One of the best things about this hotel is the location. The subway station is just a few steps from the lobby. Since it’s on Line 2, we could easily reach most major sightseeing spots in Beijing without any hassle.

The hotel staff is well trained, very polite, and most importantly, helpful, especially the front desk staff, 嘉鑫, who helped us solve many problems with professionalism and efficiency. Big shout-out to her!

The luggage storage service is also very convenient. We used it after check-out so we could still explore around Beijing before heading to the airport. The process was smooth and hassle-free.

However, there is one area that could be improved to make the hotel even better: dining. Every day when we went to the dining hall for lunch around 11 a.m., we were told to wait in line for at least an hour. Because of this, we ended up relying on ******* delivery for most of our lunches. The delivery locker system was very helpful, since the restaurant clearly has limited capacity and cannot accommodate all hotel guests during peak time.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with great facilities and service. Totally worth the price.

For a two-night stay during the Children's Day holiday in Beijing, we chose the Peace Hotel in Jinyu Hutong. It perfectly fit our itinerary, offering views of the Forbidden City from the hotel, and incredible value for money!

📍 Location
The hotel is situated at Jinyu Hutong No. 3, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street and the Jinyu Hutong subway station on Line 8, next to a Lego store – super convenient! The next morning, it was easy to bike to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.

In terms of price, among the many luxury hotels in the vicinity, this one was remarkably affordable and offered excellent value. Seriously, there are so many high-end hotels nearby, like the Waldorf Astoria, The Peninsula Beijing, and The Regent, among others. We even got an upgrade to a room one floor below the executive lounge.

Food, Drinks & Shopping
Being so close to the Wangfujing commercial district and various major hotels, shopping was a breeze. Directly opposite the lobby bar on the ground floor is Chanel at The Peninsula Beijing. Further south, you'll find a cluster of luxury car dealerships like Rolls-Royce. One block north are Intime in88 and APM, where you can find trendy spots like Zhuye Bubble Tea and well-known chain restaurants. We ordered Heytea delivery two nights in a row and had lunch at APM both days! Across the street at Macau Center, there's a Peet's Coffee and McDonald's.

On a side note, let me mention some clear drawbacks: the hotel is visibly old. If this is a concern for you, consider it carefully. A prime example is the air conditioning, which has yellowed manual dial controls [facepalm emoji], giving it a rather retro feel. However, the location and views are truly unbeatable! The lobby is very bright and well-lit, making it quite comfortable.

This five-star hotel has been recently renovated, and its cleanliness is impeccable, earning a perfect score 💯. To find such a great hotel on Chang'an Avenue at this price point offers excellent value for money. On the second floor, there are two Yangzhou cuisine restaurants, Yangzhou Yan and Quyuan. These are probably the best Yangzhou restaurants in Beijing. The restaurant's decor is unique, and there's even someone playing the guqin, performing 'Misty Rain Sings in Yangzhou'.

The 28th floor of the International Hotel features a revolving restaurant. It offers views of the area within Beijing's Second Ring Road. Located at No. 9 Jianguomen Inner Street, Beijing International Hotel has no taller buildings nearby, so the view is superb. South-facing rooms overlook the bustling traffic on Chang'an Avenue below, and Beijing Railway Station is just a few hundred meters to the south. The Jianguomen subway station, an interchange for Line 1 and Line 2, is conveniently located right outside, making getting around very easy.

Downsides:
1. There's a slight scent of renovation in the room.
2. The housekeeping staff needs more training. They should understand that while cleaning, they should not move or rearrange guests' belongings without permission. This can make guests feel insecure and erode their trust in the hotel.
3. The indoor lighting system is confusing to use. Although it's quite smart, guests should be given instructions on how to use it upon check-in.
4. I specifically booked a room with executive lounge access. During the day, the lounge only offered tea, with no snacks or fruit whatsoever. It was completely deserted during the day. I had intended to have a simple dinner at the executive lounge to avoid eating out, but the 'simple meal' was far too basic and, more importantly, tasted very poor. It felt as if they didn't want you to enjoy the food at all. The executive lounge's food was probably the worst part of this stay; other hotels' executive lounges are far superior to Beijing International Hotel's. It was precisely because I had such good experiences with executive lounge privileges at other hotels that I booked this room type. It was quite disappointing; we barely ate at the lounge, making the expensive room type a waste.

My top choice for business trips! The room has a spacious desk, making it easy to get work done. The mattress is comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service is attentive, and I highly recommend the Asian Kitchen buffet on the first floor – great taste and a wide variety of dishes. Plus, the surrounding transport links are convenient. I'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel is right next to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. I was really happy with the cleanliness, service, and overall environment. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The hotel feels a bit dated, but the buffet restaurant has a unique style. We stayed during the Spring Festival, and the lobby was decorated very festively. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were all very friendly and provided good service. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located near Metro Line 2, and you can easily take a bus to visit Sanlitun and Chaoyang Park.

