Today I'm on duty at work. It's scorching hot and there's no air conditioning in the office. It's really unbearable. I emergency chose this Xinqiao Hotel.

Facilities: I chose a windowless non-smoking room. The size is decent, and the facilities are quite complete. This hotel has several Chinese and Western restaurants, so dining is quite convenient.

Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is good; it's relatively clean. I specifically chose a non-smoking room. Because it's windowless, the room is equipped with an air purifier.

Environment: It's very close to my workplace, only about two or three hundred meters away. The environment is good.

Service: The check-in service at this hotel was relatively quick. Room cleaning was also quite prompt, and check-out was fast. The breakfast service was also pretty good, I guess?

The hotel is located right on Chang'an Avenue, and to the south is the former Beijing Railway Station, which is where I used to arrive by train when I visited Beijing as a child.

During the National Day holiday, I stayed with my child in the Gu Du Chang Xi room type, specifically looking for a hotel with convenient transportation for a relaxing trip with the little one.

Initially, I thought the entire hotel would have the standard, somewhat traditional decor of an old-school five-star hotel. However, I discovered there were newly renovated room types with full smart home control, so I decisively switched to one of those and was not disappointed. The smart devices made our stay quite hassle-free, and the frosted glass is electrically controlled, which was new and interesting to me.

The room was on the 21st floor. I asked the staff, and they mentioned that floors 20-22, as well as 13-15, are also relatively new. Our west-facing room offered a direct view of the Forbidden City as soon as the curtains were drawn. On clear days without smog, we could even see the western mountains.

My daughter was so captivated by the window view that she insisted we extend our stay by two more days, so we ended up staying for a total of four days.

I must also highly praise the hotel's service. From the moment we got out of the car, the concierge was very enthusiastic, helping with our luggage and introducing the lobby's facilities, including where to put food deliveries. Since we tend to sleep in late, we always requested a later cleaning time.

My daughter strongly urged me to give a big shout-out to housekeeping staff member 021, whom we encountered frequently. They always greeted us with a smile, and their response to our requests was very prompt. Another housekeeping staff member, 011, also provided excellent service.

The revolving restaurant on the 28th floor offers fantastic views. A friend visited, and we had afternoon tea there; you can practically see a panoramic view of Beijing, which was wonderful.

I will definitely stay here again next time.

This is my second time staying at this hotel for a trip to Beijing, and the experience is still great. The hotel is located in a prime area, within walking distance of popular attractions like Wangfujing Street, the Forbidden City, and Tiananmen Square. Public transportation, subway, and taxis are also very convenient for getting around. The executive lounge features 180° floor-to-ceiling windows, offering stunning views of city landmarks such as the Forbidden City, Beihai Park, and Jingshan Park while you enjoy delicious food. The hotel also offers intangible cultural heritage experiences. On my check-out day, the service staff proactively asked if I needed luggage assistance, which was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Highly recommended!

The lobby has the most trinkets I've seen in a hotel, with many small gifts that aren't too expensive, a vending machine, and free stamp check-ins.

I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a king-size bed room. The facilities are quite vintage but well-maintained. The soundproofing is a bit poor, and windows in rooms facing Chang'an Avenue cannot be opened.

The breakfast variety is decent, but there are very few Western options, especially salads, cheeses, and coffee, which are quite basic. Also, later on, they basically stop refilling items.

Overall, the value for money is still good. From my personal perspective, I would definitely return if the breakfast options were improved.

First off, the conclusion: excellent value for money, far exceeding expectations.

Firstly, the location. It's only a 4-minute walk from the subway station, and the surrounding area has plenty of shopping and dining options, making it convenient for both meals and retail therapy.

The most thoughtful and important feature is the hotel's shuttle bus service to and from Universal Studios. It made our trip hassle-free and energy-saving. The pickup and drop-off times were very reasonable, and the driver even called to guide us to the pickup spot.

The surrounding area is very chill, and it's quiet at night, ensuring an undisturbed rest.

！！Most importantly！！ We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. The upgraded suite was spacious and bright, making for a particularly comfortable stay. The mini-bar was well-stocked with drinks, and the attention to detail was evident.

In the evening, I checked out the hotel's amenities: a laundry room, a 24-hour convenience store, and a lounge area – all new and well-equipped.

Considering the location, service, and comfort, it's incredibly good value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Universal Studios. Highly recommended!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, offering incredible value for families traveling with children! First off, the location is superb! In Beijing, taking the subway is by far the most convenient way to get around. To visit Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, or the National Museum, you just need to exit the hotel, walk two minutes to Yong'anli Station on Line 1, and it's only four stops away. Even to the Military Museum, it's a direct ride of eight or nine stops from Yong'anli. For a trip to the Great Wall with kids, you can easily transfer from Yong'anli Station to take bus 877 – truly super convenient! Second, the lovely lady at the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Our king-sized bed room on the 4th floor was very comfortable, and staying for five nights, we grew more accustomed to it (the room is a little dated, unlike newer hotels, but it was perfectly acceptable!). Third, there was another wonderful lady from housekeeping who, after a tiny minor issue, upgraded my child and me to breakfast, which really showed the thoughtfulness and sincerity of Jianguo Hotel! Lastly, the lunch and dinner buffets at the hotel's first-floor restaurant are perfect for us – after a long day of exploring, we just don't want to go out again. My child absolutely loved the hot pot buffet package we got! The best part is not having to leave the hotel or order takeout; we could just leisurely sit down, eat, and drink without rushing or feeling pressured to check off a list. Oh, and also, we happened to encounter a lovely lady from the restaurant giving out Qixi Festival soap flower samples 🌺 – my child and I each got one and were absolutely delighted! Jianguo, we'll be back for sure! 😊

