"The front desk at this five-star hotel completely messed us around!
After checking in and getting to our room, I eagerly opened the curtains, only to find there were no pandas 🐼 anywhere in sight. I immediately called to ask where my promised panda view was!
The staff member replied that they would transfer me to the person in charge and asked me to wait. After waiting for a while with no callback, I went directly to the front desk to speak with the staff who had checked me in. They informed me that there were no panda view rooms available. I insisted that I had specifically booked a panda room, and my reservation was confirmed successfully. I argued that if a room is successfully booked, it should be allocated to me, and if there truly were no such rooms, it shouldn't have been available for booking in the first place. My booking confirmation meant a panda room was reserved for me. (I was very upset and firm in my stance). They tried to suggest it might be because I had previously requested three adjacent rooms and smoking rooms, which I quickly clarified I was willing to forgo, but the panda view room was non-negotiable. Still, they kept repeating that there were no rooms!
Then another staff member came over to ask what the problem was, and I repeated my entire story. This staff member, seemingly trying to be helpful, suggested that the elevator lobby windows offered a view of the pandas, and I could go there if I wanted to take photos! Are you kidding me?! The whole point was to see the pandas from *my room* 🐼, and you're telling me to go to the elevator lobby? I vehemently disagreed and, extremely angry, told him that he absolutely had to give me a panda room today (raising my voice significantly). 😡
Eventually, they finally gave me a panda 🐼 room, and without any further wait! (smiley face emoji) What kind of game were they playing? Why couldn't they just assign it to me from the beginning instead of making me jump through hoops and argue? (They had told me twice in between that there really were no rooms).
The facilities were just okay – they seem to have been renovated, but I hope they can improve the bathrooms."

"Reminds me of the historical past when I entered the hotel. The place is really convenient as it is within Wenshu Yuan, one of the places of interest. The place itself showcases the essence of Sichuan culture. The only setback is that it has no lift. But the staff was helpful to carry the luggage to our room for us. Especially thankful for paying attention to our check out time which is 6am early in the morning to help us carry our luggage down. It is a place worth staying if you want to experience the life in an ancient city."

"Hotel locations is very good. We can walk to IFS building and Taikooli areas witin less than 10mins. You can enjoy shopping, eating there. The bus to Tianfu airport is in front of IFS so it is very convenient to walk with your luggage to the bus stop. Staff is very nice and supportive. I stay at the hotel for 3 nights as a base during going the national parks. You can keep the luggage at the hotel while you are going to Bipengou, Siguniangshan , etc. this time i got 6th floor which in the room there are no steps. There are about 3 steps (between bed areas and bathroom)in the room i got first 2 nights which i a bit worry at night."

"It was my first time in Chengdu, and after comparing different options, I decided on this hotel – and I'm so glad I did! I instantly fell in love. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out to Manager Jessica – her service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. When I checked in, I had a small issue, and not only did she promptly resolve it, but she also paid close attention to numerous details. For instance, she made sure to mention that the higher floors offer better views. Her attentiveness was truly impressive and really touched me.
The room itself was also a wonderful surprise. The high-floor view was absolutely breathtaking; opening the window, I could catch a glimpse of the vibrant Taikoo Li. Enjoying the views by day and the city lights by night was incredibly pleasant.
The hotel's location is also fantastic. It was incredibly convenient for getting around, whether grabbing a taxi or exploring the nearby shopping areas – absolutely effortless.
My stay was incredibly comfortable and pleasant, all thanks to the thoughtful efforts of Jessica and the entire staff. I will definitely be back here on my next visit to Chengdu!"

"The hotel excels in both its facilities and service. The service, in particular, was exceptional. When our child wasn't feeling well, they kindly arranged a late check-out for us. Then, caught in heavy traffic on our way back from Sanxingdui, they were incredibly accommodating and extended it by another half hour. Their thoughtfulness truly made a difference. The Sichuan opera performance, booked through the hotel, was also fantastic and offered excellent value for money. As for breakfast, the 'xiaomian' (small noodles) were absolutely incredible – one bowl wasn't enough for anyone, and the toppings were even better than those found at local eateries. All in all, we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Chengdu."

