GGuest UserMy business trip stay at Hilton Garden Inn exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff, particularly VV, was efficient and welcoming during check-in, always smiling and quick to assist with any requests. The room was spacious, and the ergonomic office chair was comfortable even after long hours. The bedding was soft and plush, and the blackout curtains provided excellent soundproofing. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including hot congee, pastries, and fresh fruit. With a 24-hour gym, free high-speed WiFi, and complimentary parking, this international chain offers incredible value for money at its price point. Five stars!

SShengsheng_This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd. The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had. However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

YYilaiLocation & Transportation: Right next to the terminal, with a direct elevator access. I timed it, and it's a 9-minute walk, which is very convenient. It would be perfect if they had a shuttle bus, as carrying heavy bags for 9 minutes can be a bit tiring. Room View: The view is, well, the airplane runway, haha. Room Amenities: Everything you need is there, and they even provided complimentary Qingdao specialty drinks, which was a nice touch. The only minor complaint is that the shower gel provided was a bit stingy, just enough for one shower. Definitely not enough for a bath (and I don't like using bath salts). Service: The Shandong ladies are all so tall! Great genes! 👍 They're good-looking, speak softly, and have a very friendly demeanor. Service gets full marks! 💯 Value for Money: If they had a shuttle bus, the value for money would be perfect. Breakfast: Looks abundant, mostly carbs, and the taste was average. WiFi: The signal in the bathroom was a bit weak, but it was fine elsewhere. Cleanliness: Decent.

GGuest UserRoom: The floor I was on was average. The soundproofing was decent, but the facilities are quite old. The TV was slow to turn on, and the bathtub faucet leaked. Both of the children's playpens provided had holes. Service: The service was very mediocre, I'd even say poor. I've stayed in many hotels, and this Westin really underperformed. Especially the front desk staff during check-in – they didn't provide any basic information about the hotel, like breakfast times or the pool's location. We had two kids, two strollers, luggage, and a bunch of bags, and all the staff completely ignored us. Not one person offered to help. The only positive point was the housekeeping gentleman, who was very diligent and responsible despite all the issues. Breakfast: We booked for three consecutive days and specifically included breakfast. The food selection wasn't very rich, and the service was still bad. On the first morning, a Saturday, we went down around 9 AM and had to queue. With the crowd, the service simply couldn't keep up. We were moved twice, and the young lady at the noodle station was flustered. On the second day, they couldn't even replenish cups and bowls in time, and many dishes weren't refilled after 9:30 AM. We just gave up on breakfast on the third day. All food deliveries were sent to a central locker, and we had to call concierge to have them brought up, which added extra work. For this price, this location, and this service, I'm extremely disappointed. Staying here for three days then moving to the Haitian hotel truly showed me that there's no comparison. The Haitian hotel wins hands down. This is a genuine review; it was so bad that I had to comment. The only benefit for traveling with kids was the heated 'vibrancy pool,' which the children enjoyed. That's it.

KKelvinTraveling with my child, I booked a king-sized bed room and was worried about the space, but the front desk upgraded us to a family-themed room, which was incredibly thoughtful! The upgraded room was a wonderful surprise, complete with a B.Duck themed tent, a Ludo game rug, and cartoon pillows. My child had a blast as soon as we entered, and all our travel fatigue instantly disappeared. The room had excellent natural light, with warm sunshine streaming through the large French windows. The wooden floor was warm and comfortable, allowing adults to relax and children to play without bothering each other. The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, and there's also a 'Bird Club' kids' play area with slides and rocking horses, making it super convenient for parents to relax while their kids play. Molly, a staff member, provided smiling service throughout, and check-in was efficient and patient, full of care in every detail. This hotel is my top choice for family trips; the proactive and warm gesture of upgrading our room was a huge plus. I highly recommend it to families visiting Qingdao with children!

GGuest UserI called before checking in to confirm that parking was free. When I checked in, the front desk didn't even ask if I had a car. Turns out you need a parking voucher for the security guard to get free parking. When we drove out, we told the security guard we were staying at the hotel, but he didn't mention needing a voucher and just made us pay for parking. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel this price that doesn't even provide complimentary bottled water.

YYanieve⸻ Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience . The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Not ideal if you need a car—there’s no on-site parking (). Amenities and service both come in around 8.6–8.9/10, with friendly staff and smooth check‑in/out process (). Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 . 🌞 What stood out: • Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept . • The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches . • The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day (). 💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10 • Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay. 📍 Location: 8.9/10 • Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving. 🤝 Service: 8.9/10 • Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless. 🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10 • Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool . ⸻ ✅ Quick tips: • Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅. • It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre. • No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉. • No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖. ⸻ Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

GGuest UserThe room's location is pretty good, quite close to Licang District center, Wanda Plaza, and Licun Night Market, and transportation is also very convenient. The front desk service attitude was also good. The downside is that the room isn't very soundproof, and the TV in the room didn't work. I reported the TV issue to the front desk, but it still couldn't be watched properly. Overall, the experience was decent, and the room price wasn't expensive for a National Day holiday trip.

AAnxious but kind📍The Maizkaren Hotel boasts an excellent location, situated directly in front of a large shopping mall and a subway station. This positioning provides immense convenience for guests, making it easy to access shopping, dining, and transportation options. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this central location is a standout feature that can significantly enhance your stay. 💸Price: One of the hotel’s most appealing aspects is its budget-friendly pricing. For travelers who prioritize affordability, the Maizkaren Hotel offers good value for money. This can be particularly advantageous for longer stays or for families and groups who need to manage their budgets carefully. 🧼Cleanliness: The hotel had an unpleasant smell. This is a significant drawback as cleanliness is a fundamental expectation for most guests. An unpleasant odor can stem from various issues such as inadequate cleaning, poor ventilation, or plumbing problems. This aspect requires immediate attention from the hotel management to ensure a better guest experience. Basic Room Amenities: Comfortable beds, clean linens, working air conditioning/heating, and essential toiletries. 🛜Wi-Fi: Available for free. 📈Recommendations for Improvement: 1. Address the Smell Issue: Conduct a thorough investigation to identify the source of the unpleasant smell. This might require deep cleaning, improving ventilation, or fixing plumbing issues. 2. Maintain Competitive Pricing: Continue to offer affordable rates to attract budget-conscious travelers. 3. Enhance Cleaning Protocols: Implement stricter cleaning protocols to ensure all areas, especially common spaces and guest rooms, are clean and odor-free. 4. Improve Amenities: ensure that all room amenities are in working order. Maizkaren Hotel in Qingdao offers an unbeatable location and a budget-friendly price, making it an attractive choice for many travelers. However, the issue of the unpleasant smell needs to be addressed immediately to improve the overall guest experience. With some attention to cleanliness and maintenance, the hotel can become a more appealing option for visitors to Qingdao. Much love ❤️
