The ancient city of Taining from the Song Dynasty and the Shangshu Mansion from the Ming Dynasty

In the northwest corner of Fujian, Taining has historical, cultural and natural tourism value, which has not yet attracted the attention of tourists, so the simplicity and tranquility of Taining now is an excellent tourism experience. In history, the Southern Tang of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms set up Guihua County here, which was renamed Taining in the Song Dynasty and has been used to this day. The ancient city wall was built in the Ming Dynasty and the ancient city pattern has been preserved to this day. There are still a large number of Ming and Qing buildings in the ancient city. The particularly worth seeing group of Ming Dynasty buildings is the Shangshu Mansion of Li Chunye, the Minister of War in the late Wanli and early Chongzhen periods, after he returned to his hometown. The Shangshu Mansion is well preserved and is a typical Ming Dynasty mansion. It is of great significance to the study of Ming Dynasty architecture and was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit early on.
