Tianhe Express Hotel (Shenyang Middle Street Forbidden City) Reviews

I would recommend tourists in Shenyang to stay here. The location is great because you are in walking distance from Shenyang's main tourist attraction (the imperial palace) as well as it's main shopping street. You're also not too far away from the high speed rail station too. The room has a lot of space and it's nice and modern which makes you feel more comfortable.

The room doesn’t look like the pictures shown in the Trip, and it’s small and dirty. Especially it was noisy outside.

The smell of cigarettes is everywhere, it's unpleasant to be there for people who don't smoke. All the furniture is dirty and dusty. Breakfast is the same every day.

Close to Shenyang Old museum and main street. Cleaness of the room is not that good.

There is a little bit of offensive smell in the sewer after taking a shower, but it is very close to Zhongjie Pedestrian Street and the Forbidden City. The price is affordable and close to the subway station. The WiFi in the room is not very good, but at least there is internet. The cleaning staff will clean up at noon every day and will not come in casually. If you stay for a long time, you need to inform them in advance to clean the room. There are various shopping malls downstairs, but it is very quiet

The room was OK, but it felt a bit cold. I had to turn on the air conditioner. An old man said that the hotel only had one remote control and he had to turn it on and off. It might be because it was by the roadside. I could hear the sound of cars. It was nice to have a dressing mirror. The TV was not turned on, so the staff turned it on for me.

The room is not for rent and is very satisfactory. It is very close to the Forbidden City and can be reached on foot. The pillows are very comfortable and it is very convenient to get a taxi. Will stay here again next time. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha looking forward to coming next time.

I traveled south, from Harbin to Changchun, and then to Shenyang, staying in five different hotels over seven nights. This hotel, which I checked into on July 11th, was the worst in terms of cleanliness, service, and facilities, yet it was the most expensive. The mattresses were clearly not the same color on both sides; I ended up sleeping on them inside out. The daytime staff were indifferent, but quite proactive in checking me out. They wouldn't provide room amenities unless you asked at the front desk, and they didn't offer free bottled water. Overall, a terrible experience.

The hotel is located an 8-minute walk from Zhongjie. It is also very close to the Shenyang Forbidden City and Zhang Xueliang's former residence. There are many snacks next to the hotel. Turn left about 20 meters out of the bus station, making traveling very convenient.
