"Facilities: Excellent.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: Great atmosphere. The only minor issue was the presence of some homeless and mentally unwell individuals nearby, but they didn't bother me or attack anyone, so it didn't impact my stay.
Service: The service was fantastic, and I have to mention it. My English isn't great, and sometimes I needed a translator, but the front desk staff were incredibly patient and communicated with me with constant smiles. This made me feel at ease and not embarrassed.
If I ever go to Vancouver again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. I hope they continue to maintain their high standards and keep improving!"
"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willo (which was renamed from YWCA Hotel after we booked). Nice they offered free coffee and tea in the morning. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room, before we went discovering the city. It seems like they have just renovated and also exchanged the bath amenities to new ones while we were there. We booked the room with the shared bathroom, which also connects to another room. You can lock the bathroom from both sides, so this worked well for us. We were looking for the best price-quality ratio of a hotel that is centrally located and it really is. We arrived using the airport train and walked to the hotel. The Vancouver Stadium is just across the street so very convenient for the people looking for accommodation for the World Cup. In fact we could also see the stadium from our hotel room. Highly recommend this place!"
"It is a good place if you want to save money while still being near the city centre. The place is conveniently located near the city where there are a lot of eateries, bakeries and others, making it a convenient choice if you want to explore the city centre.
However, the facilities and amenities are not good. The towels are very bad quality and the room is very cold during winter. Asked them to fix the heater but nobody came so I couldn’t sleep that night."
"The hotel's interior and room decoration are retro and elegant, but the hardware facilities are generally not as advanced as those in China, and the room rates are relatively high. The location is very good, in a bustling area, convenient for dining and tourism, and there is a formal currency exchange agency nearby (the exchange rate is said to be better than others), a tourist pier, several light rail stations and ticket centers, and many of the surrounding buildings are a hundred years old."
"Hotel a bit outdated, soundproofing not very good. But apart from that, everything went well, location is in a safe and convenient place for public transpo. Cozy room.
Only wish 2 things were available: slippers (bec the floor becomes very cold) and drinking water."
"The room was okay. It wasn't huge, and the bathroom felt a bit cramped. The window faced the street, but the noise wasn't too bad. Overall, the facilities felt a bit dated. Being near the city center, there were plenty of restaurants around. Breakfast wasn't included, so the front desk gave us two 10% discount vouchers for the restaurant downstairs. We decided to try the restaurant next door for breakfast. How do I put it... it was hard to describe, you can see the pictures for yourself. 🤣"
"The hotel service was great, and the coffee was delicious. We stayed for 6 nights in total. I had a cup of coffee every day, but on the last day, it was just watery, I wonder why? We arrived early on check-in day, and the front desk staff, wanting us to have a comfortable stay, upgraded our room since we were staying for 5 nights. However, the toilet in the bathroom had a slight leak. We didn't switch rooms because it wasn't a major issue, and we were out all day anyway. The hotel's location is excellent; you can actually walk to most places, or take the bus or subway. There are many diverse food options nearby, including Asian and American cuisine. At night, the area downstairs is very lively with many nightclubs. The hotel room provided an umbrella, which is essential as Vancouver is a rainy city, and a safe. The bathroom and room size were both quite decent. But I wonder if booking through Trip.com means the rooms and beds would be smaller?"
"Getting to the hotel from the airport by Skytrain was super convenient and quick. It's located right on the main street, with a large shopping mall nearby, and there's a taxi stand just downstairs. We arrived at 10 AM, and not only did they upgrade our room, but they also let us check in early so we could rest. The hotel has plenty of facilities, including a gym and a swimming pool. What I particularly liked was that the shower head in the bathroom wasn't fixed, and the hairdryer was powerful enough for long hair. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Vancouver!"
"The hotel's location is superb. It's easy to go to several interesting spots around and also there are plenty of restaurants in a walking distance.
The room size is quite large. It's very convenient for us to expand our luggages.
All of the staff, we met, are super nice, polite, and very helpful.
Overall experience we had here is very positive."

VViolalee2004Fantastic experience! The private bathroom has its own keypad lock for access, the room is clean and comfortable, and the facilities are complete. The kitchen downstairs is fully equipped for cooking, which was wonderful. It felt safe and relaxing. The surrounding area is quiet, and the location is excellent. It's just a five-minute walk to the supermarket! The host and their family are warm, friendly, and communicative, responding quickly and thoughtfully. Highly recommended!
