Very Good
GGuest UserJinhua Suites offered a truly healing stay. The all-suite design sets it apart from typical rooms, with spacious, airy, and simply comfortable interiors, along with comprehensive and user-friendly amenities. The view from the window directly overlooks a vast forest and mountain range, providing a cool and refreshing escape from the city's heat. The staff were humble and polite, and our butler, Haha, provided attentive guidance throughout our stay, detailing all the resort's activities and amenities. They were quick to respond to any issues, saving us the hassle of figuring things out ourselves. The location is excellent, with all dining, entertainment, and leisure options within easy reach, making getting around very convenient. It's a reliable, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing place, suitable for both group trips and small family vacations. Definitely a trustworthy choice for a relaxing getaway to Changbai Mountain.
SSUN_LisaThe environment is fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring experience was also incredibly relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety, but what truly stood out was the service. Right after check-in, a butler was assigned to us, ready to answer any questions and provide helpful reminders. There was even a dedicated shuttle service for the hot springs. Any issues we encountered were promptly resolved by the staff – their service-mindedness was truly impressive! The hotel's exclusive access to Changbai Mountain was very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserStayed with my family during Chinese New Year. We booked a club suite and a club king room. The rooms were a bit dated but generally well-maintained. The club rooms come with executive lounge access. The light meals are served in the lobby on the first floor, and while the selection wasn't huge, it was convenient. We had a butler who added us on WeChat, recommended some local attractions and activities, and helped arrange transportation, showing good service. If you're bringing kids for skiing in winter, definitely book a coach in advance via the mini-program.
GGuest UserRight at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.
LLuciano BendiGreat experience at Swissôtel Changbaishan!
The service was incredible from start to finish. We were able to check into our room immediately upon arrival at 11am and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade — from a standard queen room to a spacious suite with a separate living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. A fantastic way to start the trip.
The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, offering almost round-the-clock support via WeChat with very quick replies. The built-in translation feature made communication smooth and easy, which we really appreciated.
The location itself is beautiful. The European-inspired architecture and charming walking street genuinely make it feel like a small Swiss mountain town — aside from the many Chinese restaurants, of course. It’s a very scenic and relaxing environment.
Breakfast offered a great variety of options, including a standard Western/English breakfast along with plenty of Chinese and ASEAN dishes. Something for everyone.
The ski center and slopes are just a short walk away, which is very convenient. Do note that this area mainly offers green and blue runs, the mountain is relatively small and doesn’t have more challenging slopes. It’s perfect for beginners or those looking to practice, but advanced skiers may find it limited.
We arrived toward the end of the season, so the snow was starting to melt. However, the slopes were still very well maintained, smooth and surprisingly free of icy patches.
Ski rentals are available at the ski center. Basic skis and equipment are included free of charge, while gloves and goggles can be rented for a small fee.
After skiing, we visited the spa at Club Med, which was included in the room rate. The facility was surprisingly large, featuring outdoor hot springs (onsen-style pools), saunas, steam rooms, and massage services, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great destination for a relaxed ski getaway.

Outstanding
GGuest UserMy experience at Shangri-La Changchun was absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in the city center, making transportation convenient and getting around a breeze. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep even in a roadside room. The service details were impeccable; the front desk staff, especially a young lady, was warm and attentive, even offering complimentary breakfast for my child. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Check-in was efficient and swift, with a professional and friendly attitude, and they were always ready to assist. The gym and heated pool facilities are well-equipped, and I'd love to try them out next time. This will definitely be my first choice when I visit Changchun again.
GGuest UserThe room has a very traditional Chinese style, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the soundproofing is superb, allowing me to enjoy the tranquility my vacation deserved.
They even sent an ice bucket to the room in the evenings, perfect for a nightcap after a day of exploring. The hotel added me on WeChat beforehand, and the butler was able to provide timely and very attentive service.
The parking is free, and there's a direct elevator to the hotel, so the amenities are quite good.
The hotel's restaurant is fantastic. I usually struggle with new cuisines, but the food here was excellent and perfectly suited my taste. It offered local specialties while also being palatable for someone from the south. The breakfast, especially, was outstanding, and the wontons were delicious.
Finally, a special thanks to the duty manager, Joy. She was incredibly patient with every guest, providing a lot of help during my two-night stay and answering many of my questions about exploring the resort. When our car tire went flat after checking out, Joy even recommended a nearby repair shop that was very fair and reasonably priced. The service at Park Hyatt truly demonstrated the professionalism expected of hotel staff; their dedication didn't waver even after we checked out. They genuinely care about ensuring every aspect of your trip is safe and smooth.

My stay at the Crown Hotel during my Changbai Mountain trip exceeded expectations. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the North Scenic Area gate, making it an easy walk to the entrance. This was incredibly convenient for visiting the mountain, and we also got to use the scenic area's VIP green channel, saving a lot of time queuing – a real stress-reducer for our travels.
The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. Opening the window, we had a beautiful view of the forest and mountains. The entire room had ample heating, making our stay in the cold Changbai Mountain exceptionally warm and comfortable.
The hotel's biggest highlight is its direct access to the natural volcanic hot spring from Julongquan. There are over thirty indoor and outdoor pools that you can enjoy unlimited times. Soaking in the outdoor hot springs on a snowy day, with the contrast of ice and fire, melted away all our travel fatigue. The front desk and cleaning staff were warm, thoughtful, and efficient with check-in. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options.
The overall environment, surrounded by a pristine forest, is tranquil and elegant. It's perfectly suited for both family trips and leisure vacations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Changbai Mountain.
JJinli269My stay at Jinhua Resort was exceptionally pleasant overall. The hotel grounds are elegant and tranquil, with a wide variety of public leisure areas. Our dedicated butler, Haha, provided attentive service throughout, proactively assisting with everything from check-in to arranging our activities. She was always on hand to help with any issues, offering kind and thoughtful service. This level of meticulous care truly warmed our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to stay here; the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be returning to Jinhua for my next vacation.
GGuest UserThe hotel experience was great. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was superb, offering Chinese, Western, and Korean options. All the staff were very polite, and the VIP manager was exceptionally attentive, even recommending a list of local delicacies upon check-in. It's definitely worth another visit. It's also super convenient, just a short walk across a small road to the floating market, and the popular 'bullet screen' wall is only a ten-minute walk away.
