FeiziliuzhuAn interesting hotel that I visited purely out of curiosity. There's an observation deck on the 14th underground floor where you can see the lake, waterfalls, and mines. Right next to the hotel is the Shimao Wonderland theme park, and the attractions there are really great for testing your courage. In the evening, there's a light and shadow show, telling ancient stories amidst dazzling lights – truly unique and beautiful. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel is delicious, and the water curtain show in the lobby is also quite unique. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a blend of old money and modern decor. They feature smart curtains and smart sanitary facilities.

Had a great stay here! When I booked, I requested a higher floor, and they indeed gave me the 26th floor, which offered fantastic panoramic views.
While the facilities are a bit dated, the air conditioning worked perfectly, making it very comfortable during the summer.
The service was also excellent. Check-in was super quick, taking only about 15 minutes, which is very family-friendly. The location is also great. I'll definitely consider staying here again for future business trips or family vacations.
A special thanks to Jasmine, who patiently answered all our travel questions!

herbvincaMy family came to Shanghai for a trip, and we looked at many hotels. Hotel prices in Shanghai have gone up quite a bit during the summer vacation, but this hotel's price-performance ratio is still quite good. InterContinental quality is always guaranteed. It's located right by the Huangpu River; just go downstairs, turn right, and cross the street, and you're on the riverside promenade. It's about a ten-minute drive to the 'Three Piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), the Science and Technology Museum, and the East Pavilion of the Shanghai Museum, which is very convenient. We were upgraded to a river view room on the 30th floor. As soon as we entered, we saw the cleaning staff cleaning the glass curtain wall from the outside – they work so hard in the scorching summer heat. The breakfast was good, with a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, and the gym facilities were comprehensive. Overall, it was great, and we'll definitely come again.

Guest UserTop-notch! I'd been here before with my parents, and this time I brought my girlfriend – the experience was excellent! The room has a classic feel, and some of the furniture shows its age, but it's incredibly tidy! The bathroom is very spacious and clean! There's just something so comfortable about a genuine five-star hotel. The service was superb; they even gave us a late check-out and extra free parking time!

YituyidakeI recently stayed at the Ruijin Intercontinental, a rare gem in the heart of Shanghai with over 50,000 square meters of garden greenery.
The location is fantastic, right at the intersection of Ruijin Road, Maoming Road, and Fuxing Middle Road, making it very convenient for getting around. It's close to Huaihai Road, Xintiandi, and the former French Concession.
The hotel boasts two century-old brick-and-wood heritage buildings, plus a nearly century-old Japanese-style building that now houses a Cantonese restaurant. There's also an ancient well, as seen in the last photo. The historical building tour within the hotel is highly recommended; it takes about half an hour and introduces these three historic structures. You can inquire at the front desk about timings – apparently, it's daily mornings during summer and only on holidays otherwise.
The room decor is quite vintage and very comfortable, though the bathroom isn't a wet/dry separation type.
The executive lounge's afternoon tea was excellent 👍, but dinner was just so-so. Why do they dim the lights so much during dinner, though? 🤔
Breakfast was extensive and even included ice cream.
The hotel service was good.

Guest UserThe hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. The facilities are also top-notch. What truly deserves praise is the outstanding service; they try their best to meet every request. The breakfast is rich and plentiful, and even during peak hours, there's no queue, as the staff is adequately staffed. Someone is always there to clear plates and offer tissues, which is something I rarely see in hotels in China! Thumbs up! 👍 The infinity pool is fantastic, and watching the summer fireworks from the room's terrace at night was also very enjoyable. It would be even better if the bar by the pool offered some snacks and draft beer! ^_^

Guest UserI had a wonderful stay! I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a better room for free, and they even prepared a lovely little cake as a surprise. The upgraded room was much more spacious and comfortable. The cake was delicious too – fine texture and not too sweet; you could really feel the hotel's thoughtful touch. Throughout my stay, both the front desk and guest services team were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, with quick responses to everything. Thanks to the hotel for this unexpected surprise. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!
