"My experience at Blue Duck was fantastic this time around. The room was cleaned daily, and if you preferred not to have it cleaned, you could just close the door (the room has a small entryway). The customer service staff were very attentive, and one of them even spoke a little Chinese, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm really glad I chose this place. Smoking isn't allowed in the rooms, but there's a designated smoking area outside downstairs. Plus, there's a coffee shop right outside on the first floor every day! 👍🏻"

"I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. I stayed with two children and an elder, and our room had one king-sized bed and two single beds. It was incredibly spacious, with a small round table and three chairs, and still plenty of room to open up two suitcases. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower water pressure was excellent. We even had a view of N Seoul Tower from our room! The location is fantastic – it's only a 300-meter walk to Jongno 5(ga) subway station, right across from Gwangjang Market and next to Cheonggyecheon Stream. Walking in the other direction, it's about 500 meters to Jongno 3(ga) subway station. Getting around couldn't be easier, and the hotel offers great value for money."

"Wow~~~~ This accommodation goes beyond the concept of a hostel. Located on a main street in Jongno, Seoul, it is easily accessible, with Euljiro 4-ga Station and Jongno 5-ga Station nearby. You can also explore cultural heritage sites such as Jongmyo Shrine, Changgyeonggung Palace, and Biwon Garden on foot. Even late at night, you can enjoy the night market at Gwangjang Market and the romantic atmosphere of Cheonggyecheon Stream. The accommodation is so clean that the whole place feels like a mirror. I highly recommend this for business trips and sightseeing in Seoul."

"I usually don't leave bad reviews, but this is genuinely the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in Korea. There was a whole patch of mold on the bathroom sink, and the trash from the room next door was just left outside their door – it was still there when I returned in the afternoon! The hallway also had a very strange, unpleasant smell. The only upside is its proximity to KSPO Dome, just about 4 stops by express train, less than 20 minutes away. I guess it might be okay for a one-night stay if you're not bothered by cleanliness."

"1. A good place to stay if you are coming from afar and visiting Seoul National University Hospital; it is within a 10-minute walk. 2. Since it recently opened, the accommodation is very clean and equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, hairdryer, etc. 3. There is no elevator; you have to use the stairs to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. If you have a lot of luggage, try requesting a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. 4. It is right in front of the convenience store at the bus stop, and the bus stop for Incheon Airport is also very close."

"The hotel isn't far from Jongno 5(o)-ga subway station. Exit 8 has an elevator, but you have to walk quite a bit to get to the hotel across the street. Exit 12 has an escalator and is a bit closer. They clean the room every day. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so you'll need to bring your own!"

"I don't understand Korean hotel policies, is it normal to have to pay for early check-in? I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM, and I was incredibly tired from not sleeping well the night before. I explained that I just wanted to check in early to get some rest, and my communication was polite and friendly. Despite there clearly being available rooms, the front desk wouldn't allow it and said I'd have to pay 44,000 KRW if I wanted to check in early. Because I was so exhausted, I didn't argue and quickly paid to check in. They ended up giving me a room at the end of the 3rd floor. I assume most regular guests are assigned rooms on higher floors. The hotel's location is decent, and it's quite clean, making it convenient for getting around. I don't understand why a hotel that's clearly popular with Chinese tourists would intentionally make them feel unwelcome with their service. Would it really hurt them to be a little more accommodating?"

"Just a 2-minute walk from Gongdeok Station. It's recommended to use the exits with escalators (Exits 2, 7, and 9). The room was clean, and there was a long desk by the bedside, which was convenient for various tasks. Bath towels, face towels, bath mats, bathrobes, and other amenities were provided (and replaced with new ones during the second day's cleaning). The only inconveniences I felt were the absence of a clock and a humidifier. Also, on the second night, I needed ice due to feeling unwell, and when I asked the front desk, they said, ”The restaurant has closed, so we cannot provide ice.” Fortunately, there's a 7-Eleven on the first floor where you can buy it. There are three Olive Young stores nearby, which was very convenient as I could immediately take my purchases back to the hotel room. Gongdeok Station is also a stop for the Airport Railroad, making it very convenient for travel. You can reach Hongik University Station and Seoul Station with a single train ride."

"This is a hostel with self-check-in. Aside from cleaning staff at designated times, there are basically no services. The Westin Hotel across the street has an airport shuttle, but you have to go up to the first floor to catch it. The only downside is that the bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, and there isn't even a shower curtain, so the entire bathroom gets soaked after a shower. You have to leave your trash outside the door every morning. Hotels in Seoul are very expensive, so I can overlook the small rooms, but the bathroom design is really something – for the same price, you'd often get breakfast included in Japan."
