The room came with a mini-fridge and a welcome jelly! After a long day of walking, soaking in the onsen was pure bliss. The rooftop public bath offered a great selection of toiletries, and the hairdryer was excellent. Although it's about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, the path takes you right through the heart of Ikebukuro, so you can shop 'til you drop. It's also super close to Sunshine City and all the anime stores, so I highly recommend it for any anime fans looking to buy merch.

As it's a Japanese-style room, they've opted for a rather long entrance hall, which unfortunately makes the bedroom feel a bit cramped. However, despite the compact size, it's incredibly well-equipped. All essential amenities are provided, and even the bathroom isn't small, making it perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler to relax and unwind.

Right outside the hotel, there's a vibrant array of eateries, somewhat akin to Chinese street food stalls, making the evenings very lively. Plus, it's conveniently close to the subway station.

The top floor boasts a public bath and sauna, while the lounge area provides a free ice machine and complimentary ice cream. They even offer a free bowl of soba noodles in the evenings, which collectively makes it truly excellent value for money.

Self-service laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are also available on the top floor. You'll need to ask staff to activate them, and there's a charge for the dryer.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Tokyo. I'm truly satisfied! Everything was so clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were fantastic—I slept so well. The bathroom was also spotless.

Now, about the hotel breakfast: it offered great value for money and gave me an authentic Japanese breakfast experience. It was truly exquisite.

In the evenings, they offer complimentary ramen, and the free drinks were a real bonus. Even the free drinks were delicious; the matcha latte was superb! They also had free ice cream, and the onsen (hot spring) was wonderful.

If you're going to Tokyo, choose this hotel—you definitely won't regret it. It totally exceeded my expectations!

Have stayed at apa hotels in Japan and was satisfied. Decided to stay in akihibara area again but stay at Dormy. Was excited to find for a similar cost I received a bigger room with a nicer onsen and they cleaned my room every day. Workers were courteous and worked hard to keep me satisfied. Only negative was a disappointing breakfast so we went to grocery next door and had what we wanted for a similar price. The only other issue is they should move the microwave downstairs to the seating area on entry area. Why put a microwave where the onsen or spa is. Its silly

Wonderful hot spring. Breakfast is good but because its Tokyo area its also very easy to get good breakfast out of hotel which is at reasonable cost. If never stay the hotel, then can try the breakfast.

First time staying in a hotel with public bath, and it’s amazing! Love the amenities provided too. Rooms are well kept and cleaned every night. Only confusion is whether they change the bath attires everyday for guests who stayed for multiple nights… Good job and would love to return again!

The hot spring was incredibly relaxing! By avoiding peak hours, it felt completely like a private onsen. It was truly blissful! Soaking in the hot spring with the breeze in the afternoon was honestly one of the happiest moments of my life.

The hotel service was also excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They even provided popsicles, late-night snacks, and yogurt. Plus, there were massage chairs and manga available, which was a really nice touch.

The location is fantastic, right outside the subway exit. It's very close to places like Akihabara (though a bit far from Meguro, so keep that in mind if you plan to go there). You can even see Tokyo Tower from the hotel's top floor!

As for breakfast, I'd say it's a matter of personal preference; I personally wasn't a big fan, haha! (My Chinese palate didn't quite agree with it.)

The hotel room was sizable in pretty expensive but affordable price. My family stayed at a smoking room with one double bed and bathroom with a bath tub because there was no other available room at that time. So we both had a fairly comfortable stay.

Perhaps, we pay for what we get. However, the location of the hotel was super convenience. It is nearby the river with a very nice view of Tokyo Sky Tree within short walking distance. It is within 10 minutes walk to the nearest train stations. It also takes you only about 3 minutes to go the nearby convenient store or supermarket. Very ideal if you go to Tokyo for sightseeing Asakusa areas and shopping nearby

Booked this for the convenience and that it was available last minute but would say it’s a bit pricey for what you get. Room is very small but we made it work with 2 big luggages. Washroom was spacious though 😂 The best part about the hotel was the onsen/ public bath which was super comfortable and relaxing (hot bath, cold plunge, sauna, showering stations) and you get free popisicles and yakult depending on what time you go. Free ramen on the first floor from 9:30-11pm too. Service was okay. Location was prime and walkable but a bit of a walk to any station. They do have scooter and e-bike rentals out front with the LUUP app. You can hear the train nearby but didn’t really bother us overnight.

Walking distance to train station. Area is quiet. Convenience store are a few minutes walking distance.

My stay at the hotel was decent. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff was generally polite, but I felt they could have been more attentive. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Overall, it was a standard experience without any standout features.

