The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the main station, in the Japanese quarter known as Little Tokyo. Just a heads up, the entrance isn't very prominent, so you might need to look carefully to spot it the first time. Breakfast offers both a buffet and a menu with simple cooked-to-order options – I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. There are many Japanese restaurants nearby, and I even saw a Korean snack bar-like place across the street. I took a taxi to the exhibition center, which cost around 28-35 euros.

Overall, the stay was good. Service was very friendly and nice. Location was great because there were buses and trains right outside the hotel. For me personally, the bed was hard and uncomfortable and the room was very dusty.

Although the streetcar runs in front and behind the building, the room was very quiet and I slept well.
The parking lot requires a fee, so street parking is recommended.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and everything tasted great.
Overall, I think the value for money is excellent.

I stayed for 3 nights during the exhibition period, but the price of the night went up a lot, so it is not good value for money. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to the exhibition hall. I arrived at night, and although it is a 4-star hotel, there is no free bottled water, and the price of water in the vending machine is expensive. There are only company offices and other hotels around the hotel, so you have to cross the bridge to find restaurants, cafes, and marts.

Great location in the middle of Times Square. immediately next to several Broadway Theatres! In the midst of the vibe and energy of New York at all hours of the day. 
Staff generally friendly and helpful…from doorman, porter and cleaning staff. Nevertheless, we had a not so pleasant experience with one particular reception staff. Pay attention that the rooms vary in size and configuration from floor to floor. We were given 519, a shockingly small shoe box sized room the size of a broom closet! In addition, it has a huge retrofitted ac unit which takes up an additional 30cm/12” (not shown on plan) and is 5ft tall covering up the 60% of the window! Friendly tip: don’t book the smaller sized rooms…! 🤣👌🏻

My stay at Hyatt 50 Bowery was wonderful. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is great, right in the heart of Chinatown with easy access to Soho and the Lower East Side. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the rooftop lounge where free coffee and tea are available in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Brand new hotel – I stayed March 2026, in the first few weeks after it opened. Very clever layouts makes the most of the small rooms. Modern attractive design distinguishes the rooms from other hotels in the area. Overall a great choice, HOWEVER there are a few growing pains that I hope the hotel takes care to address:

- The shower is *warm-ish*, but not *hot*. Both my wife and I found this unpleasant; we were hoping for a more relaxing shower.
- The shower leaked incredible amounts of water into the rest of the bathroom. There was no barrier under the door to keep the water inside.
- The elevator beeps on every floor it passes. Every room is near the elevators, so mornings and evenings you just hear a constant refrain of ”beep... beep... BEEP... beep... beep... BEEP... beep...” as the elevators stay busy moving guests around. I hope the hotel can get their elevator guy to disable this pointless beeping, or at least make it quieter.

Overall it was still a great stay, and definitely my favorite hotel in the area – better than the Ace Hotel, the nearby Hilton, and Holiday Inn – though it could have been amazing had these growing pains been addressed.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, the room and front desk service are also good, but the noise of the air conditioner is a bit loud!

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Toronto, within walking distance to Eaton Center, St. Lawrence market, shops and restaurants. It’s well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the city very much.

The hotel has a lovely, boutique-like charm, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a kettle in the room – a nice touch! The breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was a definite highlight! Especially the weekend brunch, which, despite starting a bit late, was absolutely worth the wait. The front desk team, particularly the ladies and a gentleman I believe was named Joy, were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Location-wise, it's about a 20-minute walk to the University of Toronto, with plenty of Chinese restaurants and bubble tea shops in the immediate vicinity. And the Shoppers Drug Mart directly opposite is incredibly convenient and well-stocked.
