I really liked the amusement park. It's beautiful, well-designed, and has excellent rides. It was windy on the day we visited, and the two largest rides weren't operating due to weather conditions. Definitely worth a visit, even if you're not a thrill-seeker. The Harry Potter zone is excellent, as is the Transformers zone. Totally immersive.

Visiting the Stone Forest (Shilin) was one of the most unforgettable moments of my trip to Yunnan. This natural wonder truly lives up to its name—towering limestone formations rise dramatically from the earth, creating a landscape that feels almost otherworldly. When I went during winter, the sky was clear and the sun was shining, casting beautiful light and shadows across the stones. It made the scenery even more striking and perfect for photos. The park is neatly divided into two main areas: the Big Stone Forest and the Small Stone Forest. Both sections have their own charm. The Big Stone Forest is vast and grand, with wide pathways that feel like wandering through a stone maze. The Small Stone Forest is more intimate and quieter, offering peaceful spots for relaxed exploration.A fun and cultural highlight was the chance to rent traditional costumes right near the entrance—usually around 80–100 yuan. Wearing the outfits among the ancient rocks made for some of my favorite photos and added a deeper sense of connection to the region’s culture. In terms of timing, I found that visiting in the morning gave the best light for photography and cooler, comfortable weather for walking. The afternoon was also lovely with warmer lighting and fewer shadows. In winter, the crowds were lighter and the crisp air made hiking around the park even more enjoyable.⭐️ Overall recommendation:Stone Forest is a must-visit destination in Yunnan—breathtaking, photogenic, and rich with natural beauty. Whether you’re into landscapes, photography, or cultural experiences, this place won’t disappoint!

It's definitely worth planning a full day for an in-depth experience, including the electric shuttle bus throughout the entire area! The park is well-planned, and our guide, Xiao Zhu, is humorous and engaging. Spending a whole day slowly exploring and taking your time won't be boring at all; the overall experience is quite excellent!

When I first booked I thought there is a car / van / bus to bring my group around but upon arriving it’s just a tour guide leading u around and explaining. I mean it’s good because she brought us around and have certain priorities for the public buses (helped us snatch seats when we boarding bus) (stopped at an area where normal tourist can’t stop). Not what I expected but nonetheless I would say she have really good service and end of the day we enjoyed the tour. I was having altitude sickness and she helped me to carry my bag and took many pics of us. She also brought us to restaurants there (quite pricey) but for the experience it’s okay. (Fish was good but a lot bones) Would recommend if you don’t want to do any planning and let her bring u to the routes and everything. This doesn’t include the entrance ticket (she purchased it for me around $32 sgd off peak) then I paid her directly. Not much of a difference from trip.

A beautiful place; you can really see the dedication that goes into it. And the pandas are truly wonderful. However, the tourist information service could be improved, as there's no one to provide information, and many exhibits didn't have pandas, so we walked quite a bit for nothing. They should inform people about this at the entrance, as the place is quite large.

Do I need to enter through a different entrance to see the whole view? The place I entered was a small cultural facility for China, so I ended up paying the same amount again and climbing the mountain from a different mountain trail. It's complicated, so you should check carefully.

China Weather | Tibet (Year-round)

Annual Average Temperature: Around 8°C

Recommended Attractions: Potala Palace, Lhasa, Lake Namtso, Mount Everest
