This was my first time traveling to Hakodate, and I think I picked a great hotel for my first impression of the city. The staff are always welcoming and greet guests in the lobby. The rooms are larger than those in many other hotels in Japan, and they are very comfortable. From my room, I had a nice view of JR Hakodate Station, which was a great bonus.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is only a one-minute walk from the hotel to JR Hakodate Station, making it very convenient for travelers who want to visit other places in Hokkaido. Also, there is a underground parking lot under the hotel. The parking fee is only 1,000 yen per day, which is very affordable.
Overall, this is a great hotel that offers excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location all in one place.

We stayed at the hotel for the first time and booked a sea-view room.
The room initially assigned to us faced the sea, but due to a large building platform blocking the view, we were completely unable to see the ocean. Therefore, we returned to the lobby to request a room change.

Our service was provided by a young lobby staff member, Mr. Io Choka, who was extremely courteous and professional. After checking the availability, he informed us that another room could not be prepared immediately, and he promptly contacted his supervisor. Following their communication, the hotel prepared another sea-view room for us within approximately 15 minutes.

During the waiting period, he updated us on the progress every 5 minutes. Both my husband is and I felt his professionalism and attentiveness to our needs. Afterwards, Mr. Io Choka also carefully assisted us by carrying our luggage to the new room and ensured that we were satisfied before leaving. We sincerely appreciate Mr. Io Choka and his supervisor for arranging such a wonderful room for us. Staff like him make guests feel truly secure and comfortable, which is indeed rare. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude once again to Mr. Io Choka and his supervisor for their outstanding service.

Besides, the room are excellent and many travellers stay in the hotel restaurant to enjoy the dinner. I guess the food there must be good.

I am forward to returning again.

The room facing Nakajima Park would be incredibly cozy and relaxing, especially if the weather is good or it's snowing. It's about a six to seven-minute walk from the subway station, and exit 3 has an elevator. You can tell the room's decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and has a luggage rack. The lounge on the first floor overlooks a garden. Overall, it's a great choice for a relaxing getaway.
