Guest UserWe were in Vancouver to accompany our daughter as she is going to UBC for her freshman year. Being unfamiliar with the city, we were looking for a place that would be accessible to both UBC and downtown. Boy, did we hit the jackpot. The location of this place is unbelievable, its both a bus ride away from UBC (#25 bus) and downtown (#7) as we were able ro shuttle both to UBC on the weekdays to help her move in and allowed us to enjoy the sights of downtown dyring the weekend when we had a free time. As for the property itself, the place was clean, accessible, quiet and had almost all basic amenities. Had a kitchen with complete items like a kettle, microwave, cups, utenisils, etc. The hosts, particularly Carol, was sooo accomodating and responsive. When we needed fresh towels, she provided them even with a full laundry area available. Bag storage was very useful too as our flight wasnt till midnight but Carol allowed us to store our luggage with as much time as we needed after the noon checkout. As for the area, there's a supermarket about 2 blocks away, a bank, a few drugstores/ convenient stores and a few eateries nearby. Overall, this was an 11 of 10 for us and would both recommemd this to others and will consider coming back here if we visit our daughter in Vancouver again. Just an amazing stay😀👍

My husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs.
The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting.
For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

1. The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to attractions like the Steam Clock and Chinatown, plus you can easily walk to Costco, T&T Supermarket, and the SkyTrain station. Taxis drop you right at the hotel entrance, and it's also very close to the Hertz downtown car rental location.
2. The suite has a double sofa bed, which was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic facilities, so you can cook your own meals. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; it's very quiet.
3. The room rate included four complimentary breakfasts, which had a good variety and quality. Several floors in the hotel also provide drinking water, so you can fill your own bottles and save on buying water.
4. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. During our stay, we accidentally broke a bottle cap, and when we informed them, they said we didn't need to pay for it.
5. The hotel is also very close to the 2026 World Cup stadium, making it an excellent choice for tourists looking to explore the city center.

Guest Usernice building, great history, staff was nice and accommodating.
However I was not impressed the political PRIDE flag flying out front. In fact I made a point of phone ahead to ask if it was taken down given that pride celibrations were over, I was told there would be no pride flag.
I don't hate anyone, I have *** friends and acquaintances, but they are normal *** people who don't act talk or dress weird, they don't fly pride crap, in fact they are just as offended as I and others are bc it marginalizes being *** and targets children and mentally challenged people, which like Tumbler Ridge, are turned into fanatics.
Its just when I'm on vacation, spending $600 a night for a little room, the last thing I want to deal with is political BS, especially when I'm about to dine, which turned me off from dinning in the hotel restaurant. I feel betrayed, with a portion of our holiday ruined.
I won't be staying at the this Fairmont or any others until things change, and I suggest you find somewhere else to send them a message.
speaking with your pocket book is powerful way to get the message across. Legal action is too, but at this point I'm hoping they'll understand how offensive and controversial the situation is and do the right thing.
personally, I wouldn't have mind if they put it up for the week of pride dt, but to slap people of faith and morals in the face with that crap is unacceptable.
Management was not appoligenic,

Guest UserEve's hotel was great in that the room and bed was comfortable and the private ensuite washroom was a bonus. One point tho would be to have the shower head holder fixture repaired so that the shower head would be fixed.
But again this is just minor.
The common kitchen was very clean and well equipped.
The common living room area was nice but only I could not figure out how to watch TV or Stream on it.
There also was a washer dryer which was a huge bonus .
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel but I felt overpriced, not a great security place as well. A lot of better options in Vancouver with better price. I think I arrived during a game event or something so there are a lot of people from outside sitting in the lobby, running around and they r not even staying in that hotel. No privacy and those people occupied all the seats/sofa in the lobby for 3-4 hrs. The next day the hotel took away all the seats out of nowhere. Such a weird thing

We recently stayed at the Century Plaza Hotel in Vancouver and had a great experience. The hotel's location is very convenient, situated right in the downtown Vancouver. It made exploring the city and accessing public transportation very easy.
Our room was spacious, big space, clean, and well-appointed with a kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and tea.
The staff at Century Plaza were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with any requests, which enhanced our stay even further.
One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant C|Prime, which served delicious Italian meals with a good variety of options.
Overall, our stay at Century Plaza Hotel was fantastic. We will definitely return on our next trip to the city!

The room was spacious, and the hotel is about an 8-10 minute walk from the station, which makes getting to and from the airport on the Canada Line very convenient. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and enthusiastic.

Anonymous UserFacilities was good but not really because the amenities are not complete they dont have slippers, toiletries need to be requested at the front desk and get by your own. Bottled water also you need to request.
To the coffee lovers they have many choices you can get it to their lobby. Inside the room has a coffee also and tea.
Front desk was so helpful especially to Ms. ALOKA who such a good service and willingly helped me. To get my ride from the hotel to the BC ferry. Thank you so much her service is beyond expectations.

I had a great experience at The Cambie Hostel Seymour. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Vancouver. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-managed. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The facilities met my expectations, and I felt safe throughout my stay. As a solo traveler, I found the atmosphere warm, welcoming, and enjoyable.
One of the best things about this hostel is its convenient location near Waterfront Station. It was very easy to travel from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to the hostel using public transportation, as Waterfront Station is the last stop on the Canada Line, and the hostel is only a short walk away.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.
