LLangduozhaosheWhile the price isn't cheap, it's absolutely worth every penny. We checked in on June 21st, and the front desk even upgraded our room. The hotel environment is lovely, and there's a forest boardwalk nearby, perfect for a stroll. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Old Mountain Gate of Changbai Mountain's North Gate. It's just a stone's throw away from the entrance, allowing guests to use the North Gate VIP lane and the Tianchi shuttle VIP lane, saving a significant amount of time waiting in lines. Dining options are a bit pricey. Other than a nearby Crowne Plaza hotel, there are no other dining establishments in the vicinity. For example, an egg fried rice costs 38 RMB, pork and cabbage dumplings 48 RMB, and the taste was just mediocre. The 'Liu Rou Duan' (sautéed sliced pork) was a bit tough at 99 RMB per serving, 'Di San Xian' (stir-fried potato, eggplant, and bell pepper) was 48 RMB, and a bowl of rice was 5 RMB. Breakfast, however, was quite plentiful, offering items like noodles, tofu pudding, and more. The hot springs are great, with multiple indoor and outdoor pools, each offering different temperatures. Finally, regarding Tianchi Lake on June 22nd: After waiting all day, the fog only cleared around 4 PM, but it was well worth our day-long wait in the cold wind.

GGuest UserAn unforgettable stay, warm hospitality and perfect location! Our experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! As two foreign girls traveling on our own, I was initially a bit nervous that things might be difficult or uncomfortable but everything exceeded our expectations. We visited at the end of March for a weekend getaway, mainly to see the lake and explore the surrounding area. From the moment we arrived by train, the hotel staff went above and beyond meeting us at the station after we coordinated smoothly with them via WeChat. Their kindness and helpfulness made us feel completely at ease from the start. They were always attentive to our needs and even assisted us in booking tickets for the nearby natural park, which was incredibly helpful as I wasn’t familiar with the system. We stayed in the Cozy Queen Room, which was very spacious, clean, and well laid out. It had all the amenities we needed, and the heating worked perfectly, important since it was still a bit chilly during our stay. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk from the main street, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s also quite close to the entrance of the natural park and the reindeer park. On our first day, we walked to the reindeer park in about 30 minutes, and the walk itself was beautiful, passing by a lake with wildlife. On our second day, we headed out early to visit the natural park, and the hotel staff kindly arranged a taxi for us since it was so early in the morning. I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough,it was a flawless experience from beginning to end. We’re incredibly grateful to the staff for treating us with such warmth and care. I would absolutely return in the future!

This was incredibly convenient for washing our hiking and hot spring clothes promptly – a fantastic perk! Our hotel butler contacted us a day beforehand to assist with itinerary planning. Even when butlers changed shifts, they consistently communicated this and proactively checked if we had any new requests. Upon departure, the butler even presented us with a small gift, thoughtfully expressing concern we might be disappointed if we hadn't been able to see Heaven Lake. The emotional value provided was incredible – we felt truly valued and cared for! We're already thinking of returning in winter!

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious and had a pleasant, fresh smell. The pillows were too soft for my preference, but everything else was great. The hairdryer was pretty standard, but it worked fine. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The staff service was also very warm and welcoming. The slippers provided were incredibly comfortable – soft and thick. You can arrange for a pickup service from the station/airport directly with the hotel.

Ww-31comA fairly standard hotel. It's a bit of a distance from the main transport hub, so it's quiet but lacks vibrancy. There's an eatery not far behind the hotel that serves fantastic fish. The place was clean, and the breakfast selection was quite good. However, the room was small, the window view was obstructed, and the price wasn't low, leading to poor value for money. Downstairs, there are local specialty stores and a supermarket, making it convenient for basic shopping. For a proper shopping mall, you'll need to drive to the town center.

GGuest UserA surprisingly pleasant stay. The hotel arranged a pick-up service, and our driver was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He immediately shared tips on local must-visit spots and dining options on the nearby street, even giving a brief introduction to the unique features of Changbai Mountain. The legendary hospitality of Northeasterners was immediately evident! The hydrangeas lining the streets were absolutely gorgeous, adorning the entire block, truly brightening my mood. The front desk attendant was lovely. The absolute best part is how incredibly safe the area feels. With the Public Security Bureau, a military administrative zone, and the City Procuratorate all nearby, solo female travelers can feel completely at ease. It's also very close to the North Slope shuttle center; I just walked there. Visiting during the off-peak season this time of year allowed me to fully experience the beautiful golden autumn of Changbai Mountain in September. The weather was perfect, neither too cold nor too hot, and I got to admire the stunning beauty of Tianchi Lake.

GGuest UserWhile the room wasn't large, it was beautifully designed. While the loft layout might be a little inconvenient for older guests, the children were delighted. The hotel's biggest advantage, of course, was the VIP access, but that's not all. In the early morning, the forest was covered in misty rain, the pines dripped with verdant green, and there were clusters of lovely mushrooms. I was even lucky enough to spot wild Ganoderma lucidum. In the evening, the outdoor baths, steaming from the freshly refreshed spring water, surrounded by lush pines, the sunset glow drifted, and birds chirped. Washing away fatigue with the Changbai Mountain springs was a true paradise on earth. Even in the evening, a clever little fox came to interact with tourists, begging for food and acting cute. It wasn't just the environment that was lovely. The front desk staff, Xiao Wang, and the driver, Xiao Du, enthusiastically helped me with travel arrangements and found lost items. Customer service representative, Mr. Xu, took me on a forest adventure. And the bathhouse attendants offered to help dry my swimsuit. I'm grateful for their dedication, which made this trip to Changbai Mountain unforgettable. I hope to see you again!

The Room : very clean and many room style to choose like Chinese or Japanese or normal. 2. The location : is very near town just only 5mins Near Changbaishan railway station just only 5mins Close to Scenic deer park and riding floating river 3. Sevice: excellent. The boss is very caring us. He took us from station to the hotel and back to station for FREE. He help us a lot to buy Mountain ticket, booking car, and bus to Xuexiang. 4. Hotel also Free Breakfast with delicious food. The kitchen service is great. They are kind and outgoing. 😍 Thank you hotel boss for everything. We will recommend your hotel to our relatives and friends. And we will come back to see again in Changbaishan. 🙏

The thermal area is very nice and wide, though it gets very busy during the evening and there are many kids running and screaming around for who there is a dedicated area but they are not delimited to it. I understand it is a place for families but it would be better if specific areas, for example hot pools (above 40 degrees) and saunas were off limits for kids. The service staff doesn’t speak English but through specific devices and translation apps we were able to communicate. I contacted the property months in advance via Trip.com to ask if they could support me in purchasing the tickets for the Tianchi Lake or find a way to reserve/book them for me since the online reservation website is in Chinese and accessible by locals only. When I got there they told me the tickets were sold out and they were not able to get them for me and didn’t even know if it was possible to purchase them at the location. I understand this matter may be out of their hands but I’d expect the best hotel in the area to have a direct contact with the ticket office and a priority line for its customers (especially foreigners considering the inaccessibility to the online reservation page)

She is always smiling, polite, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beginning, she warmly escorted us to our room and took the time to explain all the hotel amenities in detail. Her thoughtfulness did not stop there. She proactively connected with me on WeChat to ensure quick responses to any requests we had. The next morning, she personally reminded us about breakfast and even offered to come to our room to guide us to the restaurant. Her dedication was evident as she stayed until we were seated comfortably in the buffet area. Even after checkout, her exceptional service continued. She presented us with lovely hotel gifts and waited with us until our taxi arrived, ensuring a smooth departure. Chen Yuanyuan’s service attitude is truly commendable.
