Serene, calm resort with gorgeous gardens. Staff were amazing and the a la carte breakfast was delicious.  It's on the south end of Sanur, not too busy but that's what we were after. You can walk to the busier part in about 20-25min or take a Grab. The only thing we didn't love was the beach, Sudamala has their private strip of beach next to other hotels, located about 7min walk from the hotel. Unfortunately neither the sand nor the water were  too clean on the day we visited, and the beach looked a bit sad, with very few people.
Overall still a great stay at Sudamala, we'd visit again.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Due to a booking error with the dates, I had to upgrade to a family room and pay an extra fee. That was fine by me, as it was my own mistake. The main bedroom is on the top floor, the second floor has twin beds, and the first floor is the entrance, bathroom, and toilet. The amenities were quite complete, and we were even given earplugs, which was thoughtful, as the sound of the waves and people walking on the stairs could be a bit disruptive. From the main room, we had a window overlooking the sea. Breakfast is served at the beachfront restaurant with specific set menu options, and you get to choose one. The food was delicious and the portion size was perfect for me. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room interior was lovely, and the atmosphere was very artsy. On my second night, I moved to a pool-facing room, which was my original booking. The vibe was a bit darker but still comfortable. The bed was also comfy. Car parking is quite limited, which could be tricky if all guests arrive by car. However, there's enough parking for motorcycles, and it's located right in front of the hotel. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and you can also order hot meals from the hotel for lunch or dinner. The food prices were still reasonable and enjoyable. This hotel offers good value and was just right for me. The comfort was maintained, and the direct beach access was a huge plus. I highly recommend this hotel.

This stay was much more than I expected. I originally booked this hotel as a last-minute emergency for one night, but I ended up wishing I had booked my entire three-day stay here!
What stood out:
A Special Shoutout to ”Superman”: I have to give a special mention to my driver, Superman. He was absolutely incredible! From the very first moment I met him, I knew I was going to fall in love with my stay at this hotel. He made everything feel seamless and welcoming.
The Room & View: The room was incredibly spacious. Even though I booked a garden view, I was given a generous upgrade to a partial ocean view. From the beautiful bathroom to the balcony, the scenery was breathtaking.
Exceptional Service: The service went above and beyond. They contacted me via WhatsApp and were extremely flexible in helping me book a private tour for the same day.
The Experience: They arranged a pickup for me directly from the Lombok port. I rented a GoPro through them for the tour, and despite the rain, the team was so kind and accommodating.
Dining: I had a delicious dinner, and the breakfast the next morning was outstanding with an incredible view.
Everyone at the hotel was wonderful and the attention to detail was amazing. I truly regret not staying here for my whole trip. Highly recommended!

I really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club.

I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask.
