I specifically flew to Quanzhou for the local cuisine, so I picked this hotel located on a food street, without breakfast included. It's perfect for solo travelers. There's a great local vermicelli soup shop nearby, which is perfect for breakfast. While the shops on the food street mostly cater to late-night crowds, there are plenty of delicious local specialties in the surrounding blocks. It's in a bustling area with excellent transportation links, making it easy to get to attractions around Zhongshan Street. Even if you're not into sightseeing, staying at the hotel is great too – the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, the lobby on the first floor is quite striking, and the service is very thoughtful. They even let you know in advance if some rooms might be affected by noise at night. It's definitely a hotel with amazing value for money!

The hotel is right in Sanfang Qixiang, which is super convenient, and not far from the parking lot. It's also pet-friendly, and you can even bring your dog to the breakfast place across the street for a proper meal; very convenient! The daily seasonal fruit platter and exquisite snacks: The fruit and candied fruits were both excellent. Environment: The room was very spacious, and the service was friendly! The entire hotel is built in an ancient architectural style, full of character!

If you're traveling to Fuzhou, I highly recommend this guesthouse! It's located within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, very close to the main street but surprisingly quiet. The guesthouse staff are fantastic; they proactively reached out, helped us with our luggage, and even made us three special drinks that they're planning to launch, which everyone absolutely loved 😌 The guesthouse design is beautiful and great for photos, and the rooms are clean. The mung bean soup they prepared for check-in and the daily breakfasts were also incredibly delicious 😋

The hotel's location is pretty good, about a 10-minute walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. There are various small restaurants, residential areas, the famous Datong Duck Porridge, and supermarkets all within easy reach. The breakfast was simple with limited choices; though it's advertised until 10 AM, basic fruits were already gone by 9-something. Maybe it was because of the May Day holiday! What was unacceptable was the cleanliness of the room. Staying on the 6th floor, there was a strong sewage smell, the mirror looked like it hadn't been wiped in ages, the fridge wasn't working, and there was virtually no soundproofing. I could clearly hear the neighboring noisy kids every few minutes in the middle of the night, leading to a completely sleepless night.

I genuinely recommend this hotel; it was such a comfortable stay, and everything was superb! The cleanliness truly exceeded expectations – it was meticulously clean! The room was spotless, inside and out. The bedding was white and soft, with absolutely no strange odors. The bathroom was sparkling, with no dust even in the corners and crevices. Every nook and cranny was perfectly cleaned, making the stay very reassuring. This attention to detail is a huge plus. The environment was also excellent. The overall decor was simple and comfortable. Public areas were spotless, and the hallways were quiet, not noisy at all. The room had great natural light and was spacious, making it very pleasant to stay in, with no cramped feeling whatsoever. All the travel fatigue just melted away. And the service was incredibly attentive. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and all the staff members had wonderful attitudes – gentle and patient. They responded promptly to any requests, making me feel welcome and at home throughout my stay. In summary, I couldn't find a single fault with the cleanliness, environment, or service. It offers great value for money, suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Our whole family, including seniors and kids, came to Xiamen for a trip, and our stay at Yidu Chaosu was absolutely perfect! The guesthouse's location is superb; it's within walking distance to Zhongshan Road and the Eight Market, and very close to the Botanical Garden and the ferry terminal, making travel easy for both elders and children. The family suite was spacious and well-arranged. The bedding was soft and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring the kids slept soundly at night without any disturbances. The cleaning was spotless, and the amenities were comprehensive, including self-service laundry and a shared kitchen. The front desk thoughtfully provided children's toiletries and insect repellent. The rooftop terrace offered a comfortable view, and it was particularly pleasant for our family to sit and chat there in the evening. The staff were warm and attentive, offering to help with luggage and kindly recommending local delicacies. Our entire stay was comfortable and enjoyable, offering incredible value for money. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next family trip to Xiamen, truly recommending it to families with children!

