We booked this eco-friendly hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located: there's a metro station nearby, as well as two shopping centres. The hotel is large, but there was quiet and peaceful.
The view from the window was beautiful, even despite the typhoon that was hitting Shanghai these days (our room was on the 12th floor. We chose the hotel because of its location and good breakfasts. The breakfasts were really very delicious and tasty.
There was both Chinese and European food. A wide selection of fruits: watermelons, melons, apricots, mangoes, bananas, dragon fruit. There were many different pastries, several types of yogurts, even matcha yogurt.
Also, at the exit from the restaurant, there was a Candy Bar with chewy marmalade: you can put the marmalade in a small bag.
The room had everything, including a capsule coffee machine, an ironing board, and an iron, which is very convenient. l'd especially like to mention the eco-friendly slippers, which really stand out from the slippers in other hotels: they're very comfortable. The staff was polite and quickly resolved any issues that arise.

The hotel is located in the heart of Nanjing West Road, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. We opted for a stay in the Deluxe Club, and the executive lounge breakfast experience was outstanding, with daily menu updates, a wide variety of choices, and consistent quality. The hotel's dome-shaped pool boasts excellent natural lighting, a bright and clean environment, and well-maintained water quality, making a leisurely swim truly enjoyable. The entire staff was prompt and attentive with their service, maintaining the high standards expected of a luxury brand hotel. Being adjacent to Kerry Centre, all dining and shopping needs are met in one place, making it perfect for both city getaways and business trips. Overall, the experience is highly recommended.

The location of Pudong Shangri-La is excellent, right next to the Oriental Sports Center and directly opposite Qiantan Taikoo Li. It's also a very popular hotel, with many guests checking in. On July 25th, before 2 PM, there was already a queue at the front desk. The check-in staff seemed very unprofessional; they were slow, and even engaged in lengthy conversations with guests, which made things even slower. They claimed there weren't enough housekeepers and that we'd have to wait an hour for our room key, suggesting we go explore outside while we waited. This was on a day when it was 40 degrees Celsius outside! So we just had to wait, with no water offered and no updates on our room status. When we inquired at the front desk at 3:30 PM, they were still unhelpful. It wasn't until I got visibly upset that a manager came out, provided our room key, and offered complimentary breakfast as compensation. Objectively, the room service, restaurant service, room amenities, and dining were all excellent, meeting Shangri-La's usual standards. The prompt compensation was also well-handled and appreciated. However, the check-in staff at the front desk clearly lacked professionalism and communication skills, and the entire front desk area felt quite chaotic. I hope they can improve this aspect. For privacy reasons, I won't share photos of the staff members at the time, but it was genuinely one of the worst check-in experiences I've had in all my years of staying in hotels.

Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hongqiao Airport, truly redefined my perception of an airport hotel. It's not just a convenient stopover for catching a flight, but a refined haven worth experiencing in its own right.

The hotel excels in convenience: From Hongqiao Terminal 2 Arrivals, you can follow the signs and walk directly to the lobby through an air-conditioned corridor, without ever needing to go outside. This is especially convenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

The environment was the most pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about airplane noise, but the room's soundproofing was beyond impressive. Watching planes take off and land from the tarmac outside my window, I felt a sense of tranquility, completely isolated from any hustle and bustle. As a fully Horizon Club-equipped hotel, I enjoyed coffee and a light meal in the lounge in the afternoon, watching the flight information screen – it was both reassuring and relaxing.

The room design incorporates elegant Old Shanghai elements, with meticulous attention to detail. The toiletries and bedding maintain Shangri-La's consistently high standards. Breakfast deserves special praise; in addition to the standard buffet, there are à la carte options like Eggs Benedict, meat patties, soy milk, and fried dough sticks. The waitstaff thoughtfully reminded us of the dining times. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was genuinely smiling and promptly responsive. A special shout-out to Charlene, who was warm, attentive, and always happy to help!

In summary, whether for business or a romantic getaway, this hotel delivers a delightful experience that exceeds expectations. The next time I fly through Hongqiao, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Staying at the China World Hotel again, it still feels familiar and welcoming, like coming home – extremely comfortable. The room is clean and bright, facing the Third Ring Road, and watching the scenery outside the window really lifts my spirits. The gym and swimming facilities are excellent, quiet, and well-maintained. The executive lounge staff are friendly and appropriate, and the food is abundant and delicious. I've already booked a room for next weekend, making China World a cool haven this hot summer.

