The apartment is very clean, it's been cleaned every day. Bed is comfortable and bedroom is quiet. Living room is beautiful. The owner is friendly, helpful and hard working woman. Location is near railway station and there is a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. Thank you for hosting me!

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Kunming; I'm a loyal customer. This time, the male staff member at the front desk provided excellent service – he was enthusiastic, attentive, and very patient. He proactively helped me switch to a more suitable room, considering my needs, and made the check-in process efficient and thoughtful, which made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the overall service and environment are impeccable. It offers great value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Also, I discovered the coffee at the entrance is quite good.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I was quite hesitant before choosing it, especially after reading about the negative elevator incident, which made me really worry about safety. So, every time I took the elevator during my stay, I was on edge. The main reason I decided to stay was for the hot springs and swimming pool, as it's been raining a lot in Kunming recently, and I figured we'd just enjoy the hotel. Honestly, I wasn't particularly impressed with the service, and the facilities are quite old, very old. If it weren't for the constant rain and traveling with a child, I probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel. Especially after visiting Fuxian Lake, the comparison really highlighted its shortcomings.

This is our second time staying at this hotel in Kunming, and both times we've chosen it for my elderly parents. It's incredibly convenient for visiting Dianchi Lake, and it's been recently renovated, looking even better than before with a charming, antique feel. It's very photogenic! The owner, front desk staff, and concierge were all incredibly helpful. The first room wasn't quite comfortable, so they immediately moved us to another. My parents have trouble sleeping, and they were very accommodating, switching us to a twin room. The owner even turned out to be from the same hometown as us and kindly offered free tea. We felt very at ease during our three-day stay. It's also convenient for visiting Shilin (Stone Forest). I highly recommend staying here for your travels.

My honest review of my stay at the Orange Crystal Hotel (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street): 1. **Convenient Location, but Very Unfriendly for Self-Driving/Chartered Cars** The hotel's location is indeed very convenient, close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, making it easy to get around and shop. However, since vehicles cannot directly enter the pedestrian street, it's extremely inconvenient for guests with large luggage. While the hotel has an underground parking lot, chartered 7-seater vehicles like ours generally cannot drive directly into it. We had to get off a short distance from the hotel and drag all our luggage there. If you're a foreign tourist or traveling by chartered car, I recommend confirming whether your vehicle can directly reach the hotel before booking. 2. **Good Service Attitude, but Overall Slow Response Time** The hotel staff generally have a friendly attitude. I particularly want to thank a few female staff members who helped us carry our heavy luggage down the stairs to where our chartered car could park – I'm truly grateful. However, the hotel's response time for guest requests for item delivery or assistance was noticeably slow, with generally long waiting times. I'm not sure if it was due to understaffing at the time, but I believe the stay experience would be significantly improved if they could strengthen staff allocation and response efficiency. 3. **”Four-Star Hotel” vs. Actual Experience – A Significant Discrepancy** This was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. The hotel is labeled as four-star, but if you expect it to meet the standards of a typical four-star hotel, there's a noticeable gap in the overall facilities and environment. The rooms, corridors, and some public areas appear quite dated, and there's a somewhat strong musty smell in the hotel. Although the hotel information states that it has been renovated in recent years, you can still feel the traces of many old facilities during your actual stay. Plus, the room rate isn't cheap. So, if you're choosing based on **”four-star hotel standards,”** my friends and I would both advise lowering your expectations a bit, otherwise, you might experience significant disappointment upon arrival. **Overall:** Location is the hotel's biggest advantage, and the staff's attitude is good, but there's room for improvement in terms of transportation convenience, service response speed, and the overall condition of the hotel facilities. Especially for foreign tourists, those with large luggage, or travelers with chartered cars, I recommend confirming the actual drop-off/pick-up situation and luggage handling before booking.

It's rare to find a hotel that truly feels like a home away from home, but Bolian Hot Spring Resort certainly does! First, let's talk about the service. We stayed during the off-season, so there weren't many staff around, but you could still feel the warmth and professionalism from everyone, from our butler Dashi to the restaurant, hot springs, and front desk staff. The front desk staff even multi-tasked, making us tea and driving us to our room. Their professional training was evident throughout our stay. Even though the hotel has been open for twenty years, it doesn't feel old or dated at all. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, and the hot springs are fantastic. The courtyard in our room was breathtakingly beautiful. To our pleasant surprise, the restaurant's food was delicious, with excellent Yunnan cuisine. We will definitely be back again. The hotel also provided complimentary executive car airport transfers and vouchers that could be used for dining or spa services at the hotel, which was a very nice touch.

The location is fantastic, right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was tidy. The biggest surprise was the amazing atmosphere in the common areas, with a terrace, bar, and restaurant – perfect for chatting with travelers from all over the world in the evening. The staff were super friendly and patiently helped resolve any issues. It's highly recommended for backpackers, solo travelers, and small study groups. Great value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Kunming!

The hotel's location is super convenient, being right in the city center is definitely a plus and makes everything so easy. There are plenty of amenities nearby, and Kunming Old Street is just a short walk away – it's really lively there. Gin at the front desk was incredibly helpful and flexible. I needed to print two pages and was looking for a print shop, but he just printed them for me directly. Highly recommend this place!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 26 Life hotel thank to the staffs and its location. What we like most here: 1. Staff: Xiao Bai and Xiao Wan, the 2 receptionists are lovely guys. Xiao Bai pick us up outside of the buiding to help us with the luggage. He is also professional in handling his work. he seems a bit serious on his face but once you know him, he is a nice guy. Xiao Wan is a lovely young boy. We talked a lot, he made us yummy milk tea, bought for us ice crea, fruit tea....and gave us some sourvenir. They are the ones made my stay here. Thank you guys! Moreover the hotel staffs also helped to received a package for me before my check in. 2. Location: it locates on the 4th floor of a building. It has a good location, where we can access easily to the shopping mall, the food stores. There is a small food court on the ground floor of the same building. The 1st store after the stair case once you enter the building sells pretty good noodles. 3. The balcony: my room is 201, with a balcony overlooking the garden on the ground and an open space to the big building in front, which gave us a peaceful corner to sit and talk and enjoy the nice spring weather. 4. The costume: the hotel offers free Miao costume to wear and take photo inside the hotel. Xiao Wan, the receptionist also help to take soem nice photos for us. What should be improved: 1. The cleanliness: the room facilities were a bit old but the cleanliness is definitely something can be changed and improved: like the table in the balcony, which should have been clean the surface. 2. The amenities: the big bath towels are torn out at the 2 edges. They can be reused as footmat or rag to recycle. New bath towel should be seriously considered. 3. The TV: A slow internet connection is causing the TV to stutter and lag, making it impossible to watch.making it not enjoyable to watch.
