We have stayed this hotel for 4 times already, every time we have found feel like a home away from home. Location is great, very close to metro, nearby has shopping centre and various restaurants.  Hotel is a bit dated, but they have rooms with newly renovated, really spacious with two double beds, beds are very comfortable, we all slept very well. Swimming pool is traditional Chinese design with beautiful landscape and slide, kids love it. Special thank you to front desk staff 小莫 Xenia, she is very helpful and friendly, gave us great offer.
In addition, hotel has great range of breakfast too, both Chinese and western food. Chicken congee soup is one of best meal we enjoyed most. Over all, great stay experience with great price. Strongly recommend with any family with young kids

I usually come here for work meetings, so it's always a rush. This time, I specifically brought my child on a Saturday for pure relaxation, focusing on a slow-paced, chill vacation. We happened to arrive during a typhoon, and the cool mountain breeze from Baiyun Mountain outside the window completely set the mood.

The hotel environment is serene and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. The guest rooms are well-lit and spacious, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. I must especially commend all the staff for their gentle and heartwarming service:

During check-in, front desk staff Yao Sheng and Liu Zhaohan were patient and meticulous, communicating in a gentle and thoughtful manner. They even proactively offered us a free room upgrade, which was a huge surprise! Duty managers Xiao Wang and Liu Weilun, and front desk staff Xiao Wu, were hospitable throughout our stay, promptly responding to any requests. Their sincere and polite demeanor made us feel completely at home.

We spent the typhoon day relaxing and strolling around the hotel, clearing our minds. The mountain breeze was incredibly therapeutic. The room had excellent soundproofing, ensuring our rest was undisturbed. The comprehensive facilities, including the pool and sports venues, were perfect for a relaxing time with the kids.

I've always appreciated the hotel's hardware and location, but this leisure stay truly impressed me with its meticulous service. It's suitable for both business trips and family relaxation. It has now become our top choice for short family getaways, and we'll definitely be back!

This is one of our best hotel stays in Guangzhou over years. The location is excellent, within hundred meters of subway.

The island is full of greenery, lot of parks and places to walk. 

The staff were extremely helpful , the check in and checkout process was seamless. The rooms and the beds were clean. We loved the pillows, one of the best pillows we found in any hotels.

We booked an Executive Suite this time. Upon entering, there's a living room with balcony access. To the left are the bedroom and bathroom. Both the bedroom and living room have access to a private plunge pool on the balcony.

It was a bit rainy when we left on the 2nd, but the rain stopped by the time we reached the hotel, so the kids could enjoy the public hot springs and infinity pool on the 13th floor. There was even a bubble bath pool during the holiday, which the kids absolutely loved.

Next to the lobby on the 1st floor, there's a family-friendly play area. However, since my child is already in elementary school and more interested in water activities, we didn't participate in the 1st-floor activities. It rained continuously on the 3rd, so we just enjoyed the private plunge pool in our room, and the kids still had a great time.

Dinner was a buffet with unlimited crayfish, roasted chicken, and BBQ. The roasted chicken had crispy skin and tender meat – absolutely delicious! The unlimited crayfish was a hit, and we were still eating it at 8 PM. Very good!

Upon check-in, I added the front desk staff member ”Jiaojiao” on WeChat. She was incredibly responsive to all our requests, even replying promptly after 9 PM. Her attitude was excellent, and she regularly reminded me of upcoming activities. Loved it!

Overall, we were very satisfied with our May Day holiday trip, and the kids had a wonderful time too.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel, stayed 7 nights this time. There was construction going on the whole time I was here. Overall stay was not bad. I often ordered food and coffee via *******. Sometimes my orders will be delivered to my room using a delivery robot. But other times my orders will sit near the front door. Not sure why.. The hotel also received taobao packages for me as long as I have checked in. They unfortunately will not accept packages before check in. My room this time was on the 19th floor, which is where the laundry room is. Staffs helped moving my laundry to the dryer then folded them, which is very nice.

Love, love, love it! For this price, the value for money is absolutely amazing! Every single staff member was wonderful. Right from when I got out of the car, the strap of my bag broke, and it was full of stuff. Immediately, a bellboy came over to help me carry it to the front desk in the lobby. Then, they upgraded our room, gave us complimentary breakfast, and even a free drink at the lobby bar in the evening. The staff at the gym, both the handsome men and beautiful women, were also very friendly and attentive. The downstairs area is very spacious and great for a stroll. Even though I wasn't traveling with kids, I feel like this hotel is perfect for families with children. The room even had baby slippers and toothbrushes, and downstairs is practically a kids' paradise. The only minor downsides were that the pool water was quite dirty, and you could clearly feel sand at the bottom. Also, breakfast was incredibly crowded; I walked around for ages and couldn't find a seat. When I went to get food, it was so packed that I just grabbed a few items and left.