My stay this trip was absolutely perfect, I genuinely recommend it! The hotel is located right in the city center, with the subway, shopping malls, and attractions all within walking distance, making sightseeing and shopping incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and efficient; they even thoughtfully upgraded my room and provided a welcome fruit platter. They were always quick to resolve any issues, which was really heartwarming. The room itself was cozy and spotless, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete with stable water pressure, and the soundproofing was excellent. Every corner of the hotel is Instagram-worthy, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip! Ambiance: Extremely comfortable Service: Staff were very attentive

I highly recommend the 6th-floor terrace rooms at this hotel! The location is clearly a major advantage, being close to all the attractions, which makes getting around super convenient. The biggest surprise was the private balcony – it's a secluded space where you won't be disturbed, thoughtfully designed, and you can even enjoy a relaxing bath there to wash away travel fatigue. The balcony offers an amazing view and fantastic lighting, making it an excellent spot for photos; every shot comes out looking great. The room itself was clean and tidy, meticulously cleaned with no hidden dirty spots, and all the amenities were neatly arranged, providing a wonderful living experience. The front desk staff were gentle and friendly, patient and attentive, making communication easy and pleasant, and the service process was simple and straightforward. From the unique room type and prime location to the cleanliness and service, everything was satisfying throughout my stay. It's a top choice for travel accommodation and has already been added to my re-booking list.

This hotel is incredibly close to the subway station – literally just across the street from Exit 6, maybe 20 meters away. Super convenient! It's right in the city center, so the area around it is really lively. There's even a fast-food place downstairs if you want a quick bite. The lady at the front desk was a little cool; it would be even better if she were friendlier. We got upgraded!

EElizabeth Frances RoseThis place makes me wish there was an option for six stars. I study Asian art for a living, and I travelled to Jianyang to visit the home of Jian ware, classic tea bowls of the Song dynasty (960 to 1279 CE), distinguished by their black and brown glazes. Over the last few decades, firing Jian ware in the Song tradition has been revived in the area. I chose Nanping Colourful Village Homestay because it was in Jianyang, affordable, and accepted international guests. What I found was a luxury resort with all the warmth and personal attention of a homestay. I asked the front desk about an excavated Song kiln site in a nearby village, and the receptionist brought me the manager, who arranged for someone to take me the next day. My driver was Ms. Huang, an employee of the resort whose job involves buying and selling contemporary pieces. She knew everything about Jian ware! The kiln site isn’t run as a tourist site, so I was only able to view it because Ms. Huang arranged for it to be opened for me. I had told them I was vegetarian, so for lunch they took me to lunch at a vegetarian buffet. Then we visited the town’s Jian ware museum, where they have exhibits on the history of tea and Jian ware, historical pieces, and the work of contemporary Jianyang potters. To my delight, Mr. Gao, the potter-in-residence at the resort, uses a Song-style wood-fired dragon kiln, built right on the grounds! His pieces that range from beautiful but quite affordable to exquisite and appropriately expensive. They include both iridescent silvery oil spot and orange-to-black hare’s fur pieces. I am still thrilled that I was able to purchase wood-fired pieces on my limited budget. For dinner, the resort’s restaurant prepared vegetarian versions of Fujian cuisine for me. The food was all delicious, featuring classic Fujianese mountain ingredients like local bamboo and mushrooms. Then we visited Mr. Gao’s dragon kiln, and later his studio, where he experiments with different local clays and glaze recipes. The rich colours and iridescence of Jian ware are the result of the iron-rich local material fired at high temperature, and the results are as unpredictable as they are beautiful. The next day, they drove me to Mr. Chen’s family tea plantation in the mountains, where they grow famous northern Fujian teas. These fine teas were all wonderful, smooth and rich with a touch of smoke, and sometimes fruity in flavour. We strolled through mountainsides of tea bushes and visited groves of centuries-old tea trees. This is a perfect place for an immersive experience in China that is also very comfortable and convenient. I often find tourist experiences in China claustrophobic due to the press of people, but the resort was spacious and airy, and they took me to places where there was no one else but us and the occasional local going about their business. Everyone was very patient with my limited Chinese language skills. They were also happy to work with translator apps on our phones, so if you don’t speak any Chinese, you will be fine. This would be a great place to come as a family. There are gardens and rides for kids right next to the resort. You can learn how to whip Song-style tea and carve your name into the base of your own Jian ware cup. Not far away is a historical theme park with a collection of real architecture from the Ming (1368 to 1644 CE) and Qing (1636 to 1912 CE) dynasties. The employees wear period dress and there are performances and activities. Nearby there are hiking trails, historical sites, and lovely villages to visit. It’s also very close to Wuyi Mountain National Park, so it would be a perfect place to stay if the mountains are your destination. If you ask, they could arrange for you to visit famous sites or take you to breathtaking places that only locals know, whatever you want. They can also arrange transport to and from the train station or airport.

