Hotels near Tablao de Carmen, Barcelona

This was the second hotel I stayed at in Barcelona. Its location is excellent, right next to Plaça d'Espanya, making transportation very convenient. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, and bakeries nearby, which pretty much covers all guest needs. The only downside is that the room was a bit small and felt cramped, though the bathroom was quite spacious. Housekeeping requires a request; otherwise, they only clean when staff are available. On the second day, after cleaning, they didn't replenish the bottled water. Good thing I bought a large bottle from the supermarket. I had to specifically ask the cleaning staff for water on the third day, otherwise, none would be provided. When I had some free time, I was able to use the gym downstairs. The rooftop bar and pool were temporarily closed due to a Category 10 hurricane, so I didn't get to experience them. Overall, the value for money is still decent.

We arrived on the train from Valencia at 11pm and had booked this hotel based on previous reviews AND the convenience of checking in to a hotel right at the station without having to walk or travel late at night!!! This was so perfect. I wld have slept in the next morning if it weren’t for the fact I had to catch an early flight back to Toronto. Thank you!

The staff were friendly, and the accommodations were even better than I expected. Montjuic was nearby, so it was a quick walk! I'll definitely be back next time I visit Barcelona.

The hotel's facilities are pretty standard, I'd say equivalent to a 3-star in China. You only get one complimentary bottle of water per night, though there's free filtered water downstairs, but it doesn't taste great... We were assigned a corner room, which had an awkward layout; the bed was visible right as you opened the door. Despite being next to the road, the windows had good soundproofing, and the bedding was quite comfortable to sleep on. A hairdryer was provided. The big plus is the excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from the airport shuttle bus stop, right across the street. We could even see the bus stop from our room. However, paying 1100 per night during Chinese New Year felt a bit overpriced.

Excellent hotel with very attentive and friendly staff, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The room was very clean, quiet, and pleasant, with an excellent view from the balcony, close to the train. The metro and shops were also nearby. My only observation is that there was no drawer to store small items of clothing... For larger items, there was a hanger, which could be a bit better.

The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and we slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were of good quality. The room was spotless. * **Impeccable Service:** Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and the staff were friendly, proactively answering our questions and providing helpful travel advice. Room service was prompt and meticulous. The concierge was also very helpful with our luggage. We truly felt at home. * **A Surprisingly Delicious Breakfast:** The breakfast selection was excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was delicious. The restaurant environment was comfortable, and the staff cleared away dishes promptly. * **Exceeded Expectations:** We originally planned for just one night, but the experience was unexpectedly wonderful! Both the facilities and the service exceeded my expectations, making it excellent value for money. The attention to detail is evident in the small things, such as the complimentary snacks/welcome fruit upon check-in and the small gifts upon check-out, all of which make you feel very warm.

The staff are eager to provide service with willingness and smiles. Good location, just approx.5 mon walked from Espanya Station, also near Aerobus station. Compact room, perfect for relaxing. It would be great if there was a water bottle in the room or a kettle.

A truly charming hotel, with a decor that's both cozy and modern. All the staff are extremely pleasant, and a special mention goes to the receptionist, who was absolutely lovely and spoke excellent French! I'm very particular about hygiene, and here, it was simply impeccable: both the rooms and the common areas were spotlessly clean. Kudos to the housekeeping team for their outstanding work.