For the price and location, just over 600 with breakfast is acceptable. However, as a middle-aged person, if it weren't for visiting clients nearby, I definitely wouldn't stay here myself. The facilities are too much like an old guesthouse. True, the shower seems to have been renovated and the water pressure is great, but in an old building, the drainage can't keep up. Washing my hair basically turned into a foot bath!

What's worth praising though is the excellent service. The doorman greets you proactively, and any issue brought to the front desk is immediately resolved. The cleanliness is also quite good.

The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's clean and hygienic.

So, if elderly family members are traveling and don't mind the lack of high-tech facilities like electric curtains, this could be a suitable option.

It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but the service is excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were great. I was traveling alone with two kids, and since the beds were quite narrow, I asked to have two beds pushed together. The front desk immediately sorted it out during check-in, which I really appreciated. Plus, it was very quiet after checking in, and I slept wonderfully. The location is also very convenient, close to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Qianmen, and Dashilar. It's very handy. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose this place again.

I chose Jianguo Hotel for my business trip to Beijing this time, and I really feel like I picked the right place! Even before we arrived, the front desk manager called to ask for our arrival time. Seeing that we had two rooms, they were incredibly helpful and arranged for us to have adjoining rooms beforehand – truly thinking of the guests' needs. 👍 The rooms were clean, comfortable, and gave us peace of mind. The breakfast ingredients were fresh, hygienic, and there was a great variety. I especially want to commend the hotel's service; the politeness shown to guests is unmatched by other hotels. Whether it was at the front desk or encountering staff in the hallways, everyone would greet us proactively, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, the stay was an excellent experience with great value for money, which really shows how professional the hotel's management is.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to a subway station, which is a huge plus for avoiding Beijing's notorious traffic. The room itself was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and elegant. The service was thoughtful and attentive; the front desk and concierge staff were warm and professional. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. For a business trip, this hotel offers an excellent stay and fantastic value for money.

The hotel environment and hardware are good. But the underground parking fee is a flaw. There are very few free parking spaces on the ground, and there are basically no vacancies all year round. In the huge underground parking lot of the Olympic Sports Center, the hotel actually charges guests for check-in. Which hotel would do this now? It is extremely short-sighted.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is seriously inconsistent with the price. There is often only one open-kitchen chef on duty, and he can make fried eggs and noodles by himself. However, this chef sometimes finds a way to make pizza that is only sold at noon. No wonder some guests commented that they have to wait for fried eggs and there is no noodles.
And the desserts and breads for breakfast are all perfunctory, none of them can be taken out, and they are extremely unpalatable.
It is recommended that the chef go to Zhengzhou Hotel to learn and observe. Not to mention learning from Marriott, Wanda Wenhua and InterContinental, at least go and see the breakfast of the former Yuda and now Jiajin. At least it should be fresh, of quality and classy. Otherwise, it is better to eat a takeaway breakfast for 20 yuan.

To be fair, the biggest advantage is its proximity to the train station; you can essentially walk there. You don't even need to strictly follow navigation – just ask the front desk, and you'll get there quickly. Taking a taxi is actually inconvenient; we ended up taking a roundabout route.

The downside is that there's nothing much around, and dining options aren't very convenient. If you're traveling with kids, you can just eat at the hotel's top floor restaurant.

The breakfast was excellent! The lamb offal soup, spicy soup (hulutang), and desserts were all made with good quality ingredients. They weren't like those stale or low-quality vegetable cream desserts. The overall quality was great, especially the pound cake – I really loved it!

We accidentally broke a breakfast cup and were charged an extra 28 yuan. I felt the compensation price was a bit high, but it was indeed our fault. I'd suggest providing more baby-friendly cups if possible, otherwise, all-ceramic cups make accidents like this hard to avoid.

The swimming pool is under renovation, which is a bit of a pity. The hotel is in a great location, close to Ruyi Lake Corn House, and it is very convenient to eat nearby, such as Heji Huimian. The room is nice, especially the bathtub is great. The breakfast is very rich, combining Chinese and Western food, and the small croissant is delicious. The only drawback is that the orange juice is not very good.

My stay at Sanya Yalong Bay Shixi Villa Jianguo Resort was absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to the front desk staff for their warm and efficient service. Not only was check-in super quick, but they also proactively upgraded my room to the sea-view one-bedroom loft apartment I had hoped for. The room itself was spacious and bright, with elegant and tasteful decor. Opening the window revealed a stunning sea view – truly breathtaking! The apartment-style design, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, made for a comfortable and convenient stay. What's more, the price for this stay was incredibly good value for money; getting such a high-quality experience for less than 800 yuan was truly amazing! Both the hotel's service and facilities left a lasting impression. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sanya, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the rooms have projectors, making it quite comfortable to watch videos while lying down. There are many restaurants nearby, including seafood hot pot. Transportation is very convenient; it's near Democracy Square, so it's always busy and easy to get around. The hygiene is also quite good, and the service is quite nice.