LLiJian93The service in this hotel is seriously exceptional. I would confidently says this is the best service I ever experience in all my hotel stays even to reknown 5 stars hotel. It makes me feel super homely and welcome whenever I enter the premise. I would first like to sincerely thanks every single staff that I have met during my stay, and I seriously meant everyone from the front desk especially 小灵 and 小岚, other ground staff which i didn't manage to get their name, the manager (I assume she is higher ranking as she is wearing a black suit, but i didnt get her name), restaurant staff, night staff and housekeeping. 谢谢.
Some example of the excellent service I experienced:-
1. When we first arrived, this is actually our last hotel in Chengdu before our 12 days holiday ends, which means we actually have a lot of bags and heavy luggages. When our car drove in, the staff immediately came and assist us with unloading our luggages to the lobby. This is a first to us compared to all the hotel we have stays in the past few days. That was seriously a good start giving me a full confidence to the stay.
2. Check in was super smooth and explanation was good. Even inform me regarding the wechat service if I ever have any queries, I can reach them there (reply was super duper fast and action was promptly taken too during my queries 🙏).
3. The ground staff even helps us with the luggage right after check in and show us around the hotel while showing us the way to our room after I feel a little loss asking which direction should I go for the room.
4. Housekeeping was good too. Room is super duper clean and everything was in place! even help me place a temporary curtain cover when I mention about the privacy of a small window, asking if it is able to be covered and she immediately came over and solve it for me.
5. One night when I came back quite late which I decided to take a cab. When I came out from the cab with a huge bag, a senior male staff who was holding a water hose cleaning the surrounding floor saw me. He immediately stop the water and came over rushing offring to help me. I was seriously touched by this action too. Thank you.
6. Checking out was the same too. All their services are really consistent with all their staff.
There is just so many more to mentioned but I will leave it at that.
As for the room, it is super duper comfy too and exactly as mentioned! I had a super good rest after all the past days exploring and I feel recharge. The bed is comfy, aircon is very cold, shower pressure is really strong and the toilet has smart control + bidet. This makes the Malaysian in me super happy. The room is smart control too, meaning you can voice command to control the curtain and lighting or even the air conditioning.
Breakfast was good too. Variety may not be as many as my other hotel but the taste is good. And the afternoon snack is a good touch too that I am thankful.
Free self service laundry room is provided as well for those who needs to wash clothes and has dryer too. Detergent is provided 💕.
Location wise is good too. Surrounded by food just right across the street and a train station just 5 mins walk away.
There maybe some short fall like the lack of dry storage in the shower area as the design is dry wet type of bathroom but I think this is a small matter and the service makes up for everything.
I highly recommend it to others and will be back to stay in the future if i ever come to chengdu. 100% my first choice now.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a great ambiance and is conveniently located near Metro Line 6. The night view from the hotel is beautiful, and it's also very close to 339. If you enjoy clubbing at 339, you should definitely consider staying here. I stayed here to meet my girlfriend, and we had a truly delightful experience. I must say, their service is truly excellent; they really know how to make guests feel incredibly valued and happy. As soon as they saw there were two of us checking in, they thoughtfully inquired about our booking and kindly arranged a larger room for us. That was a really impressive gesture. In the afternoon, they even brought us a complimentary fruit platter. I feel like this level of thoughtful service is unique to Chengdu; back in Sanya, everything is completely self-service! All in all, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it!

GGuest UserGood location. A short walking distance to the shopping area. There are hawkers selling local food at the entrance at night and it is very nice. I like the fried noodle and fried rice. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I love the laundry service. There is a lady who will politely help you with your laundry and will pack nicely after it is done.😁The breakfast is great with varieties.The hotel also provide either free tea or ice cream. 👍 Overall, it is a great hotel and ai highly recommend it.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

AanemalGreat hotel in the center of Chengdu. The highlight is for sure the view of the Anshun Bridge and a tea drinking station by the window to appreciate it, as well as a little balcony. You almost don't want to go out of your room but stay in instead.
The bed is very very comfortable and the room is very clean. The whole ambience of the hotel, from the lobby to the corridor and the room is very soothing, feels like a spa.
The staff is very helpful and speaks great English, which makes the experience easier for foreigners as well.
The only downside would be that the hotel is located across the river from a clubbing area, which makes some sound at night. But this is of course outside of the hotel's control. If you are a light sleeper, there are already earplugs provided by the bed, so the staff thought of it as well.
Overall a great place to stay in Chengdu.

MMeng HengI didn't expect to get an accommodation with such a good price. Service staff is professional, polite and helpful. The room is high-tech with a voice activated control. Room is clean with all the needed appliances for a traveler. Housekeeping is done right with all tidy up and cleaned. There is also a mini-gym and a laundry room. I would expect all these facilities in a 4-star hotel.
Location is excellent! It is near Chunxi Road within walking distance of about 10mins. Nearby there are also several eateries. If you like to explore a local wet market, there is one right behind the hotel where you can witness how the locals do their groceries shopping in the morning. Behind the hotel, it is actually a seafood street where shops sell all the live seafood - go take a look, interesting!
For supper, if you do not mind street food, there is a stall selling Sichuan local dishes like noodles, dumpings, etc. It is operated by a young couple - they set up their stall from 10pm onwards until 6am next morning.
Kudos to the management. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Chengdu!

__WeChat274480****You definitely get what you pay for, and I absolutely loved it! 🤩 If you have the budget, don't even think twice – just book this place! The staff are all incredibly friendly and, impressively, they all speak English. Daily breakfast and coffee are included, and staying for two days was absolutely wonderful. I would genuinely stay here every day if I weren't so short on cash and out of loyalty points! 😭 The courtyard is incredibly comfortable for relaxing, and even a sudden evening rain made for a cozy atmosphere. Wenshu Monastery is also just a short walk away, which is super convenient!
