This hotel was fantastic, even better than I expected! The room was spacious enough, the bedding was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the window was lovely too. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and it was convenient for washing up. Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, and it's a good idea to bring your own slippers. The location is absolutely brilliant! It's not far from the subway station, and the area around is lively and safe. Both sides of the street are full of great food, coffee shops, bars, and tourist spots, all within a 5-15 minute walk! There are so many dining options, it's really a great place to explore. The hotel service was quite good; the front desk staff spoke both English and Chinese, and they offer free luggage storage. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. Great value for money!

The hotel’s location is excellent — just steps away from the MRT station, a shopping mall, and plenty of bars and restaurants along the Singapore River.

The room itself is very compact, with limited space to open a full‑size luggage. Basic toiletries are not provided by default and need to be requested at the front desk. On the positive side, the room is clean, the air conditioning is strong, and the shower has good heat and water pressure.

However, my initial room had noticeable mold and rust around the AC vent, and the room smelled musty. When I raised this with the front desk, the response felt somewhat dismissive, though they eventually arranged a room change. The second room still had minor signs of mold and rust, but it was significantly better.

Overall, the location is a major plus, but the rooms are small and maintenance could be improved. I recommend booking a room with a window and checking the AC vent condition upon arrival.

The transportation is very convenient. It's only 3 stops to Gardens by the Bay, and Suntec City is just across the street.

Everyone at the front desk was very enthusiastic, but some staff didn't speak Chinese, and others only spoke English. Sometimes it was a bit confusing trying to switch between them! However, the price was quite expensive. For over 600 RMB for three people, they didn't even provide extra toothbrushes or other amenities, claiming it was for environmental protection. So, I really recommend you think twice before booking.

The staff provided excellent service. The room was a bit small, but we were able to open two 29-inch suitcases. There's a foldable luggage rack, and a water dispenser (hot and cold) in the lobby. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. You can store your luggage after checking out.

Checking in was smooth. Breakfast has few selections which is fine for this price range here in Singapore. It was the location which is great, since you have a walkable access to many restaurants. Room was clean and it does not have any funky smell. It may be a little small but again at this price it is reasonable.

The room was a bit small; opening the door with a suitcase in the way was a tight squeeze. This is quite typical for Singapore at this price point. The facilities were complete, and it was clean and hygienic. It's very close to NUS, which was convenient as I was visiting with my child. There are plenty of dining options nearby, a 7-Eleven and a Chinese supermarket right outside, and bus stops are easily accessible. Overall, it offers good value for money. The front desk staff provided excellent service in Chinese.

Great location, affordable price. The reception staff provided excellent service. It's close to a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. You can take a bus from the hotel and then transfer to another bus that goes directly to the airport.

The room was sparkling clean, which was great! However, a heads-up for future guests: you'll need to bring your own toiletries, as beyond bath towels, no other amenities are provided in the room. The location is decent. We took a taxi from Terminal 1, and it cost 22 Euros, which felt quite expensive.

The rooms were very compact so not much space to hang clothes. Shower and toilet room was spacious and immaculate.  On the downside if you have to leave luggage after check out you have to pay 7 Euro , something we never came across anywhere else. We had only few hours before the flight.

This place is perfect for solo travelers visiting Madrid for a couple of days. The metro is right next door, making it super convenient to get anywhere quickly. My room was initially facing a construction site and was a bit noisy at night, but the staff kindly moved me to a quieter room the very next day. Their attitude was great! No deposit required, and the area feels very safe too.

