I asked the butler for two more hangers, as there weren't enough, and they responded promptly to my request. I recommend booking a higher floor if possible; the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view."

"On a 5-day, 4-night business trip, this established hotel truly delivered. The staff were excellent, providing great service. On check-in day, a lovely lady at the front desk proactively upgraded my room. During breakfast, after I'd already paid for two people, another wonderful staff member approached me to offer a better deal, refunded my original payment, and helped me reorder – that really left an impression! Checking out was also efficient with Steve and Neva, who were both friendly and helpful. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Wishing everyone all the best!"

For New Year's Eve dinner, I had pre-booked with Nina at the restaurant before my trip. To my surprise, when we arrived, the restaurant had arranged a special family photo shoot for all the diners – it was truly unforgettable! The next day, there was even a lion dance blessing event, making for a truly auspicious start to the new year!"

TTaiyangwenquandanThe room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful.
Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off.
Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!

It was such an emotional boost. Every morning I’d spend ages in the restaurant, just feasting (so good!). Waiting for the lion dance and various gods to appear, and getting red envelopes from them (the lions and gods would interact with guests at each table in the restaurant). The breakfast pastries had different delightful touches every day, which made me so happy.
In the evenings, the two bars had incredible views, giving off a vibe of extravagant decadence. I just loved indulging and chilling out every day.
Service was truly responsive to every request, always thorough, patient, gentle, and never annoyed. They were there whenever you needed them, but without being overly enthusiastic or overwhelming. The balance was just perfect – that’s a huge plus!
On checkout day, an important document accidentally blew under the car. The security guard and the manager at the entrance got down on the ground, blowing and fishing it out for me. Super impressive!
I have to praise the complimentary Chongqing noodles in the room. Regent's noodles really do have a unique texture! They’re something special! I had to slurp down a bowl every morning at breakfast. When I left, I ended up buying three extra boxes…
These few days in the bustling city of Chongqing were truly joyful! Everywhere I went, I had this illusion that I was about to become rich (just kidding, but not really). The massive golden tree, the auspicious lions, all sorts of gold ingots, gold coin chocolates, a well-stocked mini-bar with drinks, and various Chongqing snacks provided daily!
As someone in advertising, I have to say the ambiance here is masterfully done. The brand positioning is so well maintained. Full of emotional value ✅.
PS. The room facilities are new and complete, and cleanliness is excellent, no complaints. If I had to pick something, maybe the central air conditioning was a bit too warm.

GGuest UserThe hotel's facilities are excellent, and the decor is of a high standard, likely because it's relatively new. Overall, I'd say it's one of the better five-star hotels in Chongqing (I've stayed at several other high-end hotels multiple times as well). The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. A special shout-out to the hotel's service manager, Zhang Xiaodan, who, upon noticing it was a family member's birthday, even arranged for the kitchen to prepare a birthday cake. Thumbs up! 👍

WWajiaduguchenqunI prefer Niccolo's quiet sophistication. Though it's located right in IFS, it's completely secluded from the hustle and bustle, with direct elevator access to the upper floors. Yannie's service was professional and attentive without being intrusive; she was friendly but not overly effusive. In lively Chongqing, having such an undisturbed high-altitude retreat is a luxury in itself. Next time I'm in Chongqing, this will still be my top choice.

First of all, the hotel has a great location, just a few minutes' walk from Jinyu Metro Station, and the surrounding area is quite bustling. The front desk service was exceptionally warm and patient, answering my somewhat verbose questions without getting annoyed [laughing][laughing]. Check-in was efficient and smooth. (Actually, I chose this hotel through Ctrip, and I was a little skeptical because of some negative reviews. I thought I'd book one night first, and if it was good, I'd extend it; if not, I'd change hotels. I even added their WeChat account beforehand. The young lady at the front desk patiently answered all my questions, so I want to give them a big thumbs up for their professionalism [thumbs up]. After seeing the hotel in person, I immediately decided to book.) Now, let me talk about the room: spacious and bright, with a minimalist wood design that looked very cozy. The hotel has a touch of ”high-tech”: a smart phone, please see the photos [grinning]. The bedding looked very clean, and the separate wet and dry bathroom design was very reasonable. The bathroom not only had toilet paper but also a wet wipe, which was thoughtful! The hotel also offers free laundry service, and the breakfast is Chongqing noodles, which are quite delicious. Overall, this stay was excellent, both comfortable and convenient, and I highly recommend it! (There's also a bookshelf in the hotel lobby; although I was too busy sightseeing to look at it, it still had a nice feel to it [laughing][laughing])

GGuest UserStaying at Bolian Resort truly felt luxurious.
This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt.
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful.
Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out.
That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience.
The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that.
Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay.
However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast.
The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype...
In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.

LLishan HoHad a really wonderful stay here — easily one of the highlights of our Chongqing trip.
Service was exceptional from the start. The team reached out via WeChat even before our arrival and helped to arrange all our pre-check-in requirements smoothly, which made everything very seamless.
We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a Hot Spring Retreat Room to a Hot Spring House, which came with an additional terrace — such a lovely touch and made the stay even more special.
The in-room hot spring was definitely a highlight. Super relaxing, very private, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and of good quality. The overall environment is beautiful and peaceful, with very nice scenery all around — perfect for a quiet getaway.
Food was great as well. We had to check out in the middle of the night, and the staff kindly helped to prepare a takeaway breakfast for us, which we really appreciated.
There was also a complimentary photoshoot experience with Chinese imperial costumes, including 5 free shots. Additional edited soft copies are available at 25 RMB each — a fun and memorable activity to have during the stay.
Overall, everything from service to facilities exceeded expectations. Would definitely come back again.

YYangxiansenshuoWe chose to stay in the South Bank district to avoid crowds and noise, and we're so glad we picked the Marriott. We stayed for 5 nights, going out late and returning early, and had a wonderful time exploring Chongqing. If we ever come back, we'll definitely choose this Marriott again.
Room: We initially stayed in a city view room (4213), and then moved to a river view room (4301) for the last three nights. The room amenities perfectly matched the pictures on the OTA – classic but well-maintained, with everything you need. From the lobby greeters and front desk staff to housekeeping, everyone was incredibly friendly and super nice 😃. Of course, the night view from the river view room was even better!
Location: Much more convenient than we expected. The subway station is right outside, it's a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, and about 20 minutes to Chongqing North Station and East Station (for trips to Wulong and Fuling). Popular local restaurants in the surrounding residential area are just a short taxi ride away (starting fare).
Breakfast: The greeters, supervisors, and service staff in the 29th-floor dining area were all so cheerful and energetic. The variety and quality of the food were excellent; we had breakfast there 5 times and never got tired of it!
Public Areas: The swimming pool and the observation deck on the 51st floor offer an even better experience at night.
