I highly recommend Shenzhen Youlin Youth Hostel! It's perfect for solo male travelers coming to Shenzhen for job hunting or a short trip. The location is very close to the subway, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The community has strict security, and access is via a password lock, so you feel safe returning at night. The entire place is thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom has no odors, and the bedding is changed promptly, keeping the beds clean and fresh. Each bed has a blackout curtain, an independent power outlet, and a lockable cabinet, so you can draw the curtain for a private space and won't be disturbed. The common areas are equipped with a washing machine, hot water, tables, and chairs, making it easy for simple cooking or working. The owner is genuinely helpful and responds quickly to requests, even sharing tips on nearby commutes and good places to eat. Most of the other guests are quiet and reliable young people whose routines don't interfere with each other. The value for money is excellent, making it a top choice for short-term stays. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen!

I had a very good overall stay at Aurora Youth Hostel Shenzhen. The biggest positive for me was the cleanliness. The room and shared areas were clean and well maintained, and the beds and bedding were in good condition. For a hostel, having a clean and comfortable place to sleep makes a huge difference, and this was definitely one of the strongest points of my stay. The facilities were also excellent. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the hostel had a pleasant and practical setup for travelers. The bunk beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was suitable for people who are traveling on a budget but still want a decent and clean place to stay. The location was good as well. It was convenient enough for getting around Shenzhen and exploring the city, although I wouldn't say the location was the absolute best part of the experience. With a little planning, it was easy to get where I needed to go. The main area that needs improvement is the service. Unfortunately, this was noticeably weaker compared with the cleanliness and facilities. The staff experience could be more welcoming, responsive, and helpful, especially when guests need assistance or have questions. A more professional and guest-oriented approach from the staff would make the overall experience much better. Overall, I would still recommend this hostel, especially to travelers who prioritize cleanliness, good facilities, and value for money. If the service were improved, this place could easily become one of the better hostel options in Shenzhen. Despite the service issues, I had a comfortable stay and would consider staying here again.

Let's start with the positives: The location is excellent – close to the subway, bus, shopping areas, and parks. All the surrounding amenities are available, including a wet market. The room is spacious enough, and the smart home system is very convenient. It's well-equipped with screens on the windows, conditioner, and mosquito coils. There's really nothing to fault. The bedding is comfortable and relatively clean. The shower space is ample, and the hot water is excellent. There's space to hang clothes and open luggage. Overall, the amenities are almost perfect. The downsides mainly revolve around cleanliness and noise. Noise is a common issue for this type of hotel. The water pipes are very loud, and there's a small gym on the sixth floor. If you're on the fifth floor, the entire ceiling vibrates with your heartbeat. Fortunately, no one seems to be jumping around late at night, so earplugs should do the trick for sleeping. Cleanliness is more problematic, it's really not up to par. All the vertical surfaces are stained and grubby. You have to be careful of dirt on the curtains. One day, after the auntie changed the linen, I found obvious, disgusting stains on the second towel. This made me wonder about the first towel I had used, which was folded on top... I can only suggest they pay more attention to cleanliness.

We’re very pleased with our 3 night-stay in this hotel. Mr. Pan aas very accommodating to us , he even transferred us to a much better room - on our own choosing with a way better view!!! We will be coming back soon here and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends.

After comparing many hotels, I chose this one and it was definitely the right decision. The hotel is located right next to the planetarium, and a 8-minute walk downstairs will take you to Beach #2. There's a convenience store and restaurant right next to the building. The room isn't small, it's clean and tidy, and the bathroom even has a smart toilet. The disposable amenities were also of very good quality. It's only an 8-minute drive to the observatory, and there are no other buildings beyond that, making the rooftop perfect for stargazing. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even helped with our luggage. It was a very pleasant stay.

