Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It’s at a convenient location, within walking distance to the bund. The metro isn’t too far either. Really enjoyed our room and the amenities offered. From the heated toilet, to the tea, laundry and gym, this place offered a lot! Breakfast was delicious and included many different options. Staff were helpful and made sure we were satisfied. Would recommend!

Stayed for a night at Raddison Collection Hyland Shanghai. The location is obviously very central, and in the most crowded area of Shanghai. The hotel has two entrances and guests can directly get to Nanjing road through one of the entrances. It’s an ideal place to stay for tourists who wanna want to do sightseeing and not spend much time in the room. The rooms are rather small and not very bright. There wasn’t any bathtub in the room and the shower area was small. The air conditioner couldn’t be switched to heating mode and I felt a bit cold during my stay but I didn’t contact the hotel about it because I just stay for one night. The cleanliness was ok but not perfect, the reason might be that during this period the hotel was basically fully booked and the housekeepers were very busy. The staff that I met were all nice and helpful, especially the concierge staff who helped me with a package delivery that I had. Overall, my stay was ok but not great. I would recommend this place for its location but not for the rooms. Service was good.

We booked this hotel at the last minute, my friend was disapointed with a previous one even best rated than this one, but we were happily surprised. The room was spacious, the bed was large and good, the bathroom was clean with all necessary (double towels, hair dryer, tooth paste and brush). There is a washing room with washing machine (only two if i remember well), clothes' dryer and even an iron steam (which was very useful). The only thing that was missing is a mini fridge. Personnel at arrival and departure were very pleasant, communication was more difficult with night personnels.
Around the hotel there are many restaurants and convenience stores.
Funny thing: You can order your meal on the internet and be delivered by a robot, it even takes the lift :-D

Heard a lot of good things about Atour, I can now confirm it is really good!
The beds are very comfortable.
The front office is helpful, although none of the staff members spoke English, they had a translating device that worked really well.
Room comes with amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, water bottles, tea, slippers.
I enjoyed breakfast a lot (mostly savory options as we are in Asia)
Hotel is conveniently located 2 minutes from entrance 5 of the metro.
All in all, perfect stay. Hotel is in perfect condition!

Location is great, they provide laundry soaps/laundry machine which is great. Breakfast is so so. We had a room overlooking a side alley and we changed the room. The passage to the new room was wet and dripping, there was mold. It was actually disgusting to see that. Our stay was ok, i do not want to bash them, but surely it is not good health wise for your clients to sleep in a moldy place.
The staff are ok.

The accommodation is located in a narrow little street, which may seem intimidating at first, but there is no need to worry – it’s completely safe. It’s also close to the city center, with everything easily accessible. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have never experienced such room service anywhere else. The room is clean and tidy, and the air conditioning works well.

Good experience at Atour with helpful staffs. The hotel provides free laundry service. Laundry staff will help with washing and bringing over to dryer so you just need to drop off your dirty laundry and pick up later. Location is 8min walk away from the nanjing street and 3 min from the bund.

The impeccable location and incredibly thoughtful service were a major draw. While the unbeatable location initially attracted us, the exceptional service truly made our trip complete and unforgettable. The hotel's biggest advantage is its unparalleled location right next to the Bund, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the nice coffee bar ensured we started each day refreshed. The person who made our family feel the warmest during the trip was Manager Yinuo from the front desk. Her service was truly attentive and considerate; she personally escorted us to our room and proactively introduced us to the facilities. We especially want to thank her for taking care of our child. Her warm and friendly attitude, always accompanied by a smile, made our child instantly fall in love with the place, and it gave us parents a great sense of security and touched us deeply. Furthermore, they even have robots delivering food, which is very convenient. The room was also very clean, and we were truly satisfied. This stay made us feel right at home, and we've already decided to choose this place again next time we're in Shanghai. Highly recommended! We'll definitely choose this place again next time we stay.

