"The setting is superb, right within the Huaqing Palace scenic area. We didn't set out to explore the park specifically; instead, we booked the complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel. This allowed us to tour the grounds with the photographer while capturing beautiful memories. The hotel's golf carts were incredibly convenient, chauffeuring us around whether we were heading for meals, hot spring baths, a show, or ticket collection. After enjoying 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' in the evening, we leisurely strolled back to our room, which felt like an efficient way to experience Huaqing Palace. We even managed to capture stunning reflections of the starry sky on the lake. Upon arrival, I immediately went for my photoshoot makeup and styling session. My child was in excellent hands with the hotel staff (the 'big brothers and sisters'), and I didn't have to worry about a thing – from check-in to dropping off luggage in our room, or even the room upgrade. The entire process – an hour for styling and an hour for the shoot – was incredibly efficient, significantly saving us time from our exploration of the park. We booked the 'Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours' intangible cultural heritage experience. Within the beautifully landscaped Chinese gardens of the hotel, we got to try lacquer fan painting and Tang-style tea ceremony. Our child gained so much from this cultural immersion. The photographer was highly experienced, and the post-production work was stunning. The makeup and styling were natural, enhancing my features without being overly dramatic, resulting in truly beautiful photos. The hotel's private hot spring baths, complimentary drinks from the bar, welcome fruit, tea cakes, and evening snacks all contributed to a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. My child absolutely loved them. When we went for a soak in the Jibao Spring hot spring in the evening, the water temperature was perfect. With the music from 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance echoing through the gardens, it was a truly multi-sensory feast for the eyes, ears, and touch. The noodles and Hulu Chicken at the hotel's Yu Shan Yuan restaurant were a big hit with my child. The restaurant's elegant decor and the opportunity to feed the koi fish in the pond at the entrance kept my child utterly captivated and wanting to linger. During our one-day stay, we savored the hotel's beautiful day and night vistas, both inside and out. The complimentary intangible cultural heritage experiences offered by the hotel provided a deep sense of relaxation for me, and a wonderful introduction to cultural aesthetics for my child."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, all the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, providing impeccable service. Sophie, in particular, genuinely values the guest experience and is always eager to listen to feedback. The room itself was elegant and comfortable, offering a breathtaking view, especially as dusk settled and the city lights illuminated the ancient city, creating a truly mesmerizing nightscape. The spa and pool provided the perfect sanctuary to unwind after a busy day. Without a doubt, this hotel sets the benchmark for luxury accommodations in Xi'an. "The W Hotel Xi'an truly goes above and beyond. Traveling with two kids, we were given a complimentary room upgrade, and breakfast for both children was included. The beds were noticeably more spacious than typical hotel beds, which was a huge plus. Even with two children (both around 10 years old), we could all sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The breakfast spread was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. We particularly loved being able to enjoy authentic Xi'an specialties right at the hotel, including Roujiamo, Youpo Lazimian, Beef Paomo, Lamb Soup, and Hulatang. During our stay, it happened to be someone's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a surprise birthday cake. This unexpected treat truly made our day! We'll definitely be choosing the W Hotel again on our next visit to Xi'an."

The rooms are spacious and very picturesque. ## Service Our hotel butlers, Themis, Fancy, and Tommy, delivered truly exceptional and friendly service. Indeed, every staff member, from the doormen and restaurant servers to the concierge team, was remarkably polite and attentive. ## Breakfast The breakfast was also delicious, presented in a semi-buffet format. A great convenience was the option to order dishes directly from your table if you preferred not to get up."

"This hotel is very nice and conveniently located. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very helpful and nice staff. I would like to especially highlight Lily Zhao at the front desk whose help was greatly appreciated by us, and the Gentleman at the entrance door who kindly helped with our lugagge. Breakfast was great, including a good western and chinese choice. Our stay was a great experience and we would highly recommend the hotel to anyone else staying in Xi'an. Would book again. "Great location, right in the city center, close to the Bell & Drum Tower and Zhonglou subway station, making it very convenient to get around & visit many attractions (just one subway stop away from Yongningmen Gate of the Xi’an city wall & the morning market). We booked the Eastern King Room, locate on the 12th (top) floor of the hotel - the room was quite spacious & well-equipped. Especially convenient was the separated of the toilet, shower, and sink areas, which made usage very comfortable. We arrived in Xi’an by early morning and the hotel promptly helped us store our luggage. Both the check-in & check-out procedures were fast & efficient. As a Trip.com customer, I received a welcome fresh fruit plate & thoughtful gifts from the hotel upon check-in & check-out, including snacks, a hand-painted bilingual Xi’an color map, and a souvenir representing China’s intangible cultural heritage. A special thanks to Doris, the hotel’s front desk staff, for her enthusiastic & helpful support throughout our stay, from the moment we arrived until we checked out. "It is located right inside the South Gate (Yong Ning Gate). Close to many tourist sites by walking. The roof top bar/restaurant has a spectacular view where you can see the South Gate and the City Wall. They also place free bottled waters next to the lifts. Very thoughtful. I wish they would have safes in room where you could store valuables such as passports. I ended up asking the front desk to store my passport. The roof top bar needs to expand their beer selections beyond you typical industry lagers. I really enjoyed the view but could not invite friends over since we would not have much drinks to choose from. The 24 hour self service laundry was a nice touch but wish they would have separate washers and dryers. All and all I really enjoyed the stay. Initially booked three nights but ended up extending two more nights."

