"Location was good, everything was close by or within an ok walking distance, rooms are very small and beds are not brilliant feels like a cheap mattress with a topper chucked on top could feel where previous people had slept with the dents in the mattress, shower n toilet area very small but to be fair it was ok for the few nights we was there, few black hairs on the bathroom floor if i was to be picky but overall not a bad place"

"Upscale luxury Hotel with view on the Köln Dom with an excellent breakfast with bubbles service monday to sunday! The entire hotel is very professional and in discretion adjusted to all inquiries, expectable for a a Steigenberger Hotel! Totally recommended

"アクセスで言うとそこまで便利とは感じませんでしたが、フロントの方の対応が良く、カフェ利用で暖かい飲み物が飲めるのが寒い時期のドイツでは大変助かりました。お部屋も小さくコンパクトでしたが寝るだけの1泊でしたので問題ありませんでした。"

"I had a great stay at Hotel Flandrischer Hof! The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cologne and just a short walk from everything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a busy day.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty with a good variety. I’d definitely stay here again next time I visit the city. Great value for the price!"

"Disappointed in standard of hotel, on arrival was told all parking was booked out. Room on 3rd floor was small with unwanted extra bed taking up spare space. Bathroom was adequate with shower over bath which had a high step in and no handholds barely adequate shower curtain did not stop water spilling onto floor.
Noisy location next to lift and noise from adjacent hotel late into night twice with patrons waking us up at 2am on return to room's.
Breakfast was ok with reasonable choice, plenty of black coffee.
Overall would not choose to stay again even at budget pricing."

"It is the perfect place to spend your time in Köln, just a 15-minute walk to the famous cathedral and 10 minutes to the city centre. Many food spots nearby (a 4-5 minute walk). It has a parking garage, which is very convenient for us. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay at Pullman. Highly recommended! 👍 Ps. Stunning view from the hotel during sunsets. I believe the other side of the hotel offers a clear view of the cathedral."

"We had a wonderful stay at Urban Loft Cologne. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is another great advantage. It is conveniently situated near many of Cologne’s popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transportation. Overall, Urban Loft Cologne offers excellent service, clean accommodations, and a fantastic location. GGuest UserIt's located across from Cologne Cathedral, and looks spectacular lit up at night. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I was happy to have free water in the room, but perhaps because Germany is an environmentally advanced country, it was bottled water rather than plastic bottles. It's inconvenient to carry around, but it was enough for making tea in the room.
If I had to say something negative, it would be that you have to cross a bridge to get to Cologne Cathedral and the station, but you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the hotel entrance. It was a bit inconvenient to go up and down with a suitcase.

GGuest UserThe room was nice and spacious. We went here in the winter and the heater worked well and it stayed pretty warm. It had everything we needed here and you can request things and services through there website (for free). The hotel also had a sauna and fitness to use for free. We only used the sauna and it was really relaxing. The only downside was that the location wasn’t that optimal for the places we wanted to visit.

While not right in the city center, it was still within walking distance and felt a bit quieter and more peaceful than being right in the hustle and bustle. We stayed during a heatwave, so the free lemon-infused iced water in the lobby was an absolute godsend. Plus, the rooftop view was amazing, with clear sights of famous landmarks!

GGuest UserThis hotel is really good. Maybe it's because the hotels I stayed at in Paris were too small, but arriving in Germany, this hotel was spacious and very clean. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The breakfast was also decent, and the staff always gave me bottled mineral water. The owner seems to be Chinese and was very friendly. It was a really great experience, and I'd recommend it to my friends.

GGuest UserStruggled to get through to the hotel as the phone number on the app used to make booking was in correct. The hotel is easy to find and transport links from the airport I give a 10/10 plus connection to the city was super easy. Upon arrival, the service desk staff were pleasant and apologised. Finally checked in and the room was clean and well done. However, my room was facing the major road and extremely noisy during the entire stay as the road is a busy one.
Ordered a late dinner and disappointed with my under done beef patty, the bun it came with required an electric knife to get through. I did complain and an apology was given.
Now, the hotel room doors bang whenever they’re being closed and made my stay unbearable. Something definitely needs to be done as I was put off!! Before retiring to bed, I hung the notice to not be disturbed..alas! the following morning after breakfast I just wanted to have a quiet time but I was rudely interrupted, disturbed coupled with the loud doors as the cleaners went about their inspections 2 x in a space of 10 minutes.
I would have loved to stay here on future visits but it’s a NO!!
The breakfast was lovely, sauna and swimming pool facilities too. I did not use the gym. Otherwise it’s in a good safe location.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated at around 5 minute walk from the Train Station. We arrived the hotel by a late ICE train at night, there is no problem regarding safety or ease of access. The reception is 24 hours manned, and has a self-service drink kiosk which you find rare to be free on European budget hotel chains. Overall lovely staff and big hotel. Note this hotel has only stair access, but to be fair for the price we paid for it is totally acceptable.

But overall, the room and corridor looks really like a prison or hospital, not at all giving the vibe of holiday stay...
Luggage storage was available for free! we can store luggage until 11pm on the day of check out.
There was no kitchen.
There is locker OUTSIDE the room, which is so weird. We need to use our own padlock to lock the locker but most of them were occupied or not working (broken). Even with the padlock, it could be open easily so I did not use the locker. It seemed there is not enough number of lockers available compared to the number of the rooms and beds, at least lockers that are not broken.
There is no curtain no privacy, even is a mixed gender room. It really feeled like a jail or something. The bedside light is too bright so that if one of us turn it on, the whole room could be bright enough, which is ridiculous. Also the sound proof was terrible that we can hear people outside singing, screaming and DJ-ing midnight, even with our windows and curtains closed. The sound of closing the door was so loud and the door seemed half broken. Also we could hear people talking in the corridor.
The shower and toilet were also outside the room and they smelled so bad. Did not feel clean.

Ccdtheunicornlovely lobby with charging amenities and places to rest and study, the staff was also very nice helped fix a coffee machine when it was broken and refunded my coffee. also very near to metro station (see pics) definitely recommended for solo travelers.
