"This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. From the moment you arrive, the super friendly staff make you feel like a VIP at a luxury resort. It's definitely a great place to get 5 star service even if youre on a backpacker budget. Everything from the bathroom to the bedroom, the restaurant and the pool is extremely clean. The food was delicious and affordable, with friendly 5 star service from Miss Phim. The breakfast had 4 menu sets which included something for everyone's tastes, and was included in the price of the room. They provide services like bike and scooter rentals, tours of Angkor Wat, transportation to and from the airport or bus station. Overall wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying here. Great job Indochine Sanctuary!"

"I arrived at the hotel around 1:30 PM and completed the check-in process. The official check-in time was 2:00 PM, and they gave me the room about 5–10 minutes after that. During that time, they mentioned the room was still being cleaned. Normally, housekeeping should be finished by check-in time, so it felt a bit delayed. That said, since it was only a short wait, it wasn’t a big issue—I just wanted to mention it. The hotel is located slightly outside the central area, but I actually see this as an advantage. It’s in a quieter and more peaceful neighborhood, away from the crowds. At the same time, the center is still within walking distance—about 1 to 1.5 kilometers. If you rent a motorbike or don’t mind walking, the location works very well. I liked the hotel overall. It is well-maintained and not old or worn out. The surroundings are green, and the landscaping is nicely done. My room was also very nice—spacious and located in a quiet area. One downside was the TV. It was not a smart TV and did not show any channels at all, which I would consider a negative point. Other than that, the air conditioning worked properly, and the bed was very comfortable. Personally, I liked this hotel. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would. I cannot comment on the breakfast since I didn’t try it. There is parking available, so if you rent a motorbike, you can park it easily. For this price range, I found the hotel to be very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it. "I stayed here for three nights because the reviews on this site and Google Maps were almost perfect, and the price was very affordable. Just as everyone mentioned in their reviews, the owner was incredibly kind and friendly, making for a wonderful stay! It seems to be a family-run business, and there was a young lady at the front desk sometimes. Both she and the owner were fluent in English. All the staff were smiling and incredibly friendly; their hospitality was truly outstanding. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making it very comfortable. If I had to pick a downside, it would probably be that the shower drain was a bit clogged. I didn't bring a swimsuit, so I didn't use it, but there was also a nice pool. The hotel is right in front of the Siem Reap River. When walking into town, I highly recommend strolling along the shaded path by the river; it's much cooler and more pleasant than walking under the scorching sun. At night, there were food stalls and lights, creating a lively, festive atmosphere every day. The walking distance to town was also perfectly acceptable. This isn't an issue with the hotel itself, but the restaurant next door, 'The River,' plays loud live music late into the night, which could be heard from my room. Personally, I was always so tired that I fell asleep quickly, so it didn't bother me, but sensitive sleepers might want to bring noise-canceling earbuds or earplugs. Overall, this might be the first time I've ever had such a comfortable stay at such a low price. It offered the best value for money of any hotel I've stayed in. At checkout, the owner even gave me a handmade bracelet with my initials on it, which truly touched me with their hospitality."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Indra Porak Residence Hotel. It's actually tucked within Pshar Krom (Market Below, literally, as there is a big market called Pshar Leu, Market Above along the national road, where the minivan stations are), while some may not like it, but it's nice to see the very local and residential side of Siem Reap as opposed to seeing it only as a tourist attraction. The room is spacious and clean. The staff is super well trained - defintiely a super plus point here, day to night, they can converse in English without a glitch, when we came back in the evening with stuff, they even offered help. There's also a very nice pool which I was not able to enjoy, but will come back next time. The only issue I had was the water, (could it be of rusty pipes?), please kindly look into it."

"I felt the value for money was poor. There's no elevator in the hotel, and the room amenities were limited to just sandals and toothbrushes. I had booked a room with a balcony, but was told they couldn't provide it and offered a room with a bathtub instead. This wasn't really an upgrade. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, though. Breakfast wasn't a buffet; you chose one item from a set menu, but it was delicious. The location is close enough to the city center for sightseeing, but it's a bit out of the way to the south, down a street with poor road conditions. I had stayed at a hotel in the same price range in Siem Reap until the day before, and I felt this hotel was inferior in terms of facilities, location, and service. I would have been satisfied if the price had been about 30% lower."