"The location is incredibly convenient! Right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, you'll find the hotel. This was a lifesaver for someone like me who easily gets lost! It's quick and easy to get to the Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, and the high-speed train station. The hotel definitely has a classic, 'old-money' charm. Initially, I thought the facilities might be a bit dated, but they are actually very well-maintained. Overall, the service was truly commendable. As soon as you approach the hotel, staff are there to help with your luggage, and the front desk handled things very smoothly. What truly impressed me was the exceptional daily housekeeping. Whether we were in the room or not, they would consistently come to replace disposable amenities and towels, and tidy up. Another highlight for me was the heated swimming pool. We brought our child on this trip, and they went there every single day! Even though it was a bit chilly these past few days, the heated pool meant it didn't affect our enjoyment at all. Overall, it's definitely worth recommending. It might not be the best fit for young people seeking the latest tech gadgets or a super modern feel, but it's very suitable for family trips or business travel."

"My overall experience at this five-star hotel was absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the marshmallow-soft bed – once you lie down, you won't want to move! It provided excellent relaxation for my tired body after a full day of exploring the Terracotta Warriors. I always enjoy staying in hotels with unique and stylish designs, and I took many photos here because every corner was exquisitely beautiful. The hotel boasts an excellent central location, right next to the bustling and vibrant Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. Despite its prime spot, it was incredibly quiet in the room – I couldn't hear any noise from outside the window while sleeping. Occasionally, I'd hear conversations from people passing by in the hallway, but it wasn't disruptive. The suite was spacious, and the in-room amenities were comprehensive, including an iron and ironing board. The only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the quality of the combs provided, which would make it even more perfect. Breakfast was served until 10:30 AM, which I found very thoughtful as it allowed for a leisurely 'beauty sleep' before heading down to enjoy a late breakfast. The restaurant staff were welcoming and helpful, and there was a wide array of delicious dishes. Despite my 'eyes being bigger than my stomach,' I managed to pick my favorites and arrange a delightful plate. As I arrived late, the staff had already begun clearing up and cleaning as breakfast service concluded. I enjoy taking photos, and after finishing my meal, I wanted to capture some shots of the restaurant's ambiance. I noticed the staff, having finished cleaning, were diligently preparing and arranging the dishes for lunch. During the time I spent taking photos, I inadvertently observed the professionalism and high standards of the restaurant staff. In the bread and western food section, a young chef was meticulously setting up the bread display. His full protective gear – hat, mask, and gloves – was impeccable, which immediately reassured me about the hygiene standards. He politely moved aside when he saw me taking photos. Later, as he placed a chef figurine and prepared to leave, I gestured for him to be in a picture. He very cooperatively posed. The photo showed him using his gloved right hand to arrange the bread, while his ungloved left hand was behind his back (he had been wearing gloves on both hands earlier and likely removed one after finishing the display). This small detail underscored his meticulousness and commitment to hygiene. After taking the photo, I thanked him, and he politely replied, 'You're welcome.' I also want to mention another detail I observed: while he was arranging the display, an older, presumably senior chef came over and made some minor adjustments to the arrangement. This chef moved all the food items slightly forward and meticulously explained to the young chef that placing them closer to the front would make it more convenient for guests to access them. All these small details I witnessed truly showcased the professional quality of the staff. I hope it encourages them to love what they do even more, knowing that their efforts are seen, appreciated, and applauded. Finally, I had misremembered the check-out time. I was leisurely packing my bags, thinking check-out was at 2 PM. Around 1 PM, the hotel front desk proactively messaged me on WeChat, asking if I needed assistance with a late check-out. Upon learning I was leaving, they also asked if I required a concierge colleague to help with my luggage. The high-quality, polite, friendly, and enthusiastic service from all staff members made me feel truly valued and provided a VIP experience. Additionally, the hotel features its own museum with beautiful exhibits. It's a wonderful place to quietly admire the items and discover the beauty in each one – you're sure to find something you absolutely love. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel ✔️ and look forward to staying here again! Goodbye Xi'an, I will definitely be back."

"Last time I visited Xi'an, I stayed at the InterContinental. This time, looking for a new experience, I opted for the Xi'an Hai Rong JW Marriott Hotel. It just goes to show, there's always something better out there; Chinese hotels are truly raising the bar! We drove to the hotel, and the parking lot, which is shared with adjacent office buildings, offers complimentary parking. Metro Line 4 is within walking distance, offering convenient access to Xi'an City Wall and Daming Palace. A large shopping mall right next door adds to the convenience. The lobby features soaring high ceilings and an open layout. The 'Ten Thousand Horses Galloping' art installation on the first floor is quite artistic and playful. The sky lobby on the 38th floor beautifully blends traditional Chinese elements with modern design. Inside the rooms, thoughtful Terracotta Warrior-themed decorative details subtly highlight the region's unique heritage. Guest rooms are generously spacious, and the twin beds are 1.35 meters wide, which is perfect for families traveling with children. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and floor-to-ceiling windows filled the room with ample natural light. The night view from our 34th-floor room was particularly captivating. The bathroom features a smart wet/dry separation and boasts luxurious marble finishes. The bathtub even came equipped with bath salts, a nice touch. A 500 RMB deposit was required upon check-in, primarily for potential minibar charges. As we stayed on an executive floor, we had access to the executive lounge. While the variety of food wasn't extensive, the quality was consistently high. The evening happy hour, in particular, offered a diverse selection of hot dishes and tempting desserts. The main breakfast buffet, blending Chinese and Western options, was exceptional. Local specialties like Hulu Tou and Rou Jia Mo were incredibly authentic and delicious. It's truly not to be missed, offering an extensive variety of choices and excellent flavors that our child absolutely loved. Service was consistently prompt and efficient, with attentive care provided throughout our entire stay, from check-in to check-out. We'll definitely choose the JW Marriott again on our next visit to Xi'an. It truly lives up to the top-tier Marriott standard. And finally, regarding the price: for less than 1,000 RMB, you can indulge in a day of luxurious living – truly a fantastic value!"
