Amazing location right on Nanjing pedestrian street. Shopping malls and eateries all within walking distance.
Staff are friendly and respectful.
We asked for a quiet room and it was sorted out very quickly and we were even able to check in a little earlier. A special thank you to the lovely gentleman Alex at front desk who is professional, helpful and is an absolute star ⭐️
Our room on level 5 though having no view was nice and quiet and as described online. The walls are quite thin so you can sometimes hear people next door/upstairs etc… but not too much to ruin the stay.
Breakfast was ok. Lots of Chinese and western options so even a fussy eater will find something to eat.
Keep in mind if you are being dropped off/picked up by a taxi, it will be done on the street as there is no off road spot at the front of the hotel.
Only one lift to enter the hotel which can be a little crowded. Lobby is on level 4.

5/5 – Perfect Family-Friendly Stay in a Great Location
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and super helpful with our baby, making our family trip so much easier. Their kindness and willingness to assist truly stood out.
The location is excellent – situated on a charming street filled with cozy cafes, lively bars, and cute boutiques. It was the perfect spot to explore the area while having everything we needed right nearby.
We also appreciated the daily complimentary coffee and bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options.
The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers, especially families.

Facilities: The facilities are a little dated, but very comprehensive. The hotel lobby has a unique character, and the air conditioning works great.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was prompt.
Location: Surrounded by major shopping malls and located right next to Jing'an Temple, with an abundance of fantastic dining options in the vicinity.
Service: The service was undoubtedly the most impressive aspect of this stay; it was absolutely stellar and made for an incredibly smooth and pleasant experience.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my daughter and her friends. The hotel is clean and conveniently located, right near the subway entrance. You can also call Didi to pick you up in front of the hotel.
Another thing that impressed me the most was the service of the hotel. I would like to commend the hotel staff named Chris and Lumi. Because on the last day we had to go to the airport, we forgot our bag in the didi car. Both staffs helped to contact the didi call center and helped to call the driver using their own mobile number until we were able to get the bag back just in time to catch the plane. I was very impressed and would like to thank both of them very much.
If I have a chance to come back to Shanghai again, I will definitely stay at UrCove by HYATT Shanghai Jing’an again. Thanks again Chris and Lumi.

The hotel is incredible, breakfast is great, providing both local and Western cuisine. Jacuzzi and sauna works from 7AM, making it a great morning ritual!
Special thanks to administrator Mr. Leon, who was very helpful, caring and professional. I arrived late at night and he welcomed me with much attention and made my stay smooth and unforgettable. Mr. Leon and all team service is truly of the highest quality. Thank you Mr. Leon for the great 5 star experience at Kun Lun hotel.

This was my second stay at The PuLi Hotel. It perfectly embodies understated luxury and boasts an excellent location. The rooms are exquisitely designed, featuring incredibly comfortable bedding, and the attention to detail is impeccable. The service is attentive and personalized, and the executive lounge offers outstanding food and beverages. I recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve visited in a long time during my trip to Shanghai. From the moment I arrived, everything about this hotel radiated quality and comfort.
The room was exceptionally clean, very spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with modern decor that still managed to feel warm and inviting. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed bathroom, reflected the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort.
The service was excellent across the board. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile and ensure everything was to our satisfaction.
Another huge plus was the location – very convenient and well connected, making it easy to explore the city while having a calm, luxurious retreat to return to at the end of the day.
I’ll absolutely be referring this hotel to many friends and would happily return myself. If you’re looking for a high-end stay in Shanghai that blends beauty, comfort, and service, this hotel is a perfect choice.

The room was excellent! Despite being renovated 13 years ago, the facilities are impeccably maintained. Closing the sliding wooden door to the bedroom made it feel incredibly cozy and comfortable. Opening the curtains revealed the Shanghai Bund skyline right from the bed. Traveling with my parents this time, we appreciated that an extra bed could be added in the living room. While it was a bit basic, it was perfectly fine for sleeping. Breakfast on the 55th floor was excellent, and the views were stunning! The hot dishes were better than those offered on the first floor. The fruit and ice cream rotating display in the first-floor restaurant was quite interesting. Overall, it's definitely worth experiencing!

GGuest UserIt was a bit smaller than I expected. It was also in an alley, so it was a bit scary at night. However, the interior was clean, and the two air conditioners kept us cool. And most of all, the owner was so kind. 😭 I arrived early, but he let me check in and delayed my checkout by an hour.
I ordered fruit delivery early in the morning, and he contacted me about the wrong delivery and made sure it arrived correctly. Even though we were foreigners and couldn't communicate, he patiently guided us for over 10 minutes. Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy some delicious fruit. 🥰🥰🥰
There's even a cat in front of the property. This is a place I'd love to stay again next time I'm in Shanghai. 😘

GGuest UserIt was my first time to travel to Shanghai alone. The front desk lady was very gentle when I entered the room on the night of check-in. She even said that she upgraded my room. As we all know, the prices in Shanghai are high. That small place carries my dream of finding my idol. Thank you for the enthusiasm of the front desk lady. Although the room is small, it is clean and tidy, full of Shanghai style. If someone has booked this room type, I hope you can understand. After all, the room is this price. It is really impossible to have a cheap and large room in Shanghai. Shanghai, hope to see you next time.