Service: Housekeeping and breakfast service were excellent, definitely up to star-hotel standards. However, I found it strange that they served hot water in the restaurant during dinner on a very hot day; shouldn't it be iced water?
Environment: It's too old, honestly nothing much to mention.
Facilities: The facilities are too old. Even on the lowest setting, the air conditioning was very noisy at night. The hardware is outdated, no smart toilets, and even the toilet seats lack soft-close mechanisms. Shouldn't star hotels use a percentage of their profits for regular renovations? I don't understand, it's a 'Chinese characteristic' I guess. The room I got was next to another connecting room, luckily it seemed unoccupied, otherwise, I imagine the soundproofing would be poor.
Hygiene: Despite its age, the bathroom was relatively clean.

Having stayed at many five-star hotels in Beijing, this one currently reigns supreme. First off, the views are unbeatable; you get a panoramic sweep of iconic skyscrapers like the CCTV Headquarters and Fortune Plaza. The night lights are spectacular, truly embodying the city's vibrant spirit. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue that was quickly resolved by upgrading my room. The 64th-floor lounge offers 24-hour free-flow drinks. While the variety isn't extensive, it generally meets most executive lounge expectations. The coffee, however, is quite good. The happy hour on the 80th floor had decent pastries. Hot dishes were replenished quickly, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is absolutely top-notch, combining à la carte and buffet options. The à la carte seafood millet porridge, with generous portions of scallops, sea cucumber, and shrimp, was incredibly comforting – I had two bowls. The egg tarts, fresh from the oven, were also outstanding; flaky crust, not too sweet, simply delicious. I recommend going before 9:30 AM for breakfast to snag a window seat and enjoy it at leisure. The room had many thoughtful details. For instance, the Nespresso machine already had water in it, and the instructions were incredibly simple – just pop in a capsule. In most hotels of the same caliber, I'd usually have to add water and plug it in myself. The large bathtub came with a headrest, and bath towels were conveniently placed within reach above. Even under the sink, there was an anti-slip towel mat, making every corner of the room feel meticulously arranged for comfort. The pool on the 78th floor is open until 11 PM. There are also two steam rooms and a massage pool, perfect for relaxing. I'm already planning to try a room with a view next time.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The lobby is designed like a beautiful garden, complete with fish and birds, and there's even a children's playground out back. The dining tables are nestled among plants, creating a tranquil yet inviting atmosphere. They even have handmade pizza! Upon check-in, we received complimentary coffee, and the latte was delicious. The staff are incredibly professional and attentive. When my period unexpectedly started, a staff member quickly brought me sanitary pads. The king-size bed in our room was enormous, and there's a direct drinking water tap. The breakfast spread is abundant and especially great for kids, with a dedicated children's food station. There's a good selection of Western-style breakfast options.

Great location, very close to the metro, Shenzhen Station, and Luohu Port, making it super convenient to walk to. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the service attitude is also excellent. I hope they add smart home features in the future.

I chose this hotel because I was going to Hong Kong 🇭🇰, and it was so convenient! It's just a 100-meter walk to Futian Railway Station, and the subway is also easily accessible. My child really wanted to take the subway, so we went to Hong Kong. The two round trips were really unpleasant. This place is part of China, yet you have to put up with the attitudes of the people there; they look so impatient, as if we mainlanders owe them something. Without our mainland fish, how would your economy grow? I'll never go there again. Shenzhen is much better, with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was good too 👍. Seeing Hong Kong people coming to Shenzhen to spend money, it makes you realize how much more affordable the mainland is. A bowl of noodles in Hong Kong costs over a hundred, and everything is expensive. I'll definitely come back to Shenzhen for food, drinks, and fun. Happy! There were no crowds at Disneyland during the summer vacation 🤗, and there will be fewer and fewer people in the future. Welcome to Shanghai Disneyland, where you don't have to deal with anyone's bad attitude; just let loose and have fun!

The hotel is located right above Mangrove Bay South Station, next to Ruijing, making it very convenient for getting around. For shopping and dining, besides Ruijing next door, it's also easy to get to Shenzhen Bay MixC and MixC World. The room size is average, but it's very new. They provided complimentary fruit, wine, and afternoon tea. The view from the window overlooks the golf course, not the construction site, which is quite beautiful. The breakfast selection is also very rich. My only suggestion would be to offer more side dishes for the congee. Overall, it was a very good stay.