YYezishushangjinglingBefore our check-in, the hotel called, thoughtfully inquiring if we had children and mentioning they would prepare kid-friendly amenities. Unfortunately, these seem to have been overlooked upon our arrival. The lobby's air conditioning was incredibly powerful; it felt quite chilly stepping in from the summer heat. We received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice gesture. However, upon arriving at 3:20 PM, we were informed our room wasn't ready and had to wait until 4 PM. While we waited, they offered us complimentary drinks. We ordered three, but were then informed that only two of them would be on the house. The balcony offered a fantastic view, and the hotel boasted an impressive design aesthetic. The pool staff were very attentive, and the kids absolutely loved the warm soaking pool.

Only issue was the musty smell of the room which also had a strong incense fragrance. That said, the room was clean and beef was comfy. The smell appears to mainly affect rooms in the older wings. Amenities wise there's complementary laundry services and supper plus the staff were super friendly and helpful. So recommend staying here but request for rooms in the newer wing.

GGuest UserVery good location and service, but not recommended for couples. It’s more suitable for business travelers. The room I stayed in was quite small—maybe because of my budget—so I recommend booking a larger room if possible. The smell of smoke was unpleasant, which was a downside. However, the location is excellent with the metro station just 1 minute away. There are also very good restaurants nearby for Muslims. Opposite of metro station we found a good beef restaurant their service is amazing.

AAisha AbroadOk where to start? Checking in was easy and they let me know of a possible upgrade. Which obviously I took. So they moved me after the second night. Which was easy, they just gave me the new room key when I came back. Service? Fantastic. They don’t speak English well but that didn’t prevent anything from being understood. Also had welcome fruit.
The building is gorgeous. Also, literally right down the street from The Bund and other areas. It’s not far from the subway station either. They have some restaurants and a bar in the building. There are cafes and restaurants down the street as well (less than 5 minutes away).
It can get a bit loud at night outside but you are in the heart of the city. Blackout curtains help a lot. I still slept well.
I was posting on my social media about the view and everything which led to me recommending it to some friends already before I checked out this morning.
As a solo female traveler I felt completely safe the entire time. Even late at night and early in the morning. I would definitely recommend it. I would stay again.
To the staff, thank you all for being so amazing!

AAnonymous UserThis is my first time staying in Nanjing, walking may be too far because I don't know the distance, but walking to Yiyuan Park is very close. There are many small restaurants to choose from, but during the two nights I stayed, it was very difficult to deal with rain every day, which was the most difficult part of this trip, but overall it was not too bad to stay in this hotel, but the price I booked was not worth it to be unable to go anywhere because of the rain.

MM309818****We chose this hotel due to its excellent downtown location. It's a short walk to The Bund and Nanjing East Road, and right outside, you'll find a Pop Mart store and large shopping malls. The front desk service was excellent; the staff were very polite, warm, and attentive. One of the ladies was particularly friendly, even lending us her own umbrella. The room was clean, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. We'll definitely be back!

FFreddieliciousToday is my last day at The Westin Bund Center Shanghai. At first, I loved the hotel, but unfortunately, the experience has slowly deteriorated.
Before arrival, I had tried emailing ************************* to make a small request to celebrate an anniversary, but the email failed to deliver with an error saying the recipient’s server didn’t recognize certain characters. I’m not sure why, as the email was in English and sent from my phone.
At check-in, I mentioned this to the receptionist (his name started with “C”), who was very polite and spoke to the lady behind him, asking her to reach out to Angela to assist. He then told me to head to my room and assured me I would be contacted. I waited for an hour in the room with no update, so I went out hoping to find a message upon my return, but sadly, there was still nothing.
The email issue could have been my fault, and that is fine. But what is unacceptable is being promised a follow-up for such a special occasion and then never receiving it. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better communication and service consistency.
Later, my son lost part of his toy, which led me to start searching around the room. While doing so, I discovered dust under every cabinet. Worse, I found what looked like someone else’s cream bottle stuck between the bed and the dresser. This makes me believe that the bottom part of the bed sheet was not changed, as housekeeping would almost certainly have noticed such an item if the bed had been properly stripped and remade.
I have stayed in many Marriott properties, and this is the first time I would give only 2–3 stars. :(
