Excellent, very high quality. Although The Landis Taipei is a classic hotel with a long history, its overall quality has not diminished with age. From environmental maintenance and room cleanliness to the professionalism and friendliness of the service staff, you can feel the hotel's attention to detail. Although the facilities are not new and luxurious, they are very well maintained and comfortable. The overall atmosphere is calm and tasteful. It's a good hotel that has stood the test of time and one that I would be willing to stay at again.

This stay in the Stream View Room was fantastic! The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and the in-room hot spring bath was spacious with great views outside. They even provided instant noodles, snacks, and drinks, so no worries about getting hungry in the middle of the night.

The staff were all very friendly and kind, and the environment was clean, elegant, and quiet. I especially loved the lobby's decor. The public hot spring, spa pool, sauna, and steam room were all free to use twice, and the changing rooms were very clean and comfortable. For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western options. We tried one of each this time; the Chinese breakfast was very substantial, and the gua bao and pork thick soup were delicious. With a 12 PM checkout, we had plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and pack our luggage leisurely, which was very thoughtful. Oh, and they even offered a complimentary afternoon tea during check-in, which was a lovely touch!

Pros: Breakfast is perfect, very good combination of western and *********. Location is perfect if you are visiting Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. Only a couple of bus stops. Very authentic local restaurants around. Employees are willing to help. Free soda in the fridge, decent gym. Good balcony view in certain rooms.
Cons: My room was clean but shower head was loose, although I was able to fix it myself, it made the bathroom a chaos. Shampoo and bodywash are not good considering it's a 4-star. Electronic bidet that cleans you but doesn't dry you out... public baths could be a good place to relax, but it only open 4-10pm, which is not friendly to travellers who only stay for the night.
