"Everything was great from the first second! The staff is polite and friendly: we had a lot of questions and they helped us all the time, what is really good for foreigners. The room was not so big, but it's nice: clean bright, comfortable and really calm. So, if you have some problems with sleeping, don't worry: you will sleep like a baby. By the way: the hotel has a good location, which is important if you don't have enough time (one day or some hours). So, if you are looking a good place to stay, you have found it. I think we'll come back here next time"

"We chose Beijing for our high school graduation trip, and stayed at this hotel for five nights out of our six-day journey. Since it was before the peak summer season, the price was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was very smooth! The hotel's hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. I didn't experience any skin discomfort during our five-night stay (though this can vary for different people). The robot delivery for takeout was prompt and convenient; no need to go downstairs. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. It wasn't just generic pre-made food; the dishes were fresh. We stayed in a twin room. The room had good natural light, and the window size was appropriate. Some rooms seemed to face office buildings, while others faced the road, but overall it was quiet. The air conditioning made a slight noise, but it didn't significantly affect our sleep. The laundry room on the second floor was well-equipped with washing, drying, and steam ironing facilities. You could do it yourself or leave your laundry card for staff to assist. Also, we requested room cleaning every day after we left. Coming back in the evening to a tidy room was a pleasant feeling, and they never moved our luggage around. Issues were resolved promptly. One evening, our key card wouldn't open the door, and someone came upstairs to fix it very quickly. Additionally, opposite the front desk on the first floor, there's a coffee machine, ice dispenser, small fridge, and lemon water, all with disposable cups provided – very convenient. There are many shopping malls near the hotel. Across the street is a 24-hour Lawson convenience store. A bit further is a mall called 'Saite +' (赛特+), which isn't huge but has everything you need, making it quite practical for daily life. If you don't want to go too far but want to eat at a restaurant, you can check the food establishments on the map in advance. The subway is about 600 meters away, I think? There's a shared bike parking spot right downstairs, so you can cycle if you don't want to walk. Plus, the subway is Line 1, which makes it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Mixue Bingcheng (蜜雪冰城) nearby~ For taxis, the pick-up point is directly at the hotel entrance, so it's easy to find."

Hotel near Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The hotel is located in the Longfu Temple Cultural and Creative Park, surrounded by many traditional Beijing hutongs. Particularly to the north is the Qianliang Hutong, which has a history of seven hundred years. The name "Qianliang" (meaning "money and grain") symbolizes prosperity and nourishment, and it has cultivated a rich atmosphere of old Beijing charm. Drawing inspiration from the texture of the hutongs, the hotel has meticulously designed its guest rooms into five distinct Beijing-style spaces. These spaces coexist and integrate harmoniously with the cultural landmark of Longfu Temple, creating a compound experience that combines art, culture, and travel, available around the clock.

"Half the joy of my trip to Beijing came from this hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic, so close to all the attractions. The ambiance in the hutong is incredibly comfortable, making me feel instantly integrated into the old Beijing lifestyle. Most importantly, the stay itself was superb; I slept really well, the bedding was high-quality, and the cleanliness was excellent. The hotel's decor was even more amazing – it really reminded me of the ACE hotels we stayed at in Sydney and New York, with top-notch design and decor quality."

"My stay here far exceeded expectations, definitely a full five-star review. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around by taxi or exploring the shopping areas. The spacious parking lot out front was a huge plus for those driving. The lobby decor is simple yet elegant, with greenery and soft lighting that instantly helped me unwind after my journey. The air was fresh and free of any odd smells. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and polite. Check-in was quick and efficient, and they proactively offered recommendations for local attractions and even thoughtfully provided complimentary bottled water. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors, windowsills, and bathroom were spotless, with no dust or hair. The vanity was dry and free of water stains. The bedding was soft and fluffy, and the mattress offered just the right amount of firmness for a peaceful, undisturbed night's sleep. All the lights and curtains were smartly controlled, the bathroom water pressure was consistent, and the toiletries were of good quality. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for both work and streaming. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western pastries, hot porridge, freshly cooked noodles, and fresh fruits. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were light. The cleaning staff tidied up daily at set times, and any requests to the front desk were met with a quick response. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, suitable for both leisure travelers and business trips. I've already recommended it to my colleagues and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area."

I stayed here during my trip to Beijing and really liked it. The subway station is super close, and there are two malls nearby, super convenient. Also very easy to get to tourist attractions like National Art Museum, Beihai Park and Nanluoguxiang. Breakfast was the best part. Lots of choices and pretty healthy too. I would consider staying here again next time I’m in Beijing.

A perfect trip to Beijing, a warm haven hidden in Nanluoguxiang. This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the bustling Nanluoguxiang, yet it's wonderfully secluded from the outside noise within its traditional courtyard. The moment you step through the gate, your mind just calms down. The service at the hotel was absolutely exceptional. From the welcome drinks and exquisite snacks upon arrival to the ceremonious afternoon tea, everything showcased their commitment to quality. It happened to be my daughter's birthday during our stay, and the surprise the hotel prepared for us is something our entire family will never forget. They were incredibly generous and thoughtfully prepared a beautiful, high-quality birthday cake, and even cooked traditional longevity noodles for our whole family. This kind of homely warmth is something you just can't experience in a cold, standardized large hotel. The hotel also thoughtfully considered the common pain points for international or overseas visitors. Not only did they offer free laundry service, but they also proactively provided a local phone for us to order takeout, making our entire trip smooth and worry-free. This wasn't just a brief stopover; it was a warm memory of Beijing. Both the facilities and the soft services at this boutique hotel demonstrated incredible sincerity. I highly recommend it to every traveler seeking quality and warmth.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, surrounded by luxury shops, making it very convenient to get around. The Mandarin Oriental's attention to detail is superb. The understated luxury and 'old money' vibe are precisely my style. The vanity room is spacious, and they prepared welcome fruits and snacks, a bottle of red wine, and even pear soup, along with a beautifully written welcome letter. It truly made me feel right at home. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and à la carte, with fresh, organic ingredients and amazing flavors. I even had breakfast alongside the Russian ambassador at the next table! Sipping a coffee with a Forbidden City latte art design on the large terrace overlooking the Forbidden City, I truly experienced a taste of royal life. So happy! 😃