Iiceman22Stayed at the former Trump Tower in Vancouver. The location is super convenient for getting around, very close to downtown, and not a far walk to Stanley Park either! During my stay, the breakfast area was under renovation, so all meals were delivered via room service. The fully automated facilities in the room were fantastic. Overall, a really great experience!
JJingqianjinThis hotel has an old-money vibe, comparable to Shanghai's Peace Hotel. It's incredibly convenient for getting around; Canada Place, Gastown, the SkyTrain station, the Arc'teryx flagship store, and other high-end shops are all within walking distance. The ground floor itself houses luxury brand stores, and the church directly opposite is definitely worth visiting. As it's an old building, the rooms and bathrooms are indeed small, but the service is excellent.
XXinwujiban1. The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to attractions like the Steam Clock and Chinatown, plus you can easily walk to Costco, T&T Supermarket, and the SkyTrain station. Taxis drop you right at the hotel entrance, and it's also very close to the Hertz downtown car rental location.
2. The suite has a double sofa bed, which was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic facilities, so you can cook your own meals. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; it's very quiet.
3. The room rate included four complimentary breakfasts, which had a good variety and quality. Several floors in the hotel also provide drinking water, so you can fill your own bottles and save on buying water.
4. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. During our stay, we accidentally broke a bottle cap, and when we informed them, they said we didn't need to pay for it.
5. The hotel is also very close to the 2026 World Cup stadium, making it an excellent choice for tourists looking to explore the city center.
VVictoria RadbruchI had a really great stay at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and very well organized. Everything I needed was provided, and it felt comfortable from the moment I arrived.
The location was convenient and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The host was also very responsive, friendly, and helpful whenever I had questions.
Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable stay.
GGuest UserThe staff were very patient and helpful. The manager let us to check in early in the morning when our flight arrived, which was appreciated.
The location is excellent and the room was spacious and cozy. It had a nice lake view. The included in-room breakfast had a variety of tasty options.
The Lobby floor restaurant ‘Honey Salt’ had high quality food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed dining there.
Overall, this was a great hotel. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. The rooms and location were very comfortable. Both the in-room breakfast and restaurant options were excellent values. I would highly recommend staying here.
GGuest UserThe building is old. However, the front desk staff and cleaning staff were very kind and friendly, and our family was very comfortable to stay. The view from the 18th floor was as beautiful as a picture postcard, making it a memorable trip!
SShawn ZY1The hotel's location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk from the cruise terminal, and shopping nearby is very convenient. While the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the rooms are quite spacious. The staff were warm and attentive, even granting us a late checkout. Breakfast was a bit simple, but tasty.
AAnonymous UserFacilities was good but not really because the amenities are not complete they dont have slippers, toiletries need to be requested at the front desk and get by your own. Bottled water also you need to request.
To the coffee lovers they have many choices you can get it to their lobby. Inside the room has a coffee also and tea.
Front desk was so helpful especially to Ms. ALOKA who such a good service and willingly helped me. To get my ride from the hotel to the BC ferry. Thank you so much her service is beyond expectations.
GGeiorgiestravelsVery convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center. The two subway train lines are within a couple of minutes walk ,as is the main high street. The Canada line provides a direct route to the train station (tip: buy a day ticket and it will cost less that the ticket to cross zones plus the additional airport surcharge). The Canada line is so convenient that if you did not care about being in the city center then staying somewhere else along the line further out may be cheaper.
Hostel was clean and well organized. There is a strict no eating in the room policy, though there are kitchen facilities to be used. Hire a towel. Rooms and front entrance has key card access. Room has no Aircon so can be warm, though there is a small electric fan.
The room with two beds has bunk bed, cages under the bed and a stool….that is it. There are no privacy curtains, individual dockets or lights for each bed, only the main room light so make sure you have a touch/light, though as the curtains do not block all street light the room feels as it has a nightlight on and does not ever get really dark.
I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was quiet , though the hostel is above a bar and do Saturday had music playing for many hours while trying to get to sleep not the place for light sleepers.
