Hotels near Emirates Towers, Dubai

Everything was good overall. This was my second stay here, but it didn’t match the experience of my first visit. The room shown in the photos featured an open bathtub, but the one I received had it closed off. I was informed this was due to renovation, but the finishing quality was not up to standard. While the stay was generally comfortable, the difference in the room provided and the poor quality of the renovation work were disappointing, especially for a star-rated hotel.

Millennium Plaza Downtown Hotel is in a really convenient spot right in the heart of Dubai, directly opposite the Museum of the Future. It’s also a short drive from Dubai International Airport, and the area around the hotel is packed with choices, restaurants, fast food, cafes, and small marts all along the same stretch, so grabbing a meal or essentials is easy. The rooms and furnishings feel a bit dated for a five-star property, but the service makes up for it. The staff are friendly, helpful, and quick to assist, which makes the stay smooth and comfortable overall.

The hotel is new and modern; however, my stay was severely affected by multiple room defects and poor service handling. The hair dryer in the bathroom was defective, with the cover broken. When I reported this, the engineer came but was unable to fix it and advised me to hold the exposed wire while using the hair dryer, which is a serious safety hazard and i got shock once. Additionally, the room phone was intermittently not working and could only be used on loudspeaker. As a result, I had to walk down to the lobby every time I needed assistance, which was extremely inconvenient. The complimentary shuttle bus service was also poorly managed. The concierge staff emphasized that the shuttle was “not under their control” and that any issues were not their responsibility. I was told to wait and that an announcement would be made when the bus arrived. I ended up waiting for more than 50 minutes, with no announcement and no staff present to assist. There was no communication or support provided at all. Overall, while the property looks new, the lack of maintenance, safety concerns, and poor service coordination made this stay unacceptable. Will not book with them again.

Last Christmas, our family of four (with kids aged 8 and 5) stayed for 5 nights in a two-bedroom suite. Our overall rating is 4.5/5, and we highly recommend it for families with children! **Amazing Location** Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, directly opposite the Museum of the Future, it's a 5-minute walk to the metro. The Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are just a 10-15 minute drive away. During Christmas, we easily enjoyed the light shows, fountains, and the big Christmas tree, and could still admire the city's festive lights from the hotel at night. **Comfortable and Practical Suite** Spacious, with a separate living room and a small kitchen (great for simple self-catering). Both bedrooms had large beds, giving the kids their own space. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the view of the Museum of the Future from the window was superb (especially stunning when lit up at night). Though the decor is a bit dated, it didn't detract from the experience. **Facility Highlights** The pool is on the smaller side but offers great views. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and the service was friendly. The lobby had abundant Christmas decorations, creating a warm atmosphere. **Minor Drawbacks** Some in-room facilities felt a bit old. Breakfast during peak hours could get crowded, so arriving early is recommended. The surrounding commercial area gets busy with traffic during the day, so choosing a higher floor would be quieter. **Summary:** Convenient location, ample space, and direct views of the Museum of the Future, making it perfect for self-catering families. It's an excellent choice for a family Christmas trip to Dubai! We'd love to stay again next time~

This is a very good hotel with reasonable price. The best thing that stands out is the friendly and helpful staff. You feel very comfortable as the service is fast and clean. The gym and pool are basic but good as well. Breakfast is average. Overall, I had a very good stay there.

It would be even better if there were more options. Generally, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Dubai.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Very beautiful and modern. You can spend the whole day in the hotel, swimming pool, gym, restaurants and bars. The room is little small, but very functional with a lot of shelfs. Breakfast was extremely delicious and wonderful view on science museum.

The hotel is right next to the exhibition center, literally next door, but the facilities are a bit old. I was originally on the 10th floor, but due to a leak in the bathroom, it took a long time for them to agree to move me to another room, and I ended up on the 2nd floor. (I was unhappy, and there was no apology or compensation). Aside from its proximity to the exhibition center, dining options nearby are very inconvenient. You have to walk completely through the exhibition center (about 5-8 minutes) to get to the restaurants next to it (which aren't great anyway) and the nearby supermarket. Extremely inconvenient. Prices in Dubai are significantly higher than in previous years. A typical lunch or dinner costs around 100-200 yuan per person. My personal recommendation, if you don't have high expectations for hotel service (don't need daily cleaning) and just need a place to sleep for a few nights (only requiring cleaning every two or three days), which is the kind of guest I am, then I suggest you choose an apartment hotel just one exhibition center away (opposite and next to the DWTC metro station). It's located at another entrance of the exhibition center (not the IBIS), the price is more reasonable, and crucially, it's actually closer to the actual Halls 1-3.
