The hotel's location is super convenient, and it's very clean. We were traveling as a family, and due to a change in our itinerary, we had booked our two-night stay as two separate reservations. They wouldn't combine them for me, so I had to check out at 12 PM after the first night and then check back into a different room at 3 PM, which was extremely inconvenient. The front desk did upgrade my room, which was a pleasant surprise. The service attitude was very good overall. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I don't know what it's like.

The room is spacious, and all amenities are provided except for toothbrushes, which you'll need to bring yourself. A deposit of NT$1000 is required upon check-in, payable in cash or by card. The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station, with easy access to the Taipei Metro, Taoyuan Metro, banks, and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, making it great for shopping. You can check in with your passport, and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. You can add breakfast for an additional NT$580 (discounted rate), and the breakfast is quite good. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located right across from the Taipei Arena, making it super easy to spot and full of character. The interior design really gives you a “worth every penny” feeling — the room is extremely spacious, and every corner is thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotel’s name, Artree, creating a little creative modern forest in the middle of Taipei City.
Every spot is beautifully styled and very Instagrammable.
The service was also exceptional — friendly smiles, fast responses, and great hospitality.
There are plenty of food options around the hotel as well, so everything you need is just steps away.

We really like the front desk service, staff are very helpful & polite; also fulfill our preference of quiet room away from elevator.

Breakfast is great. Not many choices with protein, but like their congee, tea, salad with nuts, plain soy milk & spacious dining area. Staff are very experienced & friendly too.

One housekeeping staff intercepted me Sunday afternoon (when my room was not made up yet) & keep asking if I need change of bedsheet, or I would be away for long. It’s not an issue when we have a gang but he keeps pushing me for an ans & do not let me close door when I’m alone (& he’s a very tall man). Given the strange encounter & recent news about violent acts, we think it’s safer to notify concierge & ask for a lady housekeeper. Overall it’s a great experience & hope this is a minor issue.

If you like to find a quieter and slower city outside of Taipei City, this hotel is perfect for you. It is still at the centre of Banqiao business district, so if you like to explore the local neighbourhoods and small eating places, you will have to take a taxi for about 10 minutes. Amazing view and amazing facilities on the higher floors. The prestige room is huge and the toilet has two basins, which my wife really appreciated, so we can wash and clean our baby bottles separately. They also provide a baby cot.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I chose it again because of its excellent amenities and thoughtful design. The room is beautifully decorated in calming green tones, and the layout is ideal for two or three guests. I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry toilet areas, as well as the divided bathroom and shower-very
convenient for sharing. Guests can also enjoy complimentary movies, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. I had a great night's sleep and would gladly return.

Location: right next to market, convenience stores, restaurants and opposite the beach and scooter rental

Staff: Super friendly

Breakfast buffet: Great selection

Hotel just smells gorgeous. Rooms are lovely and clean and have balconies

Great pool with diving board and outdoor jacuzzi 

Cons:
Very small - tiles could be replaced on the pool floor and outside could be painted but very minor.