I booked this hotel mainly for its location. It's close to Atocha train station, about a 12-minute walk, and you can take the 203 bus to the airport! Almost all of Madrid's attractions are within a 2km radius, and you can even take bus 27 to Bernabéu! However... the room was so noisy, constantly with subway sounds!! There are about 20 rooms on one floor, from 01 to 22. I was initially given room 222. I don't usually mind end rooms, but this one was not only an end room, it was at the very end of the hallway, directly facing the corridor instead of being on either side! That wouldn't have bothered me if it weren't for the constant train track noise I heard when I came back to rest at night. I realized the subway station was right outside. This end room must have been the closest to the subway. I even recorded the noise on my phone and went to the front desk to discuss changing rooms! The front desk clearly knew about the problem. Her attitude was very poor. She first said, 'We're fully booked tonight!' I asked, 'When does the subway stop running?' She said 1:30 AM! I told her I couldn't sleep with that noise and couldn't accept it, hoping she'd change my room. She very reluctantly changed me to 401, and whereas I was initially given two key cards, she grudgingly gave me only one after the room change! Note that 01 is also an end room, and the elevator and fire escape are right outside the door!! As long as there's no noise, I can accept it! That night, as I was browsing on my phone in bed in 401, there was a huge vibration from the headboard. I thought there was an earthquake in Madrid!!! It turned out to be the fire escape door slamming shut really hard!!!! A hotel costing over 3500 for three nights, which is considered cheap locally, but the noise level is just unacceptable!! I can't give a good review!! Do Trip.com users not deserve to have rooms in the middle?

A Pleasant Stay with Warm Hospitality

It’s always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Although it's a budget hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight the young lady who assisted me during check-in—she was so kind and welcoming. She provided me with all the necessary information about breakfast locations, nearby laundry services, and more. That was very helpful and much appreciated.

The hotel's location is also very strategic. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it’s close to both the bus and train stations. The room itself was simple but clean. Everyone at the hotel is polite and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

If I could suggest a few areas for improvement, they would be:

1. Provide a kettle in the room – Hot water for drinking is important for me, and having a kettle would be very convenient.

2. Install proper blackout curtains – This would help guests sleep better by blocking out excess light.

3. Offer laundry services – Having an in-house laundry option would be useful, especially for longer stays.

Other than these suggestions, everything else was perfect. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and truly appreciate the warm hospitality shown by all the staff. Thank you!

This hotel saved us because our previous hotel booking was unceremoniously cancelled. Anyway, while this hotel is not in the city center, still, it was near a big market, fast food chains, and more importantly, near a train station. Btw, we didn’t like the layout of its CR/restroom. If you’re a couple, then you may not find it odd. But since we were business travellers, it was a bit difficult to use. But overall, we liked staying here! The beds are comfy and the staff are nice and accommodating.

Everything was perfect. Very clean and well-organized. I highly recommend it if you need to book something in this area.

Honestly, it's pretty decent. I saw some really wild comments online, but for the price, this hotel offers everything you need. Everything was clean, and besides not having a kettle, it had all the essentials. The surrounding neighborhood isn't too sketchy either, perfectly fine for walking with a companion.

I think it's exactly what you get for your money. I chose it because it's on Line 1, and I didn't look at anything else because it was cost-effective. Even if there aren't any amenities, I still wish there was at least a kettle.

Cheap and cheerful. Don’t be fooled by the a/c it was ok but if it was hot im not sure it would provide you with any sort of cooling. The location was easy with a few metro stops close by and easy access to Gare de Nord and east. Get what you paid for and the family room with the bed over the top was handy for us.

It’s fine. The hotel is clean and everything and has a fish tank in the lobby. It’s nice. Excellent for budget. But it costs $60+ dollars in your currency to uber everywhere every day, sometimes 80$ so that has to be accounted for the cheapness of the hotel. But it’s so affordable it more than makes up for it as most hotels closer are $70 more expensive anyway. Great for a 2 star hotel, never stayed in better for star rating. Would except. And I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels. Has everything you need except coffee and they have a coffee machine in the lobby for use for 3.5 euros (6$ so a bit expensive for cheap style coffee but still).

Well located, friendly staff, the only fault I find is that they don't have food service because we were hungry and Globo doesn't deliver in that area either. Otherwise everything is ok
