"The location is fantastic, right in the heart of a commercial district. I'm giving an extra star for the staff because they kindly allowed us to check in early. Other than that, the room had quite a few issues. Out of six light bulbs, only one worked properly; the others constantly flickered. It was a real nuisance – too dark with them off, but annoying flickering with them on. The room door couldn't be locked from the inside and kept beeping. The refrigerator was very dirty and smelly, rendering it unusable. The wardrobe couldn't be opened, making it very difficult to store or retrieve items. The comforter had cigarette burn holes. The air conditioner's vents were broken, so it could only blow air in one direction. Contrary to what was advertised online, toiletries were not provided. If you can tolerate all these issues, then by all means, stay here. The most unacceptable issues for us were the lights and the door. The other issues were manageable, but the lights constantly flickered and the door kept beeping. We reported these problems two or three times, but nothing was done, or they simply told us they couldn't fix them."

"Stayed here for a week from the 10th September and as someone who has visited the city five plus times, this is by far the best hotel experience we have had. First and foremost we have to thank Mustafa for being such an amazing host, we went above and behind to make our stay as welcoming as possible. So we arrived from Alanya having spent a week there and having spent over £150 for the Alanya hotel, House of good things by far beat the previous hotel. We opted for the family room which gave us a sitting room with sofa bed and tv and a patio door wfich took us out to the courtyard. Huge bedroom with a very comfy bed and windows that looked out to the courtyard and the front alleyway. Kaleici is full of little winding roads and this hotel is tucked away from the main restaurants and bars but only about 1 min walk away. Room was spacious with a nice sized fridge to store your drinks. The air on was a godsend. Honestly the shower here is the best I’ve experienced as usually showers in turkey are little more than a drip but in the hotel it was a full on rain shower. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher, would only suggest they start doing breakfast as I imagine it will be better than anything else you could find locally. Will definitely be back next summer and thank you for making our stay so memorable."

Furthermore, a tram station is just meters away, and there are plenty of supermarkets and various shops nearby, making both transportation and shopping incredibly easy. The terrace is spacious and offers fantastic views. You can enjoy stunning sunsets over the Old Town and vibrant street scenes (see photos). The call to prayer from the minaret is barely noticeable and can easily be ignored. The room is large, clean, tidy, and comfortable. It's also equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a complete set of tableware, which was incredibly convenient for us to bring back our packed lunch and simply heat it up for dinner. Contrary to what some reviews suggest, the hotel's location isn't difficult to find at all. It's situated in a small alley right next to the main street. You can walk through the Burger King on the main street, and the hotel is right next to Burger King's back entrance. Plus, there are clear signs in the alley. There's a staff member at the front desk who speaks fluent English and works daily from 9 AM to 12 AM (midnight). Overall, a truly excellent experience."

"One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Even for the price it’s bad. We stayed at two hotels on our Antalya trip, both at the same price but this one is significantly worse. Dirty, everything is falling apart, horrible room design, no amenities, the wifi is non-existent I had to use cellular data the entire time. The staff are friendly and nice but it doesn’t change the fact that the product is bad. The only redeeming feature is the good location. It’s very central, in between the mall and the old town. So we can spend as much time away from the hotel as possible."

"Wanted an hotel in the center for treatments and a break. Great hotel for us, my daughter and I had a great week. The choice for buffet breakfast was amazing the staff were friendly and helpful.clean pool, towels provided, great shower, shower gel, shampoo,conditioner and hair dryer which saves packing space. The hotel booked our taxi back to the airport which was on time.Free air conditioning,fridge in room with daily stock of water. Kettle tea and coffee supplied. The only downfall was that the lifts where slow when called and limited plug sockets in our room, we always take and multi plug adapter and a light weight extension lead so wasn’t a problem for us. All in all a great place to stay if you want to be more in the centre rather than a beach holiday."

"This place works for an overnight stay before a flight, but definitely not during hot seasons! The rooms have no air conditioning and there's no elevator. The rooms are in need of renovation. Overall, it's clean, the bed is decent, and the shower and toilet are shared on the floor. It's a 300m walk to the tram station. It's central with many shops and cafes. You'll have to sleep with the window open, so bring mosquito repellent."
