I'd have nothing to say but good things, so I hope this feedback can help this great hotel become perfect haha. Thanks for all your help and kindness, 阿姨！

We stayed here for three nights at the end of our Yunnan trip, and overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay. One thing worth clarifying is that the hotel is actually ”Park Inn by Radisson” or in Mandarin ”丽柏”. Trip.com listed it under a rather confusing name, “昆明·丽柏WAVESWEPT·MISTYSEA设计酒店,” which can make it difficult to identify the property. The location was excellent for us as we were travelling by train. The hotel is within walking distance of Kunming Railway Station and Line 2 metro station, making it very convenient for getting around. When it was time for us to leave, the hotel even offered us a complimentary ride to the metro station, where we could take a direct train to the airport. This was a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety of both Western and Chinese options, so there was something for everyone. They also served noodles from around 9–11pm, which was particularly welcoming when we arrived late in the evening with empty stomachs. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They gave us useful recommendations on where to visit around Kunming and were especially helpful when I had technical difficulties placing a ******* order as a foreigner. Their willingness to help with something outside the usual hotel services was much appreciated. The main downside for me was the sound insulation. I could clearly hear the water running from the neighbouring room whenever they turned on the tap. Traffic noise was also noticeable despite staying on the 4th floor. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The combination of a convenient location, excellent breakfast, late-night noodles, and genuinely helpful staff makes this a hotel I would happily return to when visiting Kunming again. Next time, I would simply request a higher floor for a quieter night's sleep.

Our stay at InterContinental Kunming was fantastic! We booked a premium twin room and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room, which was incredibly thoughtful, especially since my partner smokes. The room was quiet and private, and the location was very convenient for getting around. The hotel grounds are lush with greenery, creating a beautiful and secluded atmosphere. We had dinner at Xiang Dao Xuan Chinese Restaurant both nights, enjoying a 15% discount as hotel guests. The food quality was truly impressive; honestly, to find such excellent cuisine within a resort setting, I have to commend my own choice of hotel! The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, more than we could ever eat, and included fresh lettuce and purple cabbage grown right at the hotel. Their signature 'xiaoguo mixian' (small pot rice noodles) and 'er si' (rice cakes) tasted just as good as those from local eateries. If you're coming to Kunming, InterContinental is definitely the place to choose!

I stayed at the Sofitel in Kunming and had a truly excellent overall experience. The hotel has a strong French ambiance, and the lobby looks grand and elegant. It's located right in the city center, making it super convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. The room was spotlessly clean, the city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was fantastic, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. All the staff were very friendly and always willing to help with any issues. Mia's warm service definitely deserves full marks! The breakfast offered a wide selection, including authentic Yunnan snacks. It’s perfect whether you're traveling for leisure or on a business trip. I had a very pleasant stay this time and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kunming.

We love this hotel, despite some shortcomings. The location and facilities are beautiful and the food is teallly good. The restaurant service for some reason is dramatically chaotic, but we’ve gotten used to it. We had some inconsiderate guests in the room next to us who brought an entire barbecue set onto their balcony, stinking up our balcony and room. Sam was quick to move us to another room and was very apologetic. Hé is a true saving grace in this hotel. The recreation staff has also been very helpful and we had a lovely kayaking experience.

I absolutely recommend this B&B to everyone. The cleanliness is amazing, even a mysophobe like me can lie down in bed with confidence. The small courtyard is cozy and inviting, making me feel like I'm right at home all the time. [Proud] The B&B also has a big surprise: a heated swimming pool with clean water. The kids loved it. [Celebration][Fireworks][Wow] After swimming, you can enjoy a sauna in the steam room. There's also a piano and a gym, catering to everyone. The host is very welcoming and thoughtful, recommending nearby attractions and restaurants. [Loving] This B&B not only made me feel like home away from home, but also gave me a sense of warmth and peace of mind.

The room was incredibly comfortable for sleeping, pitch-black and very therapeutic! The hotel's decor and the room itself were meticulously designed, full of thoughtful details that showed great care. The cleaning staff were very polite and provided excellent service! I'd also like to specifically commend a few hotel employees: Andy, Satomi, and Isabel. They were all humble, warm, and great at problem-solving, with a strong service-oriented mindset. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard!