First off, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – super convenient for the subway, buses, taxis, and dining. Also, the service and communication from one of the female supervisors were excellent. Now for the facts. I arrived at the hotel a little after 3 PM. The first time I tried to use my key card, it didn't work. The second time I got into a room, it hadn't been cleaned. The third time, the room I was given already had guests in it. I had to go back and forth myself each time; no hotel staff offered to help or actually checked the rooms beforehand. After all this happened, the hotel staff didn't immediately offer compensation or a new room. Instead, they suggested I wait for my booked room to be cleaned. I refused to wait and mentioned I would report it to the consumer association. Only then did the hotel offer a free room upgrade, but nothing else.

This is a really interesting hidden gem of a hotel! The lobby has two ferns, and there's another one in the breakfast area on the ninth floor – pretty common varieties. There's also a climbing fern in the rooftop corridor on the ninth floor, but I regret not taking a picture! Such a shame, such a shame. Next time I stay here, I'll definitely remember to snap a photo! Highly recommend for those who like it!

This hotel is not that great. There are a lot of flaws and it could definitely use some improvements. First of all, room isn’t maintained well, and it is very old and dirty. There were clumps of hair everywhere, and there were stains on the flooring and walls. Secondly, beds were hard, creaky, and uncomfortable. Safety wise I don’t think this hotel is super safe. There is only one lock on the door and elevators do not require you to scan your key card in order to go to higher floors. Also, if you are planning on using the washing machine, just note that it has no drying cycle. Although there are problems with the room, there are also a few positives, such as the AC works very well, room included a nice city view, Wifi is super strong, room is large and spacious, location is great, and the receptionist is nice (she let us switch rooms because our original room had fruit flies on the bathroom walls).

This is a honest review about Jufuyuan Apartment. The location is around 10 minutes away from Dongmen Pedestrian Street and the grocery store but there is a 24/7 convenience store located downstairs. Upon check in I asked the lady boss why there was no sofa compared to the pictures on the website as she told me different rooms have different layouts. There was a problem with the AC on the living area that is why the guy boss had to adjust the room temperature for us to sleep comfortably. It can sleep 4 people as we were billeted on the 31st floor. The guy boss was so kind as to help me order items from taobao as I needed to order items from the app and my alipay wont connect to the taibao app that is why I asked him to use his app and he ordered for me. He also helped me to look for a key duplicating store on the last day as I stayed there for 5 days. But I can't say much about the lady boss(his wife) as we asked her for help on the last day to book a didi taxi since I don't know how to use the app. She didn't help me and told me to ask someone downstairs to book it yet the guard didn't know how to either. We can speak mandarin but I find the attitude of the lady boss not so good compared to his husband who was so kind to help me out. Good thing a taxi stopped by and we were able to catch a ride to the port going back to HK. It was raining then so we had to take a taxi back to the port. Location wise it is okay if youre not with seniors as my parents had a hard time going to the Pedestrian street(30 mins walk from them). There was typhoon for 2 days so we didn't go out. My parents were sick but the good thing is there was a hospital in front and a pharmacy besides it, wherein I bought medicines and food for them. Subway is around 200 meters but you need to carry your stuff going down as there was no escalator going down only up. 4 Restaurants were across the apartment. There were several small roaches that they really need to disinfect the room as I saw them crawling on the wall. Most units then were not occupied as it was lean season but saw some units have a balcony wherein ours didn't have any. If not for the kindness of the guy boss I would say I still had a pleasant experience staying there. The apartment is more of an Airbnb type that you have to provide everything. No water or tea was provided during our stay. There was a washing machine besides the bathroom which helped us to wash our clothes when we were there.

Very dirty place. The common area for the ladies was full of trash, tables dirty and the bathroom dirty. The beds were hard, matresses very thin and for a tall person above 1.72m it is not advisable. They also have shelves at the head of the beds so if you are talles you will slam your head in those. The balcony was full of dirt and people's clothes. It was very hard to find and the front gate was locked and had to spend good amount of time with the security guards until they understood that I have a reservation. Basically these are big apartment buildings so some rooms will be in complex B, others complex C. The receptionist were kind but very disorganized. People in the common area were super unfriendly and actually rude. All in all, I don't recommend this place.