Facilities: The facilities are very complete, the room is spacious, and there's no smoke smell. There's a swimming pool on the first floor open until 9 PM, and the apple-scented shampoo was a nice touch.

Cleanliness: The hygiene was excellent; everything was spotless, including the carpets, tables, and even the kettle, with no foreign objects.

Environment: The hotel is located near Workers' Stadium, where there are many bars. However, the immediate vicinity of the hotel itself is not bustling and is very quiet.

Service: The service was good; they even delivered ice late at night.

This hotel is a long-standing, five-star establishment, and it's impressive how well it maintains its standards in today's competitive hotel market. The location is excellent, and the service is attentive. Although the room was a bit small, almost all of my requests made prior to booking were met.

A huge plus is the spacious room, which gave us plenty of freedom with the kids. The bunk beds were perfect for families with two children, haha!

The staff were all very courteous. Xiao Juan at the front desk was meticulous, attentive, and incredibly enthusiastic. The porter, seeing we had musical instruments, was extra careful when storing them, specifically putting them inside a room – big thumbs up!

The location is quiet yet central. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Zhonghai Daji Alley, and just a bit north is Zhonghua Bookstore and Ji Xiaolan's Former Residence. Further northeast leads towards Qianmen, and you can reach the Temple of Heaven in just four bus stops from right outside the hotel.

As some reviews mention, it is an older hotel, so the decor is a bit dated. The bathroom has a bathtub, and the floor is carpeted. However, considering our travel needs, it met most of our requirements. These issues are minor imperfections rather than actual problems.

An excellent 5-star hotel! The rooms are well-equipped, and the breakfast is fantastic with a wide variety of choices. The 13th floor has been renovated and now offers self-service laundry, which is super convenient. The location is also superb, making it easy to get around by car or public transport. The hotel staff provide exceptional service; the bellhops are all very dedicated and responsible, especially Dong Tianci, who always greets guests and helps with luggage every time I enter or leave. All the other staff members are great too! Thumbs up!

Highly recommended! If you're attending a concert, this hotel is perfectly located with excellent service and a great atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options and high-quality dishes. The room attendant was also very kind, and the room decor was absolutely to my taste.

Had a fantastic stay! The location is great, about a 20-minute drive to both the East Station and the Museum, so it's quite central. Downstairs, there's BBQ, hot pot, and Cotti Coffee, making it super convenient for food delivery – they even have robots for that! It's very quiet and the area feels safe. Plus, you can park under a covered area to protect your car from rain.

A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who helped me get a really great room with a perfect view of the 'Corn Tower' (a local landmark). The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and there were 4 complimentary bottles of water in the room.

The only minor flaw was that the shower head was broken and almost hit my foot.

They offer a free shuttle service to the station, which was excellent, but it's a shared ride. The other party was late, which almost made me miss my train. I'd suggest giving a heads-up if it's a shared shuttle next time. The driver was very professional, though; he rerouted us due to heavy traffic and got me to the station on time. Great service overall!

First off, the location is a bit tricky. While it's only a kilometer from the East Station, it's actually too close to easily catch a taxi. Walking 15 minutes with luggage in the summer was quite unpleasant, especially with the roads nearby being under construction, which made it even less convenient. It would be great if the hotel offered a pick-up service from the station. Secondly, the in-room drinking water was really subpar; it doesn't match the hotel's reputation at all. Thirdly, the front desk isn't on the ground floor, which is a bit inconvenient. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the service staff, especially the ladies, had a wonderful attitude, which significantly improved my overall impression.

The garden environment truly lives up to a villa standard, with few people around and a serene atmosphere. The service is also thoughtful and attentive; the shuttle bus arrives within minutes, operates 24/7, and they even help with luggage. The security guards are polite and courteous, the cleaning staff are diligent and responsible, and the front desk is efficient and quick. I stayed for several days, and every morning during my walk around the complex, I saw patrol cars, which instantly made me feel incredibly safe. There were also various staff members tending to the flowers and plants. It really felt like being in a tropical rainforest.

Incredible stay! The staff were very attentive, and even though I didn't have to ask for anything, everything was perfect. The sheets were changed daily, and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel is very well located, with a few shops nearby and a very good restaurant on-site. The rooms are large and spacious, and the bathroom is very large. It's certainly one of the best hotels I've stayed in in China since I started visiting the country. If I could give it an 11 out of 10, I would. You can travel to this hotel without hesitation. Furthermore, the beach is literally a three-minute walk away—a very clean beach with no one around, where you can swim peacefully with your family.
