"Said to be a Samsung hotel, but I don’t think it’s worth it. Maybe the country is not developed. Anyway, I don’t like it too much. I won’t live here again next time. The environment is generally not too much. I don’t like it too much. There are more choices at this price"

"I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sofia for their vacation, as it is very close and walking distance to the popular tourist attractions and also you can travel easily to and from the Sofia airport. Moreover, the hotel allows contactless check-in and checkouts which are very easy to plan, but you should check your email about the instructions from the hotel near to the booking time. The hotel also has good customer service and is very willing to help."

"Hotel is good, service leaves much to be desired. We arrived at the hotel at 2 p.m. and asked on reception if the room is ready (normal check-in at 3 p.m.). The answer was that the room will be ready by check-in time (3 p.m.). We came to the reception at 3 p.m., our room was not ready. The reception lady asked ask to wait 10-15 min. We came to the reception at 15:30, the room was not ready. The lady apologised and asked us to wait 15-20 min maximum. We came at 16:10 - the room was not ready. On my question “when will it be ready?” I’ve got the answer “I don’t know”. I asked the lady to call to the floor responsible/cleaning supervisor and clarify. The answer was “ I already called them, they also don’t know”. I got angry as nobody could tell me when we can expect the room ready. After I applied to their manager, the key was provided to us in 5 min. The room was not so bad, but in the bathroom there was strong sewage smell that stayed in the room for the whole night."

"Pros: The hotel design is very modern and clean. The staff are nice and friendly and do everything they can to help you. This hotel is big on sustainability. They don't leave plastic bottles in your room. Instead, you have glass bottles that you can fill up everywhere in the hotel. Every floor has a drinking fountain where you can fill up your bottle. The food was absolutely amazing. Breakfast is not a buffet. On weekdays, you have to choose between a Bulgarian or a French breakfast. At first, I was disappointed that they didn't have a simple option like an omelet; I went with the Bulgarian option. It was fantastic. Everything was fresh. On weekends, you only have an omelet option, which was also great. For dinner, I got Sea Bass and it was also great! I am fully satisfied with the food served at this hotel. The only criticism I can give is that the breakfast serving window is very small and late (8:30 am to 10:30 am if I remember correctly) and you have to wait for more than usual to get your food. Cons: The rooms have tile floors, which look cold but are not since I believe they use floor heating. The problem is that they don't offer slippers, which I don't like, since the same tiles continue into the toilet. It doesn't feel clean. They also don't offer toothbrushes which I would have really appreciated. I had to unplug the fridge since the compressor made a lot of noise when turning off and on, and I'm a light sleeper. Overall I would recommend this place if the location suits you, just bring your own slippers and enjoy the food!"

"This is a great hotel with an excellent location, just a 15-minute drive from the airport and right by the highway. Parking is convenient and free. The front desk service during check-in was good, and the room rate included two meals (dinner and breakfast), which was fantastic, and the dishes are highly recommended. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with all facilities. It's a really good choice when visiting Sofia."

"Great central location in Sofia, within easy walking distance of everything. The hotel has an ”old school” charm, but the design is anything but dull. Friendly staff and an excellent Bulgarian-style breakfast. Nice and very useful touches in the room, like the shoe shine sponge and sewing kit. Comfortable bed and pillows, and a roomy bathroom. Would happily stay again."

"We stayed at the hotel only night. Everything was good, but the beds were a little old, the rides disturbed. The cleaning was very good. You can walk from your position to the center with comfort. The workers were *** the meat friendly and helpful. I prefer this hotel if I go again."

"I recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed. All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel overall is ok, clean and spacious . The night driver shuttle service guy who picked us up on 30 April is great. Very caring , called us to ensure we reach the airport. However this stay take the crown of the worst receptionist award . The lady is dark skin, with curly hair tied up hair and was on duty on 1 May between 8.30-9.40 am. We booked the shuttle service at 8.30 am but since we will be running late we called reception to cancel the booking. Her reply was it cannot be cancelled you need to take a taxi to airport. When we reached the reception at 8.55 am and asked again where is airport shuffle she said in a stern voice without any smile you must book via QRcode. we decided to wait at the main entrance for shuttle which did not show up. I went back to reception at 9.05 am and ask why did i missed the bus even though I was there at 8.55 am and she replied with a straight face it left at 9 am . I decided to book the shuttle bus via QR code at 9.30 am and waited at the main door. At 9.28 am there was no sign of bus, I went back to reception and she said wait for a few minutes. At 9.35 am , she was on the phone chatting but i saw 2 hotel guests going up the bus with their luggage on the side door(not main door) . I run to round up 4 other hotel guests to inform them the pick up is at side door and we quickly went up the bus. We found out that the receptionist told them to wait at the main entrance instead of the side entrance. so in the end we waited since 8.55 am till 9.35 am and missed the 9am shuttle bus and almost missed the 9.30am bus due to an extremely unhelpful receptionist who should not be in that role of hospitality if she feels that every query posed to her is a chore. Management of the office please review your service quality standards. This attitude is simply not acceptable and it is not a cheap hotel."

"Rooms are spacious. Amenities are sufficient such as shampoo, shower gel and slippers. Breakfast has many choices. Reception helped us print the boarding pass, very helpful and friendly."
