"I didn’t get my original request due to a mix up but they were friendly to help me out. The staffs don’t speak English lot but they are patient and you can use translate app to communicate. They have free laundry room in the basement and a massage parlor open late. Super convenient, next to family mart store, near the station and right by Yu Garden. They even tucked in my travel buddy friend when they made the beds"

MManlianrenThe hotel experience was really good. The location is excellent, right by the Lujiazui Central Green Space, making shopping, dining, and subway access very convenient. The service was also great; we had someone guide us to the front desk upon check-in, and deliveries could be sent directly to the room. The concierge service was excellent. It was just a cloudy day, so I hope to visit again when the weather is better. I'll definitely choose the classic Ritz-Carlton next time I stay.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Sofitel Shanghai and had a wonderful experience. The hotel blends modern luxury with subtle French elegance, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere from the moment you step in. My room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and offered great city views. Overall, Sofitel Shanghai delivers a comfortable and refined stay. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

开开水ksbooked a room at the Banyan tree for my parents who were visiting to celebrate their wedding anniversary and upon check in we were greeted by the most lovely staff who quickly helped my parents check in and upgraded us for free to a nicer room. It also had prepared Rose petals within the room and some desserts to celebrate their wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. The room was unbelievable and the view alone made the whole experience worth it. My parents absolutely loved their stay and couldn’t stop raving about the service of all the workers as well. we had some items that my family were unsure if we could bring onto flight, and the hotel staff even went out of their way to call the airline to confirm for us. hotel amenities also great, huge gym and pool with multiple spas, and gym having a reformer pilates machine too. we’ve been to many hotels within shanghai now and this is by far the best , with strong service, a modern room and incredible view. all the photos of the view in the review were taken from within the room, better than going out to the bund!

SStuNZLovely hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to shopping and sightseeing locations, especially the Bund and Nanjing Lu. Huge shopping mall close by. Metro is an easy walk, and drop off/pick up for airport transfers is convenient. Plenty of local cafes and restaurants nearby.
The hotel itself is really nice. Clean, well appointed and meticulously clean. Special mention about the staff. So friendly and helpful. Really appreciated their ability to speak English, as our spoken Chinese wasn’t good. They helped us with so much information about local dining, shopping and sightseeing locations.
We arrived very late at night to check in. The staff welcomed us and gave us a free upgrade. The room was beautiful. Very roomy, good facilities and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in.
We had the pleasure of dining in the revolving restaurant. Food and service were impeccable. The special chocolate globe dessert is a must have. Delicious beyond description.
We stayed at the Radisson Blu for 4 nights and would happily have stayed longer. Would study there again without hesitation. Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable stay at your delightful hotel.

MM52215****In the cluster of hotels in Shanghai's core area, what truly sets Pullman Shanghai Jing'an apart isn't just its 'convenience,' but its precise balance between 'frequent travel needs' and ' understated luxury and relaxation.' It's like a discerning old friend: never showy, yet always hitting the right note at every critical juncture.
The hotel's location is supremely convenient, a 'hub-level' accessibility. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Shanghai Railway Station and a 3-minute connection to the subway. Whether you're catching an early high-speed train or returning after a night out on the Bund, there's no need to rush. Yet, the moment you step into the lobby, the city's hustle and bustle fade away. The understated luxurious decor, paired with vibrant greenery, avoids excessive flair, instead using perfect lighting and a delightful aroma to instantly relax you. The most pleasant surprise is the 'granularity' of the service: the concierge can arrange shipping for forgotten items for guests who have already checked out, and the front desk service is warm and efficient. This unforced attentiveness feels warmer than standardized service.
The rooms are an example of 'practical sophistication': floor-to-ceiling windows invite the city skyline in, the bedding is soft yet supportive, and it offers both a full-sized desk for business travelers and connecting room options essential for families. Even the sofa in executive suites can be converted into an extra bed free of charge, revealing a thoughtful consideration for different guest demographics in every detail. The leisure area on the 6th floor is a hidden gem: a 28℃恒温 swimming pool with the Jing'an skyline visible through floor-to-ceiling windows. In the evening, the golden sunset reflects on the water, creating stunning, high-quality photos effortlessly. The 24-hour gym ensures exercise is never a chore.
It lacks the gimmicks of 'influencer hotels' but, through a profound understanding of the 'essence of travel and living,' it enables business travelers to be efficient and stress-free, families to be comfortable and at ease, and solo travelers to find a sense of relaxation. In Jing'an, where every inch of land is precious, a hotel that 'understands needs and offers warmth' truly is the premier choice for accommodation.

