Kunming Mountain view Hotels

Location is a big plus here — right next to the convention center, a shopping mall with tons of dining and shopping options, and DiDaDi outdoor theme park is literally just outside the hotel. The kids loved it and kept themselves busy the whole time. Rooms were great and the outdoor bathtub was a nice bonus. We had a minor hiccup with the AC going out overnight, but the manager was super responsive and got us moved to a new room without any hassle since the technician wasn’t around over the weekend. Really appreciated that. Free breakfast and supper are both included, and honestly both were really good — plenty of variety and everything tasted great. Oh, and don’t sleep on the hotel’s rooftop photo shoot. The views up there are stunning and it’s a proper must-do during your stay. All in all, a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

The biggest pleasant surprise of my Kunming trip was definitely the Dianyu Healing Hotel. It's conveniently located near Daguan Park and boasts excellent facilities: a clean outdoor pool, a gym, and complimentary self-service laundry and drying. They even offer daily sound bowl healing sessions and morning yoga. The front desk staff, especially one young man, provided meticulous service; check-in was efficient, and he proactively shared sightseeing routes for Dianchi Lake. Even food deliveries were brought to the room by a robot! The breakfast spread was a rich mix of Western and Chinese options. The lobby has a serene, Zen-like atmosphere, and cleanliness was impeccable everywhere. The self-service laundry and sound bowl healing were incredibly relaxing for both body and mind. Plus, parking was convenient, and the room had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, my stay was comfortable and relaxing from start to finish. I highly recommend this place for anyone vacationing in Kunming!

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times as a great spot for a staycation. I love its location where it’s right next to the lake and allows for some quiet walks. It’s also close to lots of food options. The service has always been great every time. This time I brought medicine that needed to be kept in the fridge at a certain temperature and the staff did an amazing job to make sure that was arranged. It was really attentive service. The manager on shift and Xiao Zhao were both great. Thanks for another great stay. Will definitely be back again next time.

The hotel's location is great. There's a Buddhist temple right next door, and across the street are Yuantong Temple and Kunming Zoo. It's also within walking distance of must-see attractions like Green Lake Park and Kunming Old Street. Plus, every staff member at the hotel is incredibly friendly and helpful. They personally guided us to the parking lot, assisted with our luggage, and always greeted us warmly. It was a very comfortable stay in Kunming, and both our elders and children enjoyed it!

Highly recommend! I really loved it – the environment is beautiful, and the staff are very enthusiastic. I'd definitely go back if I have the chance. They thoroughly clean the hot spring pools, which is great; it would be even better if it wasn't boiler water.

The room is pretty decent and big. There's just a bit of noise as the room I got is next to a room being renovated, but it is only during the daytime. The best thing for me aside from the beautiful view, big room, and big bed is the smart toilet (I specifically check for places with bidet for my stays, and this place got a high-tech one). The hotel and cold water are also great. I appreciate that the toilet, sink, and shower are separate. The staff are all kind and helpful. I got an issue with my DiDi account and need to book one for my scheduled tour, and the staff on duty gladly helped me book one paying for it and said I could just settle the payment later, and even escorted me to the DiDi and let the driver know I don't speak the language and to get me safely to the location. The other staff also helped me with my WeChat, which helped a lot during my whole stay in China. The only con that I can say (if you are specific with location) is that it is not that close with the usual tourist spots like the Kunming Old Street, but it is close to the South Railway station (Kunmingnan). This is not a big con for me as I actually enjoyed the nearby malls and alleys. This is one of the good stuff here as well. It is on top of a mall, and just across the place is also a place to go shopping (for clothes, food, restaurants). There's a big supermarket/department store in the next door mall too. It also gets lively at night. Overall, personally, I find this a great place to stay in Kunming.

Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. Whether it was helping me with local recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply greeting me with a smile every morning, they made me feel truly valued as a guest. The location is excellent — close to everything I needed, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, with plenty of variety to start the day right. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but this one truly exceeded my expectations in every way. I will absolutely be coming back, and I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting this area.

We had a great one-night stay. The room was clean and spacious, located in a quiet gated community. We arrived around noon and were warmly welcomed by the owner. At the gate, we showed our booking details to security, then walked a short distance to the unit with our luggage. We enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the in-house chef, and the owner also made us excellent, good quality coffee. The house is very close to Dianchi Lake, just a few steps from the gate. We were able to walk around the lake and even took a cableway across to the Western Hills (Must do). The lake area was also lovely for a nighttime walk. Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We wish we had stayed longer. The owner and staff were very friendly and made our stay even more pleasant.😊

This hotel offers incredible value for money, especially if you're catching a flight from Kunming. They provide free airport shuttle service, and the owner even upgraded us to a family room for free! The hotel has its own restaurant, and their mushroom and local chicken hotpot is incredibly authentic – so much so that many people drive specifically to eat it. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything.

This hotel is incredibly convenient for catching high-speed trains or using the subway. There are plenty of snack options nearby, and directly opposite the hotel is Bailongtan Park, which offers beautiful scenery and fresh air—perfect for an evening stroll after dinner. The service was excellent; they even helped us with our luggage because we had so much, and they recommended a fantastic mushroom hotpot restaurant. The room's cleanliness was exceptional, truly exceeding our expectations. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely choose this place again if we have the chance!
