MengbimamaDuring my trip to Xi'an, I stayed at three premium hotels: The Ritz-Carlton, W, and Huaqing Palace Hot Springs. I'm very grateful they upgraded our room to a lake-view for our two-night stay, and as a Marriott member, breakfast was included for my child! The W is trendy and perfect for young people, but it's also great for families. The room was spacious, and housekeeping kept it impeccably clean. The cleaning staff were very polite. The massive balcony overlooked South Lake. Xi'an wasn't hot during our stay, so sitting on the balcony in the evenings enjoying the cool breeze was lovely, and we even saw dragon boats on the lake! The W's breakfast, as always, was outstanding—the most extensive of the three hotels. We ate so much that we could skip lunch! They offered both Chinese and Western options, with authentic Roujiamo, Biangbiang noodles, and Zun糕 (steamed rice cake). The bread selection was extensive, and the cream croissants were delicious. There were also many juice varieties. We also had the pleasure of participating in the 'Golden Peach Secret Agent' activity for kids! Staff led the children on a one-hour tour of the hotel, explaining the stories behind the decor and artwork. My child was thrilled and even showed us around afterward! We also tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant, which offered à la carte dishes and a noodle bar; the three-shrimp noodles were delicious! Getting around was easy, with taxis readily available, and it's close to the Grand Tang Everbright City. In the evening, we were given two complimentary cocktails, and the singer at the bar had a beautiful voice!

Guest UserOn my holiday, I brought my child to Xi'an and chose the Sofitel Legend inside the city walls. I booked a package on Ctrip, and the price was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, convenient for getting anywhere, and there are tons of options for food delivery. The entire hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle; as soon as you step through the main entrance, you're shielded from the city's vibrancy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also fantastic, ensuring a great night's sleep every night.
The staff in all areas of the hotel are incredibly warm and professional. They always greet you enthusiastically and proactively offer various services; we felt very well taken care of during our stay.
The hotel itself is compact and exquisite, with all the facilities and services you could need. There's a pool and a gym; the pool was often empty, so we had it all to ourselves! The minibar in the room comes with chocolates and a variety of drinks, plus a coffee machine. Every evening, there's a turndown service that includes cookies or small snacks and milk. The bedding is also very comfortable. The breakfast spread is extensive, with plenty to eat each day. The à la carte menu offers a wide selection of local delicacies and both Chinese and Western dishes, and it's available until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for late risers!
What's more, the hotel is simply beautiful; every picture you take turns out great. Friends who love getting good photos should definitely consider staying here, as both the rooms and public areas are very photogenic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Xi'an. Oh, and the toiletries are also very comprehensive; you only need to bring your own skincare products. The sewing kit was a pleasant surprise – even the thread was already pre-threaded!

Anonymous UserI highly recommend the JW Marriott Hotel Xi'an! My best friend and I stayed here for Nicholas Tse's concert, and our experience was absolutely perfect. It was quite hot, so we spent most of our time at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. The facilities were new and well-maintained, with thoughtful details. The dining exceeded our expectations; the breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including plenty of local specialties. I especially want to commend the Executive Lounge on the 36th floor – the floor-to-ceiling windows offered incredible views. The afternoon tea desserts were exquisite, and during happy hour, there was a good selection of hot dishes, drinks, and snacks. While the variety might not be huge, the taste was absolutely superb. Every single staff member greeted guests, and their service was warm and attentive. I've already recommended it to my sister, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an!

Guest UserOur trip to Xi'an was made extra special and warm, all thanks to Judy.
Before we even arrived, she proactively contacted us to confirm our needs. Hearing we had a child, she went ahead and prepared the sofa bed and even set out latex pillows. During our stay, her responses were always prompt, and she kindly helped us with a late check-out. These seemingly small gestures made us, being far from home, feel truly supported.
The hotel itself also added a lot to our experience – the high-floor views were superb, the Silk Road-inspired design was very photogenic, and the Roujiamo and Zenggao for breakfast were authentically delicious. But what truly stands out the most for me is Judy's genuine warmth and kindness. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Xi'an, and even more so, thank you, Judy, for making this ancient city feel so welcoming and memorable to us.

D F KhavandBeautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning.
Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area.
Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

The hardware facilities are truly luxurious, and the experience even before check-in was a huge plus. Sophia called us in advance to pre-check, carefully asked about our check-in time and room preferences, and thoughtfully made commemorative key cards for us, which was a very kind gesture. The next day, after moving to the W Hotel, we could more clearly feel the difference in positioning between the two hotels: The Ritz-Carlton's overall ambiance, service pace, and spatial design are more suitable for family travel – it feels warm and unhurried. For breakfast, I highly recommend the oil-splashed noodles; they were authentically delicious and an unexpected surprise.

There were a few minor issues and misunderstandings during my last stay, but the hotel handled everything proactively and resolved the problems quickly. This time, I had more time to really experience the hotel. First off, the location is excellent, very close to the high-speed rail station, and there are malls nearby, making dining and shopping super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, actively asking about guests' needs and even offering welcome fruit. Although the hotel has been around for some years, the facilities are well-maintained and look very new. I especially want to commend how incredibly clean everything is. The housekeeping staff were very polite, always greeting me when we met. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future and recommend it to friends and family.

Anonymous UserI stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday while traveling in Xi'an. I asked the hotel if they could arrange a birthday cake, and they readily agreed! Not only was the cake large, but it was also delicious – even better than ones you buy outside. I'm so grateful to the hotel for that. The breakfast was also very substantial. From the front desk to room service to the breakfast staff, everyone provided wonderfully comfortable and thoughtful service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an. The only minor drawback was that the swimming pool had some floating lint when I checked in back in April, but it cleared up by the third day of my stay.