AAnonymous UserEvery time I come for a staycation, the hotel lobby feels bright and comfortable, and the service is excellent. I'd especially like to commend a lovely lady from Malaysia named ”Evelyn.” She's not only beautiful but also very professional and well-mannered! As soon as I arrived, she had already reserved a room for me on the 19th floor. The room was comfortable and tidy, and the housekeeping staff was also fantastic. Every time they saw me return, they knew my preferences and would specially prepare extra items I needed in the room. It truly felt like home, very warm and inviting. The coffee and tea used in the room and lounge are also imported. As for the hotel's breakfast, its quality hasn't declined over the years; in fact, it's gone up a level! The variety is richer, and the taste is superb! The hotel also has many other facilities, including a Shanghai cuisine restaurant, a Western restaurant, and a Cantonese Chinese restaurant. There's also a gym. The hotel also has a very comfortable terrace, perfect for chatting and relaxing~ I highly recommend everyone come and experience it; you definitely won't be disappointed!
GGuest UserThe room was spotless, and the hotel is conveniently located near Hongqiao Railway Station with an abundance of great dining options in the vicinity. This is my go-to hotel every time I'm in the city. This visit, I was pleasantly surprised with welcome fruit – perhaps an executive room perk? The key card itself was also quite interesting. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely be returning!

LlolitaThis was our first time staying at Andaz Shanghai, and my child absolutely loved the duplex room. I stumbled upon it quite by chance and decided to give it a try, never expecting such incredible value for money.
Everything, from the smooth check-in process to the first-floor dining, the diligent housekeeping staff, the breakfast buffet, and even room service, was truly outstanding. I visit Shanghai frequently throughout the year and have stayed at many luxury hotels, including The Ritz and Regent, where the service often feels like superficial enthusiasm. However, every single employee here is genuinely proactive, anticipating guests' needs with heartfelt sincerity.
For instance, a young man in white from the ground floor bar saw me heading to check-in. He proactively followed me to the reception area and, noticing I hadn't finished my drink, offered to pack it up and have it sent to my room. At the breakfast buffet, every staff member was actively engaged; the food was freshly prepared, and even close to closing time, they diligently replenished items and proactively offered to pack food for guests to take away.
The cakes and fresh meat mooncakes were reasonably priced but tasted fantastic. My child insisted on ordering room service for every meal, and not once were we disappointed – everything was delicious! Even after checking out and finishing our day's activities, we had to return to the first floor for one last meal before heading to our next stop. Seeing how much my child cherished the place and how reluctant he was to leave, I promised him that on our next trip to Shanghai, we would definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts a prime location, with the Pearl River View rooms offering the absolute best Bund river views – encompassing the iconic 'Pearl Trio' (Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center) and a fantastic C-shaped bend of the Bund that combines both. The rooms are elegant and minimalist, with the double sinks being a particularly nice touch. Note that the hotel has two buildings, so pay attention to the room type when booking if you want a river view.
The hotel staff are professional and attentive. On the morning of our check-in, we received a call asking about our arrival time and any special requests, and they arranged a high-floor room for us, which was excellent! Despite the hotel being quite busy, the front desk and concierge handled everything efficiently and smoothly. When we accidentally took the wrong elevator after breakfast, a hotel employee inside quickly assisted us. Our room attendant, Anna, also provided excellent service throughout our stay.
Surprisingly, the breakfast was outstanding – incredibly rich and varied, with Chinese, Western, and Japanese options. The Western dishes, in particular, were delicious. This stay was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely bring my family here next time.

JJess and familyA very nice hotel at a very good location in Shanghai. Yes it is further away from Nanjing road than the hotels we normally stay at but Jing’an district is known for its restaurants and bars. The metro I close by which makes it more attractive. The hotel offers amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving kit etc and has a parking for the hotel guests.
Only negative is that parking is not included in the price and the hotel charge a really high price per night for the parking. We feel that when you pay as much as you do for this hotel, parking should be free for the guests!
