"first of all, the location is excellent. it is near to guomao subway station. there is also a large mall called king glory near to the hotel with lots of food and shopping options. the hotel room was very clean and spacious. there were no windows, but there was a fancy wall of (fake) green plants, which gave the room a very homely and cosy vibe. we also liked the heated towel rack and the smart room assistant Xiao Du. the corridor was also clean and had a very pleasant scent. one thing that bothered us a bit was that the aircon was blasting cold air at our faces when we slept, even though we have turned it to the smallest wind setting."

"On our way back from Hong Kong, we made a quick stop in Shenzhen for two days with the kids. The hotel boasts a fantastic location; the entire area nearby is a foodie's paradise, and transportation is super convenient with a subway station right downstairs. Shenzhen Museum is also very close by. The front desk staff were incredibly polite, and the rest of the staff were equally wonderful. Since it was summer and we were sweating a lot, resulting in plenty of laundry, the housekeeping staff kindly brought us many hangers and regularly cleaned our room. The only slight drawback was the lack of a dedicated drying area for clothes. Otherwise, everything was absolutely flawless. The room itself was clean and quiet. Highly recommended!"

"Who says a weekend getaway has to take you far away? At Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Wuzhou, I discovered the ultimate urban escape. Mornings were for soaking up the sun by the pool, afternoons for unwinding with a coffee and a good book in the Executive Lounge, and evenings for a leisurely dinner at the restaurant. And the bed in my guest room was so incredibly comfortable, I barely wanted to leave it! The service team was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, almost like friends. A special shout-out to Joy, Patrick, and Rina at the front desk, who were always responsive to every request yet never intrusive. This perfect blend of care and discretion was a huge bonus! A truly perfect weekend, achieved!"

"The hotel itself has insufficient parking. As a chain brand, they should really plan ahead for any conferences or events, always prioritizing guests. It's simply unacceptable for hotel guests to have to park off-site and pay out of pocket. The hotel manager eventually helped resolve the issue after some back-and-forth, but with such limited parking by design, the management really should have proactive contingency plans in place when events are being held. This is quite surprising for a chain brand. Moving on to their 'family-friendly' facilities, they simply aren't. The 'kids' play area' shown in the picture is the most dismal I've ever encountered. Honestly, it would be better if they just didn't advertise having one at all. They really shouldn't be targeting the family market, as the hotel's facilities and amenities simply don't meet the requirements. For families like ours, who frequently stay at various family-friendly hotels, the difference is stark. My advice would be for them to just abandon the 'family hotel' concept entirely. Regarding the family room, both the website and my booking confirmation stated there would be toys. However, upon arrival, all we found were Paul Frank decorations. This is a clear case of misrepresentation. The specific theme isn't the point; the issue is that your website explicitly promised toys. After I complained, they did eventually switch us to a themed room that actually had toys. Overall, my impression is that this hotel, being close to the high-speed rail, is suitable for business travelers looking for a convenient place to rest. For a vacation, I definitely wouldn't recommend it."

"Today, after checking out and heading to the airport to leave Shenzhen, I suddenly realized I had left my heart medication at the hotel. I immediately called the hotel to inquire, and they promptly confirmed they had found it and put it aside. As I was already at the airport and my flight was nearing departure, there wasn't enough time to go back to the city center. The hotel staff went above and beyond, thoughtfully arranging for express delivery to Shanghai using the fastest service, so I will receive my medication tomorrow. The entire process was handled with incredible patience and speed. Thank you! Additionally, this business trip was quite extended, and I had accumulated a lot of dirty laundry since arriving from Fujian. The hotel's self-service laundry was very convenient. I was initially worried about not having a proper place to hang my clothes to dry, so I just draped them haphazardly wherever I could. To my surprise, when I returned to the hotel after work, the housekeeping staff had already brought a small clothes rack and neatly hung my clothes by the bed!"

"I was actually planning to check out, but I spontaneously changed my plans and ended up staying another day. I slept incredibly well both nights – no bugs, a super comfy bed, and the AC worked perfectly. The washing machine on the balcony was a lifesaver; I even managed to do some laundry, and the individual detergent packets were a fantastic touch! 👍🏻 The view from the balcony was also really nice. I asked the front desk attendant for food recommendations, and she patiently provided some excellent suggestions. Her service was consistently warm and enthusiastic. I managed to carve out some time to explore, and the area is bustling with street food and numerous shopping malls. Huaqiangbei Electronic World, SEG Plaza, and Maoye Tiandi are all nearby – a true paradise for a shopaholic like me! After my long stroll, I returned to find the room impeccably cleaned. Housekeeping had not only replaced the toiletries and changed the bed linen but also neatly folded the clothes I'd left on the sofa – truly thoughtful! I then had another fantastic night's sleep. Watching a movie of my choice on the large projector screen was a lovely bonus. My two-day stay was absolutely perfect. This will definitely be my go-to place whenever I'm in Shenzhen again!"