Qiling Hotel: A Quiet Choice Next to Huayan Temple in Huadu

I originally planned to stay at Atour Hotel, but because it was far from Huayan Temple in Huadu, Guangzhou, I finally chose Qiling Hotel, which was only a few hundred meters away. This choice was undoubtedly a big surprise on this trip.

As soon as you step into Qiling Hotel, you can feel the high quality of its hardware facilities. The environment is quiet and elegant, and the lush lawn and atrium garden complement each other, making people feel like they are in a quiet oasis. The hotel service is also very warm. In the early morning, even the aunties who meet by chance will send warm greetings.

The room is equipped with facilities from well-known brands such as American Standard and Panasonic, and the details such as automatic flushing toilets and complimentary bottled water are all attentive. The corridor on the first floor near the highway is spacious and atmospheric, more than two meters wide, reaching the standard of a five-star hotel. Here, even if there are small needs such as insufficient hangers, the waiter will respond quickly with a phone call, and the thoughtful service can be said to be responsive.

The breakfast experience is also wonderful. The mung bean soup porridge is sweet and delicious. The rich dishes make people's appetite increase greatly. The overall cost performance is very high. The hotel's parking is very convenient. The parking lot can directly reach the lobby door, which is very convenient for getting on and off the car or carrying luggage. The landscape design at the lobby door is ingenious. Whether it is a dazzling night view or a bright day, you can take satisfactory photos.

The bedding in the guest room is well selected, ironed flat, clean and tidy. The bathroom has sufficient hot water supply, strong water flow, and high-quality toiletries. The interior decoration of the hotel is also quite distinctive. The corridor on the first floor displays many GAC models, highlighting its origin with GAC Group.

It is worth mentioning that the guests during the stay were very quiet, allowing me to enjoy a quiet rest time. This trip to Qiling Hotel not only allowed me to get a full rest in a comfortable environment, but also felt the hotel's care and quality in the details. If I have the opportunity to come to Huadu again in the future, Qiling Hotel will definitely be my only choice.

It was an unexpected stay. It was originally intended to be a place to stay for one night on the way back to Shaoguan from Mangshan, and to soak in the hot springs to relieve the fatigue of climbing. The result was so good that we had to change our itinerary and stay here for another night!

The entire resort is built in the style of Bali. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the stone decoration makes people feel very refreshing. The large-scale empty restaurant and lobby, plus the artificial waterfall behind the lobby, give people a very relaxing atmosphere.

The hot spring area is simply amazing. It is built along the hillside and the guests can enter the mountain unlimited times. There are pools and amusement facilities for children to play, and there are three normal temperature swimming pools, one of which is the infinity pool at the top.

From the foot of the mountain to the top of the hillside, there are dozens of hot spring pools of different sizes, with a comfortable water temperature range of 38-43. There are many water dispensers in the hot spring area, and there is a food building in the middle, which provides free sweet potatoes, taro and drinks without limit. You can stay in it for a day as long as you want.

Going up to the infinity pool at the top, in front of us is a magnificent picture of Yangxi River Reservoir and the mountains in the distance. Especially when we encountered a short rainstorm in the infinity pool, we hid in the roofed hot spring pool next to the infinity pool. The heavy rain outside made the water surface crackle, and the mountains in the distance were looming in the rain and fog. At this moment, the Chinese landscape painting seemed to have turned from paper into reality, which was even more amazing than the scenery on a sunny day.

In addition, there are slides and swings for children to play by the river, and there is a plank road ending at a small waterfall for fun. In summer, there will be a water park. Considering the price here, the cost performance is much higher than that of the resorts in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. It is really a paradise for children.

The only regrettable thing is the food here. The price of the Chinese restaurant is much higher than that of the farm outside, but the taste is not much different. The food in the breakfast restaurant is simply unworthy of the name of the Guangdong and Guangxi gourmet province. It is recommended to improve.

We arrived earlier than the check-in time and asked if we could check in early one day in advance and got a positive response. On the day of check-in, we were upgraded to a deluxe room because the room had not been cleaned yet. Five stars for the service of the guy who checked us in that day.
The room is large, the facilities are intact, and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. It has everything you need, which is good.
