Excellent location and reasonable price.

We received a free upgrade to a spacious Villa Suite. Unfortunately, the interior designer placed the bed directly in front of the TV, making it impossible to enjoy the beautiful view from bed.

The bed was comfortable and soundproofing was good.

Areas for improvement:
- Breakfast: A wide selection, but the overall quality was poor. We tried both Western and Chinese dishes, and even the wontons were just passable.
- The bread and pastries were unacceptable.
- The room had an espresso machine, but no coffee capsules were provided, only drip coffee bags...
- The sofa in the living area had a patch of different colored fabric. This slapdash repair contradicts the idea of quality service; the hotel should pay more attention to details (see photo).
- There were no power outlets near the bed or at the desk.

This is a historic hotel, and I was a bit hesitant when booking, wondering if it would still be comfortable to stay in given its age, especially with many newer hotels in the same price range nearby. My three-day stay completely dispelled any doubts. Choosing the Park Hotel made my year-end trip to Shanghai absolutely perfect. It's understated luxury, conveniently located with an excellent environment, not to mention. It's a fantastic value for experiencing the charm of Shanghai. The wontons at the Cloud Tower on the 14th floor, and the local Shanghainese dishes, are excellent – it’s a quiet, elegant restaurant with great views. In short, the hotel has many highlights and is definitely worth experiencing. It’s a hotel I would recommend to friends and family. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. A special thank you to Ms. Xiaojiowo from customer service; she made us feel so genuinely cared for and warm.

The environment here is fantastic, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The service was also excellent; after emptying the trash, the staff even washed their hands before refilling our drinks. The bellhop service was also top-notch. They even gave us scallion oil crackers when we checked out. I'll definitely be back!

This retro hotel is full of charm and boasts an excellent location right in the city center, opposite People's Square. What first struck me was how the hotel has preserved the nearly century-old architectural style of old Shanghai. The lobby, restaurant, and cafe are fantastic spots for photos. For someone who loves nostalgia like me, the rooms are absolutely perfect. Looking out at Nanjing West Road (with the bustling Huanghe Road just behind it) while enjoying a cup of coffee offers a unique flavor. 

Secondly, the front desk retains the unique charm of old Shanghai with its more seasoned staff. They handle interactions with international guests with ease. A special thanks to Tony Yang at the front desk; his calm and humorous demeanor, along with his very authentic recommendations for local food, attractions, and even transportation routes, made me feel incredibly welcome. My fondness for Shanghai instantly soared (I hope the hotel continues to feature such distinctive, senior staff). 

As I had an early flight the next day, the hotel's concierge thoughtfully booked a car to the airport for me. They even helped with my luggage all the way to the car before waving goodbye. Oh, a quick tip: you can scan a QR code in the room to buy freshly baked butterfly pastries from the International Hotel without queuing. They make a great gift for family back home.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations; its location and ambiance are top-notch, comparable to a five-star establishment. As an older hotel, it doesn't feel dated at all after its 2016 renovation. The style is vintage but the lighting is very bright. The air conditioning was wonderfully warm, and the amenities (telephone, hairdryer, refrigerator, etc.) were all in great working order and felt new. The bedding was also excellent. I particularly enjoyed the drinks in the mini-bar, and the small details (slippers, desk) were all very well executed. If I had to pick the best value-for-money hotel, this would be it.

This was my first time booking a hotel through Ctrip, and it turned out to be such a heartwarming experience. My friend came to Shanghai for treatment at the Sixth People's Hospital, and our trip was rushed and quite anxious. I quickly picked this hotel on Ctrip, initially just looking for a convenient place to stay, but I ended up with a series of truly touching moments.

Upon check-in, the front desk lady greeted us with a particularly warm smile. When she heard we were visiting for medical reasons, she proactively informed us that the hotel had wheelchairs available for loan. Having a wheelchair made going to the hospital and moving around the vicinity so much easier. In that moment, I felt a sense of relief and reassurance. The room itself was clean and cozy, allowing our tense emotions to relax a bit.

But what moved us even more was what happened later. When the cleaning auntie came in to tidy up, she saw the medicine on the table. Without a word, she not only left extra bottles of mineral water but also quietly added an extra set of linens. Those extra water bottles were a lifesaver when my friend needed them in the middle of the night. The hotel's proximity to the Sixth People's Hospital was also incredibly convenient, saving us a lot of hassle from traveling back and forth.

Although we were staying for medical reasons, the genuine care we received from the service at Jinjiang Hotel Lingang felt like encountering a thoughtful family member while far from home.

