I absolutely love this hotel! I've stayed here before when I was invited by a brokerage firm for a strategy meeting, and this stay left me with an excellent impression once again. The hotel's overall design is elegant, grand, and sophisticated, and the location is superb, offering stunning views of the river on both banks 🤩. The hotel service is also fantastic, and both the gym and breakfast are great. Angel, in particular, provided very thoughtful service. I'll definitely bring my family and friends here next time!

An excellent experience. I stayed on the 44th floor, facing east, which offered a splendid view of the sunrise 🌅 and Pudong's 'three-piece suit' (referring to its iconic skyscrapers). Although the room was a bit small, it was quite comfortable for one person. In the mornings and evenings, I enjoyed watching the countless lights of nearby residential buildings, the constant flow of cars on the highway, and pedestrians 🚶 moving like ants on the streets. Both breakfast and the front desk are on the 38th floor, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows 🪟, allowing you to savor delicious food while gazing into the distance. Check-in included a 30% discount voucher for the hotel restaurant. The restaurant was quite quiet and empty in the evenings. The swimming pool is on the 7th floor, requiring two elevator transfers to reach. It's a heated pool with excellent water quality 👍. The housekeeping staff were consistently polite and smiled. Front desk service was also efficient and quick. The 50 RMB charge for 24-hour underground parking could perhaps be waived. Overall, it was a great stay.

I wasn't going to write this, as the hotel staff were actually quite nice, but their unprofessionalism was just too much.

1) Starting at 11 PM, there was a persistent banging sound in my room. I asked housekeeping to check it out. They spent over half an hour, but the noise didn't stop, and I never got a response. I ended up running around the entire building in my bathrobe to find the source myself. It turned out to be renovations happening in the women's changing room downstairs at that late hour. When I finally found the front desk, they didn't immediately address it and asked me to wait for the manager (it was almost midnight, and I was very lightly dressed). The manager eventually arrived and communicated with the renovation crew, and finally, I could get some sleep. If I had waited for the hotel to resolve it, I probably wouldn't have gotten any rest.

2) As compensation, I negotiated with the hotel to waive the cost of one person's buffet dinner from the previous night (a 300 fee). I thought that was settled. However, when I checked my bill back home, the charge was an *additional* 300, not a deduction of 300.

3) The hotel pool is excellent, but it closes at 9 PM. I chatted with someone at the fitness center, and they said it's because there are fewer people after 9 PM, and they think it's a waste of electricity??? This is a JW Marriott, and it costs 1500 a night!

4) I'm not a Marriott Bonvoy member, so overall, it felt like I paid the most money but received the most basic amenities.

On the positive side, the hardware is generally good, the rooms are spacious, and the pool is very comfortable – these are all commendable aspects. The soft services, however, are simply beyond words.

My family had an outstanding stay at the hotel. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff was consistently nice and professional. A special shoutout to Steven, the guest relations specialist, whose assistance made our stay incredibly enjoyable. 

The room was exceptionally comfortable, featuring a top-quality mattress that ensured a restful night’s sleep. We also loved the bathroom view—it added a lovely touch to our stay. The food in breakfast buffer was decent and we enjoyed a lot. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you for making our visit memorable!

The most memorable part of this stay was the service from Winston at the front desk! From the warm and professional check-in process to patiently answering all our questions and even proactively upgrading our room, he truly went above and beyond. He remembered our needs and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel completely at home. Because of Winston, this experience was perfect, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The girl at Check in counter is super nice, arrange us a very nice room with higher level and good view, i’m willing to pay extra fee to upgrade the room, because the girl is so considerate, sweet and patient.
The transportation here is very convenient, u can drive to any tourist attractions within 25min. Also provide free shuttle bus service to Dubai Mall.

The service was excellent, the location was excellent, and the reception staff provided superior and professional service.
