"Day staff was very helpful except for they couldn't help us with fixing the room temperature which was a bit too warm. I tried calling the front desk multiple times between 8pm to 9:30 pm but no one picked up the phone. In addition, there should be atleast a couple of drinking water bottles in the room so that the travelers can get settled and then they can go out or buy stuff that they need but alteast offering that initially would go long ways."
"The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained and the environment is very good. What was unexpected was the extremely unfriendly attitude of the front desk staff. At first, I thought they were unfriendly because my booking was from Trip.com (meaning I couldn't earn IHG member points), but after staying, I realized the front desk simply had poor service awareness.
I came to Toronto for a game on the 20th. I arrived at the front desk at 2 PM, but the room wasn't ready, so I stored my luggage and checked in at 11 PM. The next day, I left at 10 AM and returned at 11 PM to find the room still hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk to complain, and an Indian man gave a perfunctory response and then hung up on me, which infuriated me... I called the front desk again, and an Asian woman answered. She was still perfunctory but eventually agreed to send towels and drinking water to the room. Traveling all this way and paying a high price for such an experience has really soured my impression of Toronto as a city. IHG, goodbye."
"I enjoyed everything as what I saw online was the same. I forgot my laptop charger and I hope to lodge this Friday again and hopefully I can get it back."
"The location was close to my meeting venue. The hours of operation was very convinient as it was 24-hour attended. Lots of parking space, but the only down point was extended of parking time not allowed due to the standarded check-out time at 11 am and my virtual meetig was 1 hour later."
"The location of the homestay is good. In the Chinese gathering area of Shijiabao, there are three gas stations and a large Chinese supermarket 100 meters around. It is no problem to cook and buy food by yourself. There are two Chinese car rental shops within one kilometer. It is very inconvenient to have no car in Canada. It is also very convenient to rent and return the car. The owner of the homestay is Chinese, there is no problem with communication between the two sides, and the service is very warm and thoughtful."
"The room was clean and bright, the environment was lovely, and the transportation was convenient. The host, an aunt and uncle from southern China, were warm, friendly, and very caring towards travelers from abroad. Many thanks to them! For those coming from China, this place is a no-brainer – just book it!"

"I love this hotel. It's a great price, in a convenient location (to Uber around the city) and has great amenities. They have a bar on sight (it's simple but the menu is great). They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner there too, which you can get to-go and bring to your room. The outdoor and indoor pools are both very nice - especially the indoor pool. It's very unique and aesthetic. The hallways may be a little dated but again the price and the amenities far surpassed that detail. Some rooms even have balcony access to get some fresh air from your room which is really neat. This has been our go-to hotel when we head to the city to see a concert/show."

Great
MMichelAzar Lifestyle Vacation Club De La PieuvreThere was a constant noise coming from the toilet that prevented us from getting any rest. Even though a technician came, he couldn't fix it. However, everything else was fine. We had a good stay!
PPingpingshijieThe hotel's hardware facilities are fine, but the front desk service... I hope they hire more staff with a better service mindset.
I owed just over 67 yuan for the hotel fee and gave 70, so I should have gotten more than two yuan back. I was really tired and just wanted to go back to my room to rest since it was late at night. Then this classic conversation ensued:
Her: ”There's just over one yuan left, do you want your change?”
Me: ”Yes, please.” (I just wanted to go rest quickly)
Her: ”Do you want the cash now?”
Me: ”OK.”
Her: ”Can I give it to you when you check out?”
Me: ”OK.” (I really just wanted to end the conversation)
Her: ”Can I just not give it to you? It's only a bit over one yuan.”
Me: ”OK.” (So tired, and hadn't even eaten yet)
Her: ”OK”
AAlanSpivackA great hotel in a prime location. The Radisson Blu is situated right on the harbor. It is surrounded by iconic locations, great restaurants and attractions. The CN tower and Roger Center are just a few minutes walk. You can walk along the harbor boardwalk or sit in a nice cafe and watch planes take off and land at the small island airport just across the water.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, super convenient for sightseeing. I loved that I could always see the CN Tower from my room. Big thanks to the friendly staff at the front desk!
FFaith LobatonWe had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.
The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!
LLimGreat location, easy check in / check out, amazing views from very high floor of a 50-story condominium. I was able to check in at 3PM and the place was very clean. 24 hour security at the lobby and 24 hour concierge on 5th floor. There is a large public parking lot right across the street that is safe and easy to use. Starbucks & Tim Horton’s is right downstairs, and Dundas Square is literally a 6 minute walk away. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!
JJachariahThe bathroom and sink here weren't as spacious as in Vancouver, but the breakfast was fantastic, though I forgot to take pictures. The front desk staff were warm and polite. It would be even better if the bed could be replaced so it doesn't creak when getting in and out.
GGuest UserI saw the address and door of the apartment, but I actually got the key from the supermarket. The apartment is relatively new, with three rooms, two bathrooms and three beds. The decoration, furniture and appliances are all new, suitable for families.
GGuest UserFirst of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown.
However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert.
The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures.
Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel lobby and room were very clean and offered great amenities, including a microwave, hot water, and complimentary tea and coffee. The complimentary breakfast was also quite good, with a variety of options such as different types of bagels, muffins, spreads, and juices. Additionally, both concierges were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us with luggage storage, modifying breakfast options, and more. The service was excellent overall, and I would highly recommend this hotel!