I absolutely love this hotel! I was in Shanghai for a business trip, and it's perfectly situated right across from my workplace. It's a four-star hotel, and the location is simply fantastic – you step right out of the subway station and into the hotel's back entrance. It feels like a well-established property, and the lobby is impressively spacious. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Hidden Gem, a Shanghai hotel, a shining example of a Chinese brand under the Jinjiang brand.

Facilities: Renovated in 2004 and reopened in March 2005, the facilities are impeccable. The decor is remarkably Shanghainese, complete with Siemens appliances and Kohler bathroom fixtures. The toiletries are from the time-honored Chinese brand Shanghai Tang, creating a sophisticated oriental feel.

Environment: The hotel building dates back to 1920, later becoming the Jing'an Hotel. A century later, it was restored to its original name, ”Haige Apartment.” While retaining the charm of old Shanghai, the interior has been renovated. The hotel is located near Jing'an Temple, about a five-minute walk away, and is close to a subway exit. The large lawn at the entrance is a rare find in such a prime location. The on-site fitness center is compact and not particularly professional, but it's adequate.

Service: The staff are friendly and professional. They'll check on your luggage before check-in, as the hotel entrance is a flight of steps, making it difficult to manage without assistance. Breakfast is a buffet option, with both Western omelets and Chinese wontons available.

Came here with my boyfriend, it was pretty good.

**Facilities:** A bit old, but it's an old hotel that's been around for a while, so that's understandable.
**Cleanliness:** Everything was good.
**Environment:** The surroundings are super convenient, the subway station is right outside.
**Service:** Excellent!

For our joint birthday and wedding anniversary celebration, we chose the Jinjiang in Zhujiajiao. I had messaged the hotel through Trip.com beforehand, hoping for a small surprise, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply. Upon check-in, we received a room upgrade. I'm not sure if it was due to our two-night stay, a belated surprise, or perhaps, as my husband speculated, because the villa was easier to maintain. Compared to hotels that offer more thoughtful and proactive 'soft services' (customer care), their attention to detail in this aspect felt a bit lacking, which was a real shame. The villa itself was truly magnificent, boasting unbeatable water views and incredibly spacious interiors. The bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast impressively highlighted local specialties. However, the faucets could be a notch higher in quality, and we wished they were more securely fixed to the countertop. Many thanks to Jackson, our buggy driver, who escorted us to our room on the first day and provided a detailed and enthusiastic introduction.

The hotel is very nice, excellent service, clean, good-smelling and bright. Breakfasts are quite good, wide range of different food. A bit far away from metro station, but railway park make the walk nice. Also conference hall are really comfortable too, good equipped.

Mayday stayed in a family room at Xinhai Jinjiang. It's conveniently located just to the left, right at Shijia Hutong, and a short walk to the right, just off Metro Lines 5 and 8, offering convenient transportation. The hotel lobby is grand, the rooms are spacious, the bedding is immaculate, and the amenities are complete. I'm very grateful to the front desk staff, Xiao Qi and Xiao He, for their warm and attentive service. When we were about to check out, the manager, Xiao Li, personally went to our room to retrieve our forgotten charging cable. A true testament to the strength of a strong leader. Xinhai Jinjiang will remain my top choice for any visit to Beijing.

The room is clean and comfortable, the bed is also comfortable, but the TV is a little small. There are many business districts and delicious food around, and it is convenient for travel. It is a good hotel for business trips and travel, and it is worth recommending!

The hotel is very comfortable, completely worthy of its price, the front desk service is very good, especially the Zhang Yu, Li Shuang, Li Chaoran who served me not only are beautiful, but also the service attitude is quite gentle. I really want to think about what I think. I wanted to stay for two days and check out. The room was renewed repeatedly!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. There's a subway station right outside the entrance, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy. The floor staff were also very polite and had a great service attitude. The facilities are comprehensive, including free swimming and a gym, plus a laundry room. The East-meets-West buffet breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an.

During this trip to Xi'an, staying at Jinjiang International Hotel gave me a lot of surprises and touching moments.
The hotel's appearance is magnificent and perfectly blends with the ancient charm of Xi'an. When entering the lobby, luxury and elegance come to my face. Cheng Yaru and Yang Shaohui at the front desk opened a pleasant journey for me with their professionalism and enthusiasm. When checking in, they were skilled and answered all my questions fluently. Whether it was room details or travel guides, they gave accurate and practical answers.
The room is spacious and bright, with a sophisticated layout and simple and elegant decoration. The bedding is extremely comfortable, the facilities are complete, the bathroom is high-end and clean, and the toiletries are of excellent quality. The view outside the balcony is beautiful day and night.
In short, the hotel performs well in all aspects. The high-quality service is the finishing touch. If I have the opportunity to come to Xi'an again, this will definitely be my only choice, and I will definitely recommend it to others. I believe that every guest can enjoy a good time here.
