Hotel near People's Square,Shanghai
The Park Hotel Shanghai (Shanghai Guoji Fandian) is located in the heart of Shanghai, within walking distance of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, People's Square and the Shanghai Metro. This Shanghai hotel features a range of guestrooms and suites, all of which have central air-conditioning, satellite TVs, mini-fridges, mini-bars and safety deposit boxes. The hotel's houses a large function hall and three meeting rooms which are equipped with audio-visual equipment and projectors. The restaurants and lobby bar within the hotel serve a variety of Chinese and international dishes.

"Staying in a living history museum. The International Hotel, once the tallest building in the Far East, lets you experience the bustling Shanghai of 1934. This nearly century-old building even has its own historical and cultural museum. The bustling Bund, then known as the 'Ten-Mile Foreign Concession,' was once graced by the presence of many historical figures. Chen Yi, Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Charlie Chaplin, Mei Lanfang, Soong Mei-ling, Zhang Xueliang, and Claire Lee Chennault all dined or stayed here. It's like reading half of modern Chinese history, piece by piece. The front desk staff are incredibly professional. The gentleman with glasses spoke such pure and fluent English that my child treated him like a textbook! The standard room was clean and tidy, and the indoor air quality was what I was most satisfied with. The bathroom retained its old Shanghai style – spacious and bright. When choosing a hotel, you really can't go wrong with an established, historic one!"

"The only downside: The facilities are indeed a bit old, lacking modern amenities like smart toilets. Pros: Great location! I personally feel it's even better than the Heping location. The Stock Exchange Museum and the World Living Room are within walking distance. Excellent service! Especially the photography studio on the second floor of the hotel, the photographer's skills are great, and the prices are reasonable. There's also the elderly master who gave us a history tour of the hotel, speaking for over an hour from the 16th-floor platform down to the lobby – the讲解 was fantastic! Even after we'd arrived home, the front desk called to ask if we had forgotten some toiletries. The service is definitely five-star! The executive floor and front desk staff were also very welcoming and promptly resolved any issues we had!"