Ffernanda9The room was very clean and the environment was quiet. Xiao Bai (the staff) was very nice and upgraded us to a higher room category. Before we left, they even gave our child some small seashells, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hotel breakfast was delicious, especially the Shacha noodles, which were tastier than any we'd had in the days before arriving on the island. The complimentary lunch included in the package was also very good, though the yellow croaker was a bit small, just one tiny fish. At the end of September, when tourist traffic wasn't heavy, we arrived on the island at 11 AM. The shuttle service was perfectly arranged, helping us avoid the scorching sun. We later found out that a shuttle ride on the island costs 50 RMB per person, so for our family of three, we saved a good 150 RMB. Most of the snacks on the island were just okay, but the Dayang Restaurant was quite good. If you have the time, staying on the island is definitely recommended. You can avoid the midday sun and take your kids to play by the beach in the afternoon. Strolling around the island in the evening makes this a very high-value-for-money place. Xiamen offers a resort experience similar to Sanya, yet also gives you the illusion of wandering through the streets and alleys of a small Hong Kong or Macau island.

GGuest UserAbsolutely loved my stay here! The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from the attractions, and the subway station is just a short walk away, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The front desk staff were all amazing – so gentle, patient, and polite. The room was spotlessly clean too. If I ever visit Fuzhou again, I'll definitely choose this hotel! MMuguangshangmeiOn my first night in Longyan, I stayed at the Antumanxi Hotel and was completely captivated by its modern aesthetic design! Driving? They offer complimentary parking, which was super convenient ✨. 🌟Room Highlights: The smart controls get a perfect score! 💯 With electric curtains, a smart toilet, and a voice control system, it's a lazy person's dream! My absolute favorite was the extra-large sofa, perfect for sprawling out and binge-watching shows – pure bliss! The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, and the toiletries are premium. I personally found the bedding to be incredibly comfortable and pressure-free – even fussy sleepers will drift off instantly 😴. 🍽️Breakfast Lovers, Pay Attention: They offer Longyan's local specialties like 'Bo Ji Ban' and 'Yu Zi Bao'! The freshly-made noodle soup is a must-try! Pair it with a cup of coffee to kickstart your energetic day ☀️.

AAnonymous UserI usually do not choose homestay when other modes are available. However in Yunshuiyao homestay is the only choice. Given that 1949 has to preserve the local architecture do not expect 5 star hotel facilities. For all the constraints of a ”min su” the staff do go the distance to ensure they meet the demands of guests. I checked out a happy guest and will recommend 1949 to other travelers.

MMaoxiaomao~Quanzhou West Lake Hotel boasts an excellent location right next to West Lake Park, offering great transport links. The 'Little White Car' stop right outside provides direct access to the ancient city's core. The hotel facilities are new and comprehensive, with spacious and bright rooms. Some room types even feature oversized floor-to-ceiling windows, offering expansive views of West Lake – truly a sight to behold. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, making check-in a breeze, and the intelligent robot delivery service is a convenient touch. The hotel's quiet environment makes it ideal for families or business travelers, and its high value for money makes it a fantastic choice for visiting Quanzhou.

EErererererererererererereryeOur little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent! The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!
