Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Taiko Dori Side is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station, making it an excellent base for exploring the city and traveling around Japan.
One of the biggest conveniences is the FamilyMart located on the ground floor, which is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or daily necessities at any time.
The room was clean and comfortable, although it was relatively small, which is typical for many hotels in Japan. Despite the compact size, the room was well-organized and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel provides a variety of amenities, which guests can conveniently pick up from the lobby according to their needs. This is both practical and environmentally friendly.
Overall, this is a great hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay near Nagoya Station.

Great environment, comfortable stay, clean bedding, and a peaceful night's sleep – I slept really well. This stay was excellent! The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room is comfortable, and the facilities are well-equipped. The staff are warm and attentive, always ready to help promptly with any issues. The hotel's location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll choose to stay here again if I have the chance, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit!

Good location, it located between Nagoya and Sakae station, only 1 station far away. It is very convenient if you take airport bus from airport as there is a nearby airport bus stop, just 500 meters by walk. The room meets standard and is comfortable, It is valuable. The Japanese breakfast style is available if you enjoy them, you will love it.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to both the JR line and the subway, and quite noticeable. There's a drugstore right across the street, a Lawson convenience store next door, and a 7-Eleven just a few minutes' walk away – super convenient!

The hotel breakfast was pretty good. The dining area isn't huge, but there was plenty to eat, and I tried to sample a bit of everything each day.

The room wasn't large, but it was incredibly clean. The front desk service was excellent. The only minor thing is that, to save costs, the hotel usually cleans rooms every three days by default (we stayed for 4 nights this time). You need to stick a 'Please Clean' sign on your door if you want it cleaned sooner, which I can understand.

The room was spacious enough to lay out three suitcases. I always choose Daiwa whenever I visit Japan; it's great value for money. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from a bus stop that goes to Sakae, and about a 10-minute walk to Fushimi subway station (a bit tiring if you're dragging luggage). Nayabashi Bridge is right next to the hotel, and there's a delicious unagi restaurant and a Hida beef BBQ place nearby.

The location is great. You just walk down Shinsaibashi shopping street, turn left at a general store, and the hotel is right there. The general store also has very cheap items. A triple room is rare in Japan, and the price is decent, comparable to Singapore, especially for this area. Not many people eat breakfast, which makes it quiet and pleasant. One suggestion: please don't hand out a reminder card about not being loud every time we enter for breakfast. It makes people uncomfortable. It would be better to just place the house rules directly on the tables instead.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. It's very convenient to get around, and there are several convenience stores nearby, which makes shopping easy. Each person gets a complimentary bottle of water every day. What's really great is the small public bath where you can relax, and they even provide all the necessary toiletries. It's super convenient!

The place was quite clean, but the location is not very convenient. The staff’s attitude was extremely poor. I only requested a towel change, so I put my used towel in the provided towel change bag, hung it outside the door, and pasted the request sticker as instructed. The cleaner took the towel but didn’t provide a new one.

I went to the counter to ask for a new towel and questioned why the cleaner didn’t replace it. The staff asked me what time I put the sticker, and I replied ‘11 am’. He then said, ‘No sir, you have to put it before 10 am. Later than that, we won’t change it!’ I was shocked and pointed out that the card stated towel changes are between 10 am and 11:30 am. Instead of explaining politely, he raised his voice and insisted, ‘Sir, you don’t understand, you must put it before 10 am.’

He then said he would send me a towel to my room. Honestly, what kind of attitude and service is this?

It’s a great hotel in a very convenient location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of the staff in the reception spoke really good English. Those who didn’t were also able to help us with information using the translation device, which I thought was really good. Housekeeping were really nice, friendly and good at their job. They have an amenity area in the reception where you can pick up amenities like toothbrush, comb, razor, as well as tea, coffee and bathsalts. Room was a bit small but it was very cozy. I loved how the toilet seat was heated. The central temperature control was good. The working area being there was very convenient for me as I need to work while on holiday sometimes. Check-in and check-out can be done using the machine as well. We had a early morning flight and using the machine to check-out was very easy. Breakfast was good as well, there were western and japanese choices and if you were to not use your breakfast coupons, you can redeem it for a souvenir at the reception but it has been redeemed on the same day. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.

Located right by Uehonmachi Station with a direct airport limousine bus, getting around was incredibly convenient. The room size was just right, and the hotel staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Plus, there are plenty of shops nearby like Kintetsu Department Store, McDonald's, and Muji, making shopping and dining super easy.

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip to Japan! After traveling around Japan for several days and changing accommodations multiple times, the warm and gentle hospitality of the Okinawan locals truly touched me. I was traveling alone and had planned to take a boat to an ecological island, but unfortunately, I was feeling extremely unwell due to my period and almost missed my boat. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; they immediately found an online Chinese translator and patiently assisted me with changing my boat ticket, allowing me to board smoothly and see the stunning turquoise ocean scenery as planned. Receiving such comprehensive care when traveling alone and feeling unwell filled me with gratitude and emotion. The staff were gentle and patient, and I genuinely recommend this hotel! I am so grateful for the hotel's immense kindness and warmth! I traveled to Okinawa, Osaka, and Kyoto, but the experience at this hotel was the best. Okinawan locals are truly exceptionally friendly and passionate.

The room size was decent, and after pushing the beds together, there was enough space to open a 32-inch and a 20-inch suitcase. The lobby had a good selection of toiletries, maintaining the usual Daiwa quality. The hotel's location is excellent; after exiting Makishi Station on the Yui Rail and turning right, you can follow the elevated walkway directly to the hotel's sign – it’s very convenient and easy to find. There's a local supermarket downstairs that we visited daily, and it's also very close to Kokusai Street, just a ten-minute walk. For a family of three, the price was reasonable, making it a highly recommended choice.

Taking a taxi from Naha Airport cost about 1000 yen. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even provided toiletries for the kids. We stayed in the new building, which was super convenient to get to: after checking in, you just turn right, then right again after you see Lawson, and it's a two or three-minute walk. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is very handy, and it's an easy walk to the mall and Kokusai-dori. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Okinawa.

Fantastic hotel! It's very clean, and during our five-day stay, they changed our sheets and cleaned the room every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the view from our window was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here!