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. The room was large and clean. Both the front desk and the cleaning lady were very enthusiastic and helpful. There was unlimited drinking water in the room. The service was very thoughtful. Next time I have the chance to come to Beijing, this will be my first choice!

After comparing several hotels in the same price range, I chose Zǐlóng Gardens. I'd also looked at their usual rates, and it seemed a bit pricier then, but booking it in advance for a holiday trip was definitely a steal. **Stay:** For the same price, other places offer rooms under 30 square meters, but Zǐlóng Gardens gives you 50 square meters. It's nestled in a hutong, offering a quiet escape in the midst of the bustling city. It's actually the former residence of Prince Taò, who was an advisor to the People's Liberation Army's equestrian administration. We opted for the family room, which even had a small balcony with a view. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, so washing up wasn't cramped at all. **Food:** The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks (mineral water, Coke, Sprite, beer), and they'd replenish it anytime. Although the restaurant isn't huge, the food is incredibly fresh, with different dishes every day. I initially thought breakfast wasn't included, but it turned out to be free! From 11 AM to 11 PM, they offer afternoon tea with chef-prepared dishes like wontons and Zhajiangmian, all completely free of charge. You can even take fruit back to your room. The 'Sìyuè Hétún' restaurant on the first floor also had good prices and flavors; no reservations needed for their fugu or roast duck. **Getting Around:** It's very close to Nanluoguxiang, the National Art Museum of China, Wangfujing, and Longfu Temple. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk, but I mostly used taxis, which made getting around super convenient. **Service:** The hotel staff's service was impeccable. Finally, although check-out was officially at 12 PM, they were fine with us leaving at 2 PM, and even gave us a farewell gift. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Our 5-day, 4-night trip during Chinese New Year was a fantastic family experience and definitely enhanced our vacation.

First time in Beijing Yizhuang, and I just randomly picked the Echeng Hotel, but what a pleasant surprise! When I stay at a hotel, cleanliness is my top priority, and this place absolutely nailed it. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors were sparkling, the desk spotless, and the bathroom tiles and toilet rim were perfectly clean, with not a single water mark or stain. The bedding looked incredibly comfortable, the duvet was soft, and the sheets and duvet cover were crisp and dry – I felt instantly relaxed lying down. The front desk lady was super nice, spoke very gently, and checked me in quickly. She was patient and helpful with all my questions. The room facilities were all very new; the air conditioning, lights, and outlets worked perfectly, and hot water was instant and at a perfect temperature. The internet speed was stable and perfectly fine for daily use. Eating out is also convenient, with small shops downstairs and within walking distance. This is my first time in Beijing, and I'm so glad I found such a satisfying hotel. I truly recommend it!

COMMUNE BY THE GREAT WALL , IN THE UNBOUND COLLECTION BY HYATT

9.2/10
Very Good

Finally checked into the Commune by the Great Wall, a Hyatt Centric property – specifically, the Bamboo House. This stay completely exceeded my expectations, so I'm sharing an honest review for anyone considering a visit. The exterior features tightly packed natural bamboo poles, complemented by a black sloping roof. Walking along the forest path, you can see the building softly blending into the mountains and woods from a distance, without appearing out of place at all. The most stunning feature is the independent outdoor bamboo tea room. Bamboo columns enclose a semi-transparent space with white sand covering the ground. Through the bamboo gaps, you can gaze at the mountains and forest. Sitting quietly and enjoying tea here creates an incredibly atmospheric experience, perfect for photos. The public areas boast large floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the green trees outside like natural landscape paintings. During the day, light and shadows filter into the rooms through the bamboo poles, creating ever-changing scenery. Practical Tips for Your Stay: 1. The room offers excellent privacy. It's a standalone building surrounded by dense trees, away from the hustle and bustle of public areas. It's ideal for those seeking quiet relaxation, couples on a getaway, or small gatherings of friends. 2. The building materials are natural bamboo, so there's a natural bamboo and wood scent. If you're sensitive to slight color variations or textures in natural materials, please be aware of this beforehand. The gaps in the bamboo create a soft, translucent feel; if you require ultimate privacy, simply pull down the indoor blackout blinds. 3. The hotel is located in a valley, so the temperature difference between morning/evening and daytime is greater than in the city. Remember to bring a light jacket if you plan to sit in the outdoor tea room in the evening. 4. The resort grounds are very large. I recommend driving in, as walking to and from the restaurant can be quite far. For dining, you can choose the hotel's restaurant or bring your own snacks and enjoy them in the outdoor tea room. Areas for Improvement: When I checked in, the room had just been cleaned, and there was still water on the floor, suggesting a rushed and less-than-thorough cleaning. The 'Old Beijing style' afternoon tea, which looked great for photos in the lobby, consisted of pre-bought items of generally mediocre quality.

I have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.