Location is gd w Donki, family mart and many eateries choices around 👍🏼 hotel services are gd free soba supper fr 9:30- 11pm , free drinks at lobby and free ice cream after hot spring bath with comics corner really relaxing ! Hotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.

The front desk staff was very friendly and had a great smile. I asked for a blanket and they responded quickly. The shampoo and conditioner they had on hand had a nice scent, and they also had a deodorizing spray for clothes, which was very helpful. It was a very fulfilling stay.

Warning for those anticipating for breakfast buffet: *No Salmon Ikura bowl for breakfast buffet*
I stayed 2-nights, including weekend, but no ikura bowl, only salmon sashimi mix with ikura.

The room is true to picture, small but cleana and well equipped. The space enough for 1 person with small/medium luggage.
The locatio is fine, located between Namba, Nippombashi (change train 1 time for USJ) and Shinsaibashi station (goes directly to Umeda&Shin-Osaka). It would take 5-15 mins of walking to each metro station, but if you travel with big luggage, better to use taxi.
There's Family mart on the first floor, and Lawson just accros the road.

Hotel facilities is excellent, free Onsen, free ice cream and free ramen after 9PM.
Washing machinenis free, Dryer costs only 100Y for 20mins, and you can check the laundry status from TV in the room.
Overall the hotel is worth the price, highly recommend for those who travel light and dont mind the room size.

Checking into the hotel was a breeze with their self check-in machine, which even had a Chinese option. It was super convenient and quick! I initially thought I'd have to pay extra for local accommodation tax and hot spring tax, but turns out I didn't, haha!

The room was very spacious, with a small sofa and plenty of desk space for all my things. There were lots of power outlets, and the room came with a mini-fridge, two complimentary bottles of water, and two peach puddings.

The hotel's 13th floor has a free hot spring that's open until 1 or 2 AM, so there's no need to worry about not being able to soak after a late night out. There were also various free ice creams available at the hot spring entrance (until 1 AM).

The breakfast buffet offered a huge variety of dishes. The Osaka-style pancake and steak were delicious, and the Udon noodles were also great. They even had two different soup options every day, and they changed daily!

My stay at Dormy Inn Premium Namba Annex was a delightful surprise. Nestled in the bustling Namba district, I discovered a hidden gem offering an immersive natural hot spring experience—a true 'small but certain happiness.'

**Location is the biggest highlight:** The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Namba Station, surrounded by pharmacies, izakayas, and department stores. It's incredibly convenient for returning after an evening of shopping, making it a godsend for travelers looking to explore Osaka extensively.

**Hot spring experience exceeded expectations:** 'Asagiri-no-Yu' is the hotel's centerpiece. While not huge, the natural hot spring water felt wonderful, leaving my skin smooth. There are indoor and outdoor baths, with simple greenery adorning the outdoor area. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the evening breeze instantly melted away the day's fatigue. Do note that the public hot springs have separate male and female hours, so remember to check the schedule upon check-in.

**Room design is practical and thoughtful:** We chose a Japanese-Western style room. It wasn't exceptionally spacious, but the storage was excellent, allowing us to fully open our luggage without feeling cramped. The yukata (Japanese robes) were of good quality and added to the ambiance for photos. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and toiletries were comprehensive—even the comb had a massage function. These small details showed genuine care.

**Service was efficient and warm:** The front desk staff spoke fluent English, and check-in was swift. They proactively informed us about hot spring hours and recommended local eateries. Every day, staff greeted us with smiles when we left and helped with our luggage upon return. Their politeness was just right—not overly enthusiastic, but comfortably warm.

**Minor drawbacks:** The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, primarily Japanese set meals, and the taste was decent but not outstanding. If you visit during peak season, you might have a short wait for an available spot in the hot spring.

Overall, this hotel perfectly balances 'convenience' and a 'Japanese hot spring experience.' It's especially well-suited for tourists who want to explore Osaka's city center, dine, and still enjoy a hot spring. The value for money is excellent, and I'll very likely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Osaka.

An excellent hotel with a convenient location. The twin room was spacious, and the bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet area. Guests are asked to place trash and used towels outside their door daily for collection. Every morning, the hotel provides Yakult. In the evenings, after enjoying the hot spring, guests can relax in massage chairs and read manga, along with complimentary ice cream. After 9:30 PM, you can head to the first floor for a bowl of soy sauce ramen and free coffee and cola. I enjoyed the hotel's hot spring daily, and even the showers in the room were clean. As our final hotel in Osaka, the room was adequately spacious; even after all our shopping, there was still plenty of room to open our suitcases. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.
