"Good location, walk 10 minutes to the old fisherman's wharf, there is a Chinese supermarket on the right. The room structure is reasonable and easy to use, and the bedding and sofa are comfortable. Cold meals are available at 16:00 in the lobby, ham cheese fruit wine is very good. No hot food for breakfast and no meat, sorry. Overall good and worth recommending. Monterey town is beautiful, there is no parking near the aquarium, 17miles is beautiful, and the coastline of camel town is stunning."

"The location is very good. You can walk on the beach just outside. The room is large and the bathroom is spacious. It is convenient to have breakfast delivered to the room. However, there is a bit of a weird smell in the room."

"The hotel is located in the center of Monterey. The pick-up room was small, but it had coffee and snacks. We arrived at 12:30 and asked if we could leave our luggage. They offered to drive us to the 17-Mile Drive and Carmel-by-the-Sea. The front desk initially said there would be a $20 fee for early check-in, but since we asked to store our luggage, they probably thought it was too much trouble and agreed to let us check in early for free. The room had a microwave and refrigerator, a separate shower and toilet, and large windows. The only downside was the lack of an elevator; we had to carry our luggage to the second floor ourselves, though it wasn't too high. The hotel was quiet and safe. We were very satisfied. There was no one at the front desk when we checked out; we just dropped the key into a box similar to a mailbox."

"The hotel is located on a street in Monterey, and it is easy to see the navigation in the past. The parking lot is downstairs in the room. The hotel has a beautiful European style with a garden and a small dining room. The rooms are quite large with a fireplace. Breakfast is relatively simple, bread and fruit coffee granola."

"Good location and friendly staff with warm service. Very impressed on check in by staff Mr Alan. He was courteous and helpful on check in. Took time to explain and highlight the amenities available. The place feels safe and has 2 levels of secure and well lighted parking. Food and grocery are 5mins of driving away . Old Fisherman Whatf is a must to visit for dining and shopping. Neatly themed and decorated side walks. Highly recommended hotel if staying in Montery area"

"The room was large, spacious and very comfortable. It’s just that the street I live in is a bit noisy in the morning. The water heat in the shower is a bit slow. There is free wine in the evening. Parking is free and safe. There are Trader Joe’s around, net red cafe"

"Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel."

"A gorgeous hotel on Cannery Row. The room was super big and comfortable. Yes, it's an old hotel with history, but everything was clean, and it had the best bed I've slept in during my month in the US. You just don't want to get out of it! The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and there was a duvet cover – I was surprised, as I hadn't seen one anywhere else and thought they didn't know what it was here, but apparently, they do. The service was top-notch; they helped with luggage during check-in and check-out, and the ladies at reception were very responsive. Everything you need is in the room. The bathroom is spacious, the room is large and comfortable, and sleeping with the window open is a pure delight. The only downside is the showerhead – it's a plague in hotels! It's fixed to the wall and has very weak water pressure, which is a disaster. It's impossible to shower without getting your hair wet if you don't have a shower cap. And the hairdryer! That's just a tragedy for a hotel of this caliber. The hairdryer was like my grandma's, so old and weak. I practically burned all my hair with it. I called reception and asked for another one, but they said all rooms only have that type of hairdryer. I told them it was a tragedy, that it takes an hour to dry your hair, and I don't know what century it's from. The views from the hotel are amazing, with panoramic windows, and the restaurant is one of the best in the city. The location is 🔝."
