The room isn't big, and neither is the lobby. I booked this last minute for a layover, mistakenly thinking the hotel was inside the terminal, which was my own error, so I can't blame the hotel. The airport shuttle service was not cheap, and surprisingly, it was outsourced rather than using the hotel's own vehicles to go directly to the airport. It even made detours to pick up guests from other hotels before heading to the airport, which was a first for me.

The hotel is an established five-star property with an excellent location, and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, the elevators were a major issue. One of the three was out of service for maintenance, and the remaining two were incredibly slow, especially during the day. Waiting for an elevator often took around 15 minutes, which is a significant waste of valuable time. For this reason, I cannot recommend it.
Great accomodation, great vibe and the staff were very professional and had great knowledge of the area. The check in was very quick during peak time and the valet service was efficient. The room we got had great views and was very clean. Comfortable mattress.
Great hotel to stay in Penrith, directly opposite the Panther league club which has lots of restaurants (can get busy on the weekend though). Room is big and modern. If you are not really into buffet breakfast, Tori Cafe down in lobby area is great for light breakfast and serves good coffee.
The hotel's location is its biggest advantage. Circular Quay is right outside the first floor, and Royal Gardens is across the street from the third floor, making it very convenient. The rooms seem like apartments, as when booking, each one seemed to have a kitchen, but we didn't need one. The room had a balcony with a view of the Sydney Harbour, which was beautiful both day and night. The only downside was that the gym equipment wasn't very well used. Breakfast was a generous portion, though you had to order it yourself. One portion was enough for two people.
